Bruce provides great service. I understand the complexities of troubleshooting electronics problems and Bruce was up front about the possible issues with my Samsung DLP. It could have been any number of components but he was willing to test each one in order to find the problem — even if it took multiple tries. He is also very knowledgeable about the different TV manufacturers and because he has experience with them, he is able to narrow down the likely problem with a given television. If you are willing to repair your tv (instead of throwing it out) it is worth calling Big Screen Express. It may be cheaper than buying a new one.

Absolutely great service. Bruce sent out Dave, who came into my home and took apart my large plasma Panasonic screen. He correctly diagnosed the problem and then ordered new parts.
I had to go out of town and was unable to have them come back and complete the job for an entire month. But I called them back and sure enough they still had the parts and then came on a Saturday to fix the job in about an hour for the same price they had quoted me.
In terms of price, Bruce was able to give me a price that was more cheap than any other place I called and asked for a quote from.
And when Dave was in my home fixing the television, I asked questions and he walked me through all of the different parts and how they worked and what went wrong.
Incredibly knowledgable and great people. Would use them for any of your tv repair needs if I were you!

We are having a problem with our 2 year and one month old Samsung 60′ flatscreen, I called this company after reading there reviews and was very pleased with the attention I received, and the info I got after sending them a vid of my problem. I now need to deal with Samsung directly.

I Just called for getting a quote for replacing the screen for 32 inch Samsung TV, and they quoted double than the price of a new TV. Now a days its very difficult to find who is giving a genuine review on Unilocal

Bruce is super knowledgeable, been around the block and honest with what it actually takes to restore your big screen to near original new condition. There is no bait and switch — if it is not repairable for reasonable parts/​effort and/​or within a reasonable percentage of purchase cost — then he will tell you.

Was very prompt to come in and service even worked on a Holiday to make sure that we were taking care of and our TV is working.
Our 42″, 2008 LG is now working! Thank you Bruce for fixing it and saving us money!

Bruce came out and assessed my tv. After ordering the part, it didnt work. He was nice enough to come back and reasses the issue. It may just be a bad screen, nothing we can do but he seems to know the products and has really gone above to help me.

I’m giving Bruce 5 stars for his topnotch service. Didn’t care for his insistence that I remark unfavorably about his competitor’s service on this review. He should let his own service speak for itself and not feel the need to ‘rundown’ his competition. With that said, he did beat their price significantly, and, in the initial phone contact, acted professionally and reasonable.

Big Screen Express is my hero! Bruce, the owner, is an incredibly hard worker! Extremely easy to make an appointment with — especially when Bruce, the owner and technician, works 7days a week and has appointments up to 8:00 pm. My 10 year old Samsung DLP starting having issues and I was bummed because I LOVE my TV set — it’s always given me a great picture. I called Big Screen Express and Bruce was ready to come out that day. I explained to him what was happening with the TV — Bruce came in and had my TV working in NO TIME — he also recommended/​performed some tweaks to my TV and the picture now looks phenomenal!!! Bruce charged a very fair price and was personable and professional! Bruce knows his TV’s and he doesn’t use cheap replacement parts! :). Big Screen Express has a customer for life!

We had an issue with our 52″ Samsung TV, we would have to wait for 5 minutes until the TV «warmed up.» I saw Bruce’ s business on Unilocal and decided to call him. I had to be at work so I called him early in the morning, and before I could leave a message he was already calling me back. When he showed up, he was extremely proffessional, respectful, and polite. He immediately knew what the problem was and got right to work. Bruce pinpointed the problem and told us the parts that needed to be replaced. He showed up on Sunday and was back on Monday and put the TV back together, could not be happier with the service. Would recommend Bruce to anyone!

Called to explain my problem, had an extremely rude guy talk over me and cut me off non-​stop. When I asked him to stop and just me finish, he went off on me. I’m sorry, but just because I’m female you don’t get to steamroll me. Maybe in your culture that’s put up with, but I won’t put up with it. And if that’s the service I can expect from the initial phone call, I don’t want to know what I’ll have to deal with following that. Screw that. Will go elsewhere that treats their customers with dignity and respect.

Amazingly awesome service. Such a speedy, courteous and friendly technician. He came to my house the same day and only took 2 days to get a part and I was up and running. He also gave me a few pointers and was very helpful because I was having cable issues as well.

this is unbelievable… I have a vintage tv the picture tube is bad so I called them and somebody answered and I described the problem and he said vintage tv doesn’t have picture tube, which he was wrong and lying… and then suddenly he hung up one me…
and I called again after 4 calls he answered and I said what happen and he starts to say bad words and he was Iranian and so racist, BTW I’m Armenian, and he insulted the Armenians and I swore back and I said I’ve never seen anything like this before, this is the worst store. He was so angry and racist. I don’t recommend this store to anyone.

I am not sure what was going on with the bad reviews, but I think we got top notch service. I don’t normally review services such as this, but I felt like it was necessary since they don’t have that many reviews and the negative ones are pretty bad sounding that it almost deterred me from calling them in the first place. It would have been a mistake.
My parents’ big screen was having issues with power and a lot of the peripherals were going haywire. We called and Bruce answered and was basically trying to explain to us over the phone what he thought was wrong which was basically like a free estimate. He scheduled a time to come out and take a look that day. He arrived in the time interval he said he would and was very friendly and polite. He took a look over the TV and was very kind enough to explain to us what he believed to be the problem. He gave us options and explained the possible costs for what he needed to do. He didn’t have the right parts with him but we didn’t expect him to be a psychic and know to bring the exact part that would go with the TV. He said he would retrieve the part and come back on the following Monday (since it was the weekend.) He arrived that following Monday (again, as scheduled) and installed the part and even brought a couple of peripheral parts that presented problems as he was doing the fix. He discounted those peripheral parts because we were doing a slightly more expensive fix with a more costly part. We found out that he had driven all the way out to Culver City just to pick up that particular part. He gave us a very fair price and he was very upfront and honest about everything that was being done to the TV. He even discouraged us from making unnecessary fixes even though it would have made him more money.
All around Bruce is a very very kind and honest person. He definitely knows what he is doing. He was also very pleasant to speak to while he was doing the repairs. He knows like 6 languages and has a very interesting background! I think as long as you show him respect he will show you respect also. It’s not called the «golden rule» for nothing.
Anyway, don’t let the negative reviews scare you! You won’t regret going with this TV service! It’ll save you time and money and will be a pleasant and easy experience!

I had a one local TV repair man come out to my house and charge me $ 65 for 3 min and told me $ 750 to fix my big TV he did nothing.
This is a good service place. On time helped me with my problem and made my TV OK to watch for now till the part came in and was $ 100’s less.
Extremely pleased with the service we received.

Yesterday my big TV went out, he was the first call I made … He did some research for me and found that my TV was still under warranty — he gave me the Panasonic phone number to call, and the part # that I needed.

These guys are the best! Same day service and they fixed my 55″ plasma flat screen right there on the spot. From the time I made the first call to the time that my TV was working again, it was less then 5 hours. Ed, the service tech, was professional and courteous. I will always call these guys first whenever I have TV issues.

I don’t know what happened to the first reviewer but a friend of mine recommended these guys. so I called, told him about my problem and he was accommodating and helpful he did asked me though to go to his website which is
for further questions.
I didn’t mind it cause he was working on a client during the time I called in. His website helped a lot specially the faq’s and troubleshooting guides.
I definitely recommend to go to their website first, read and research what is needed before calling them to save time, effort + money. nevertheless I appreciate his honesty.
