Matt and his brother Luke did an excellent job. They paid attention to detail and meticulously applied the coating. Garage looks amazing. His quote was competitive and fair and there were no surprises. I chose them to do my garage flooring because of the industrial quality of materials they used. I knew this would last above and beyond the warranty they provided. So I knew I would get the best bang for my buck. They had tons of samples to choose from and walked through every step from the diamond grind, to the non-​yellowing polyurethane finish. They cleaned up afterwards and finished the job within a day. Our surrounding neighbors already want their floors to get done as well.

I hired Matt and his team to do a job on my auto shop. when I first called him, he promptly showed up at my shop to take measurements and present to us the floor samples. Soon after he left, I received an email that laid out the cost of the materials and labor. He showed up exactly on time the day the job was to be performed, he completed the job promptly without sacrificing any bit of quality on his work. The floor came out great, I have yet to stop staring at it! Matt did a very professional job and I am very satisfied with his quality of work. I would recommend him to anyone looking to give any garage (commercial or residential) a new life. Matt was a pleasure to do business with!

Working with Matt was a great experience. He was very professional. He showed up on time, did exactly what he said he would do, made sure I understood the process, showed us several samples and options to choose from, etc.

We wanted to get our garage floor epoxied so it would be presentable & clean, light and bright for for us and our guests. I knew that getting our floors epoxied would help protect the floor from stains and also coverup the sub-​par finish quality of the concrete floor.
We researched different companies in the area and Epoxy LA had the best prices and great reviews here on Unilocal.We were somewhat skeptical of all the 5-​star reviews, but all the glowing past reviews were spot on. You can’t go wrong with Matt! There are very few contractors out there who try like Matt does, and I have worked with dozens of contractors.
Our house is full of problems to fix. One of them was an ugly, cracked concrete patio. No matter what I did with it, it went wrong because the surface was in bad shape, though an inexperienced person couldn’t tell that. So, I kept trying solutions, but everything I tried only made the problem worse. Matt understood what was going on. He came in and explained the options, got approval, and set to work. That was it. Problem gone.
Now, I have a lovely epoxy-​coated patio. It’s beautiful, and Matt even guaranteed his work for six years. What a stress reliever! The other contractors who gave me estimates didn’t offer a warranty at all. They concentrated on telling me how often I’d have to hire them to come back to patch the work.
Plus, Matt won’t squander your money. He does a great job, and he does it on your budget.
In short: stop searching. Hire Matt.

Matt is a one of a kind exception to my experience with contractors. I have never dealt with a contractor that was as professional, competent, courteous, straight forward, and fair as Matt is.
I built my own custom home 22 years ago, and I have done many upgrades to my home since then, so I have had numerous experiences with construction contractors. Most of them I have found to be poor to average and many just lacked integrity.
I needed to have my driveway and entryway re-​painted as it was in disrepair. I searched online for a contractor who had good reviews. I stumbled upon the Unilocal review for Epoxyla and saw several 5 star reviews which grabbed my interest.

on Unilocal,I decided to give him a call. The next day he was at our home showing us samples and providing us with a very reasonable quote, so we decided to pull the trigger. If you want someone that is hard-​working, honest, trustworthy and pays exquisite attention to detail and doesn’t cut any corners, then you have found your guy. I cannot say enough good things about Matt and strongly urge anyone who needs to have their garage floors done to call him. He promised he would have our garage floors done over the weekend and he was there from morning till night time each day to complete the job within the promised time frame. Absolutely stunning work! I needed my garage floor epoxied and a back concrete patio as well. Matt had a huge array of samples to choose from. He even made sure when our first selection wouldn’t be warrantied by the manufacturer, he let us know and made sure we could select a finish that would be warrantied… Matt’s fast and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend him and use him again!

I used Matt and his team to install an Epoxy floor in my new home in Santa Clarita. They were exceptionally easy to work with, came to my office to help me select a color choice, provided a clear estimate and faithfully stuck to those charges even when opportunities arose that could have caused those charges to rise. In addition, Matt made me aware that his company offered additional services for which he was licensed, and that I could include those needed additions at the same time he was working on the garage floor. The work he did was professional and thorough, there were frequent opportunities for inspection and approval, and he offered (repeatedly) to correct problems I identified on the spot, or give me up to a month to notice things that needed correction for which he would return. I can tell you that I WOULD USE MATT AGAIN WITHOUT RESERVATION FOR THE SAME OR SIMILAR WORK BECAUSE HE AND HIS TEAM WERE SO GOOD. (Sorry about the caps, but I know some people just scan a review and I wanted this to get noticed.) I wish other contractors had his work ethic.

We had our garage floors done recently by Matt Sawyer from Epoxy LA. He gave us a clear estimate, he showed up on time as promised and finished exactly when he said he would. Our garage looks fantastic too. Very pleased with this company. It is so hard to find a contractor that does what he says he will do. On top of all that, he is one of the neatest contractors we have ever had work on our home. Aside from the epoxy on our garage floor, there was no evidence he was ever there. Great job!

Just a follow up to say that when the floor was done, Matt noticed a few lines in the topcoat and offered on his own to put another coat of polyurethane on it. We said we would live with it for a while. Then we noticed it was a little rougher than we wanted to be. We called Matt and went out of his way to schedule another coat before the holidays because he knew we had a party we were preparing for. We are so happy with the finished product!

I loved the work he did it turned out amazing. I had him apply 3 coats of epoxy to my garage floor and I love it. I highly recommend his work. If you need an epoxy job done give him a call.

Matt just finished the garage floor in a new house we had built. It turned out amazing! The whole process was smooth and his communication was spot on. I called about a month ahead of when I needed the work done and Matt walked me through the process, met with me to pick out colors and coatings and staying in touch until he started the job. We actually had an issue with the closing and had to push out a bit but Matt worked the weekend for us to ensure the flooring was done and ready for the movers. Since he finished we have had multiple people comment on it and ask for his contact info. I would highly recommend him.

We had our three car garage floor in our new house epoxy’d and it looks amazing. We are so so glad we did it because it looks incredible and super clean (which I would not normally say about my garage). I was so impressed with the work they did especially because it was peak heat in So Cal. They were very professional and thorough and we would certainly use them again.
