Awesometown Vapors

Only gave one star because there isn’t an option to give no stars. Bad service, over-​priced. The owner is a megalomaniac, if you don’t find out that he has a degree in «science» from these reviews (which begs the question, what discipline of «science») I’m sure he would be happy to tell you all about it. Just because the juice is hand made is not an excuse for it to be over-​priced. Won’t come back. WILL recommend friends/​family/​strangers to avoid.

I just left the shop and I gotta say it was a great experience. Guy was beyond helpful, very humble, welcoming, and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. He makes the juice himself and customizes the flavor just the way you like it. I’m trying to quit smoking cigarettes and have tried some of my friends’ vapes but was never able to find one I liked and he was so patient and explained everything I needed to know. He’s an expert in this field. I’m in love with my vapor and the juice flavor I got. I definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a great experience. I highly recommend this place.

Went in today and I’m incredibly satisfied with my experience and purchases. Guy helped me out and he was awesome; extremely nice, personable, and very knowledgeable. His hand made juices were beyond yummy and so spot on with the the flavors aimed for. Will definitely be coming back!

Went in for the first time today and I must say their custom juices are spectacular. I tried 6 of them today and they where all excellent. I was on the fence on nicotine levels and went with a higher level as I just quit smoking. He said if I found it too harsh I could bring it back and he’d replace it with a lower level — unheard of. It turned out to be right on the spot but I really appreciated the option. I wish I started here as the owner was super informative on tanks as well and a super nice guy with no feeling of purchase pressure. My future hardware and juice purchases will be with Awesometown Vapors.

Worst vape shop in SCV most of their mods are Chinese clones and they won’t tell you unless you ask. Also they only carry their own juice lines which are below average at best and made with very harsh nicotine. I’ve made my own juice in the past and it’s so extremely cheap to make (the bottle costs more than the juice) please invest in a better nicotine if your going to sell your own juice (Some advice Nude Nic is the smoothest ive found so far).
On the bright side the employees really are friendly and do want to help people quit smoking.

1. There is no incentive to write this review other than the fact that I merely want to see these guys succeed. The owner has a bachelors degree in science and has actually KNOWS what is in his juice, how the chemical compounds are reacting and only uses what he thinks is appropriate for vaping backed by EXTENSIVE research. I looked at their website and thought this appropriate to share on here.

2. There are so many companies out there creating juice out of thin air with absolutely NO KNOWLEDGE of what’s in the stuff, what it’s doing in the body, and why! I don’t know about you, but that frightens me, and frankly, if I’m going to be inhaling something all day, I trust the source of someone who is coming at this thing with a scientific approach. What that says to me, is that it’s not merely about the success of the business, but that they actually care about their customers’ physical well being. Imagine that.
–As for the price? Yeah, it’s a few more dollars a bottle than other companies, but to me, it’s worth it. I see some crappy reviews on here about the price and I keep thinking «quality vs. quantity” — Add those extra dollars up a month and ask yourself if that’s worth your health and peace of mind. If that’s not your priority or concern, that’s ok! Then it’s not for you! No need to give them a bad review. Geez. Oh yeah, and customer service– we all have conflicts in personality once in a while, and bad days… Seems to me they have resolved the issues, because I have never, not once, had a bad experience in here.
3. I physically notice the difference in how I feel when I use their juice. This is the number one reason I keep coming back. I HAVE A SOURCE OF FREE JUICE FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE AND I KEEP COMING BACK TO BUY FROM AWESOMETOWN because I simply feel better when I use their juice. No coughing, less sticky residue on my windows and surfaces (which tells me there is less in my lungs), etc. Tune in to your body and your surroundings. We didn’t quite smoking to be numb to these things all over again. Enough said.

This is my second time here and I couldn’t be happier. The first time I came with my bf we met Guy and he’s so friendly and knowledgeable. He helped me choose my first vape and let me taste a variety of their juices, which were delicious btw! This second time coming back again we spoke with Guy. He remembered us from the first time we came which is really nice. It makes the place feel very homey when they remember you. I told him I wanted another vape. He got the one I wanted and helped me set it up. When we opened it to set it up there was a packaging error. Guy went through a few boxes until the error was fixed. I really appreciated him doing that. He took the time to talk with us and take care of everything we needed. Guy is awesome and so are his vape juices. This place is honestly the best in SCV compared to the other ones I’ve checked out. I also love that you get get a free bottle of juice after spending a certain amount. Makes spending worth it. Can’t wait to come back again!

I’m done spending my money here. It’s more expensive than other stores, but I understand that all of their liquid is hand made by the owner himself. My problem is past experience. I bought a bottle of red laces in 3mg, and it was so incredibly harsh, I had to throw it out. Then the last time I was in there, I spent even more money on bad product and service. I asked for secret menu liquid that a guy made up for my buddy, coconut with a bit of chocolate. The lady went in the back and dumped a TON of chocolate into it. She handed me back a sticky bottle, then made fun of my name as I paid. When I tried to Vape the liquid, I couldn’t because the chocolate was overwhelming and the flavor had diluted the VG. Sorry Guy, I can’t spend any more money in here for that kind of treatment.

I just passed by this shop and decided to walk in because the name itself made me smile! When I walked in I was immediately greeted with a huge welcome from Guy (owner) and his staff! I am not a smoker but I got an amazing lesson on the benefits and the health conscious science used to create their vapor products! The owner is a chemist himself and was looking for a way to quit smoking cigarettes and find something way less harmful to the body! Guy and his wife make all of their own blends and manufacture there own products! They have a sample bar and offer complimentary service! I suggest if you’re in the area or have any interest in vapor you should definitely stop by! I had a great time and left with a new appreciation and awareness for these types of products! Not to mention I love supporting small business! Check it out!

Stopped by today for my first time. They were super nice and fixed both pieces for me and I purchased one of their juices. I’m super happy and will be back soon to try one of their other favors!

Zero stars!!! Please people, DO NOT take your business here!!! I spent $ 65 On new vape that has done nothing but leak. The sales girl failed to give me proper instruction upon purchase regarding soaking the coil first. Which burnt out the first one. I have taken it to the store multiple times to explain the problem. Both times being told if they could not find the problem they would exchange it. After following all of their directions and troubleshooting, I made a third visit to express my frustration. They again said they would exchange it but had to wait for «Guy». Upon waiting half an hour they said so sorry we can’t exchange it because Guy said so. I have never even seen or talked to this guy! How can he make that decision? So basically I am SOL. No mind that my friend bought the exact same vape and has had no problem with it at all. From one employee to the next they have something different to say, and obviously won’t stand begin their product. They sell defective merchandise!!! You have been WARNED!!! Horrible customer service! I give it negative 5 stars.

Chai tea juice is the best … This juice tastes a little spicy so if you can’t handle the spice don’t try this. But the flavor is so smooth and not too strong but can stand on its own. It’s pricey but worth it if you have the money !

These guys make their own juice in house. It is quality is well surpassed my expectations. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality Vape juice.

Excellent juices, made in-​house. I especially like the purple powder. Very clean, no spattering in the device or throat burn. Price point is equal to other shops and they have a large selection of hardware and parts. I use an Aspire Atlantis2 and the replacement coils are priced equivalent to online. Karen was friendly and very helpful. I will be back!

This is my trusted vape shop. All employees are nice and amazing. Not to mention awesome! So many house juices that are made safely. Great mods, new ones always coming. Free vape bar to test new flavors. :)

Love this place! It’s sometimes tough to find a Vape shop not staffed by bored college students, particularly in a town with a college. Awesometown just seems more mature. Good tunes, laid back but friendly and knowledgable staff (thank you Karen!), and a clean, non-​flashy environment.
They make their own juices, and also stock a few other brands. Their juice selection isn’t huge, but it is definitely all quality. I got a bottle of 18mg Awesomesauce and it’s like vaping a syrup-​slathered pancake platter. Delicious!
They give a small first time discount, and also student and military. They have a cigarette buy-​back program, too — if you’re on the fence about kicking the nasties I imagine it’s a nice little extra push. This is definitely going to be my homebase when not down in Hollywood. While I don’t always agree with Valencia’s self-​assigned nickname, this shop is the definition of Awesometown!

Came here to get my first vape and couldn’t be happier. All around great people and even better customer service. Being brand new to vaping, Guy and the rest of his staff have been so helpful. Great prices and awesome selection of juices (must try creamy cappuccino)
