Love this place! Henry is super friendly and helpful, He knows his stuff! They took great care of my husband with a new CarPlay stereo and hooked me up with some window tinting and a remote start to keep me cool this summer! Would highly recommend them ;)

Do yourself a favor and scroll to the bottom of the page for the «not recommended» reviews. Since the business pays for a business account through Unilocal,most of the negative reviews go into a (somewhat) hidden area.
I won’t go into detail about my experience because almost all of the 1 star reviews cover it already. My initial service with them was just a quick fix, which should have taken less than 10m. As of now I have spent at least 10 – 20 hours fixing the issues that have arose due to their sloppy work. I have also spent thousands of dollars. They, of course, have taken no responsibility for any of this, even though Mikes and the Honda dealer have provided me with written statements showing otherwise.
Do yourself a favor, purchase your equipment on eBay and hit up YouTube for installation instructions — TRUST ME, even with no experience, you will do a better job then they will.

I wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star they installed a stereo in our truck and backed it into a yellow pole and left yellow all down the side of our black truck and said that they had video showing that they didn’t back into a pole, so I asked to see the video and they told us that we waited too long and they didn’t have the video anymore which is not true they backed into the pole and it shows they just don’t want to pay to have it fixed or buffed. The installation garage is filthy they have poor customer service and when u call they put u on hold forever HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place I will never EVER go back there again.

Came to SCV auto sound to get my wiring removed from one car and reinstalled on another one. Maral and Henry were so accommodating. They did a great job recommending sound equipment for my new car and making the transition to switch my sound system from one car to the next quick, easy, and affordable ! They have a lot of knowledge about equipment ! I highly recommend this place for your auto sound needs !

My sub kicked off (due to a blown fuse) and I didn’t want to have to go all the way to the place that installed it for me (Simon’s Stereo located all the way in Van Nuys…)
These guys here in SCV Audio evaluated my system and noticed that the wiring job had been done with low quality wires. They evaluated and fixed my fuse for FREE of charge as a part of our deal. THANK YOU, SCV audio!
The gentleman explained that the reason it blew was because the crappy wiring they used didn’t give enough power to feed the amp. This was the cause of blowing the fuse. Ugh! Never going back to Simon’s again.
They have everything from subwoofer speakers to radio systems, decks, earphones, window tinting and custom rims.
Don’t waste your time and money… Come to SCV Audio — where they are very honest, competitive and very reasonable. I highly recommend!

Just bought a 2008 Dodge ram the front speaker was blown and had an old head unit. Whent in and talked to Henry who works there, awesome guy, he showed me the new pioneer stereo with Apple CarPlay. They installed the new stereo a back up camera steering wheel controls and New speakers. All I can say is that for no headache of doing everything yourself and having professionals do everything the correct way is amazing. These guys know what they’re doing let them do the work and you listen to the amazing sound that they produce. Thank you Santa Clarita autosound you guys are the best.

Very disappointed in this company. I had a problem stemming from the installation of an amplifier in my Corvette. The short story is they installed an amplifier behind the driver’s seat that punctured the fuel tank to the vehicle leaving me stranded and without a vehicle for over a week while a professional shop fixed the damage that was well over 1000 not to mention my time, inconvenience and potential loss of life, not to mention the actual stereo was installed improperly as well. I went to the shop to resolve the issue and even brought the fuel tank and the screws they used with me as well as the report from the company that fixed it clearly detailing the cause of the issue to which the employee said «we don’t use those types of screws» despite the pictures and the evidence and an obvious negligence. The repair bill from the professional shop even lists the cause of the damage as an improperly installed amplifier with the screws drilled into the fuel tank! The bottom line is my car is now basically not drivable now that the whole car smells like gasoline, the stereo doesn’t work and to add insult to injury, they haven’t even called me back in the 10 days since I visited to take care of the situation. I’m not the type to write reviews unless they are positive, but working in the auto industry myself I will say that if the company I work for produced this type of work we would be sued and the employees responsible would be immediately fired. I doubt they read these reviews, but I suppose I will see them in court. AVOID at all costs needless to say!

If you read all the reviews here, you’ll see both great and terrible, almost nothing in between. It’s hard to imagine the same place is getting those wildly different reviews. I am here to tell you, unfortunately, after having spent over $ 1000 in two different car audio places and getting completely different results, that the negative reviews for Santa Clarita AutoSound are correct. I am not a hater, this is my first ever negative Unilocal review (you can read my history), and I wish I could write something better. But, if you’re serious about car audio, this is not the place.
What I experienced:
* Poor service, felt like they were doing me a favor when I actually had their attention
* Late on timelines — they finished hours later than they said they would
* Inability to talk directly to the technician — which can be a big warning sign, but would have been ok if it wasn’t for the fact that…
* The sales people are not knowledgeable about advanced car audio installs at all, and when I tried to drill down deeper into why my system wasn’t sounding correct, I got nothing but word salad and bad information back. Sometimes it’s ok to say «I don’t know!» I could fill pages with the incorrect info I got back to questions about baffling, power ratings, and impedance.
* They installed a system that was designed to fail — too many speakers hooked up to a power amp that couldn’t safely deliver it without going into protect-​mode
* Finally, the work they did was with substandard wiring, and the door insulation wasn’t the same brand as what they said they were selling to me.
Plus, no refunds. Eventually I just cut my losses and walked away to somewhere else.
This review is 4 months after my bad experience with them… and the good news is, after working with another company, my car stereo is now simply amazing.
Unilocal is difficult sometimes. You never know who is saying what, or exactly why. Sometimes you have to read a lot of reviews to get the essential truth about a place. In this case, I did the work for you. For lower-​grade jobs, car alarms, maybe wheels or rims, they might do OK. I don’t know, because that’s not what I came for. I came to a place called «Santa Clarita Auto Sound» for an advanced car audio install, and purchased some expensive components, and I ended up regretting it for all of the reasons written above.
Hopefully you can learn from my mistake and do better.

Do not tell customers a time there car will be finished just to be 3 hours late and for a MEDIOCRE job at best. Unprofessional. Don’t waste your time or money, go somewhere else!

I’ve had some good luck and bad luck with this place. Sometimes they quote you a price on installation and once you get there they say oh we didn’t know about this and say it’s going to be s lot more. Or you being if in as the first installation and they’re trying to get it out after closing time… You know darn well they took on some extra installations during the day and pushed mine back. Some of their prices are the same as amazons, but a lot higher than eBay. But, yes… I would go back there.

Fantastic customer service, excellent work and affordable price, should I say more? We’ll be back and I will tell people and boy I know lots of people. Thank you guys.

Stay away from this place! All I needed was a simple auto start and keyless entry. My last three cars I had done on my own and one the dealership did. After calling around and checking Unilocal this place had ok rating compared to other install stores in scv.
I paid for an auto start alarm including install. Long story short after having an appointment it took 6 hours the first day. Finally they finished. As I drove away the doors began to lock and unlock. I called the store and asked if I could come back tomorrow. The guy said sure. I again had a appointment.
The next day it took another 4 hours of playing around with the different wires. After being assured it is good to go I left.
As I drove away the doors wouldn’t lock and same deal called and this time I could not get back their for a few days. I gotta work.
I took my car back and kindly asked/​told the owner guy with glasses «if you can’t get it to work please just take it out refund me and I can live without auto start. He became enraged and yelled in front of several other customers no refund over and over! He began to tell me his installers don’t work for free. Sorry but that’s not my problem they couldn’t do it right the first time.
The owner and two workers were now tearing apart my car probing wires near the engine breaking the waterproof seals. As I watched them start and stop my car about 60 times he yelled at me that I’m not allowed to watch them install because it is unsafe. I laughed and said were in a parking lot at this point I’m just worried your going to break something because your mad. As the hours go by he FINALLY calls the 1 800 need help viper number. Apparently they failed to follow the wiring diagram and connected wires wrong.
After leaving for the last time I got home and noticed the key fob always says a door is open even when one is not. I’ve given up and just happy it starts and unlocks the doors. The inside of my car was left a mess with wire clippings and black oily hand marks along the door and dash.
Needless to say I wish I had just gone somewhere else or done it myself. At least the big brand name stores stand behind their service.
Even if their prices are lower than others pay the extra few dollars for something you’ll be using every day. I wish I had.

If there was an option to give –5 Stars I really would. This is some straight bullshit how they treat their customers!!! I’ve been here since NOON for a window tint here it is, 630 freezing my ass off writing this review. Been outside carless all day literally. The manager is the most unprofessional prick I’ve ever came across. They said it would be done at 5. Nope. Said it will be done in 30 minutes. NOPE. Now they aren’t even giving me a time frame and I just want my money back. I want the tint ripped off and my money back. The manager says nope. Ha. Really wish I would of took my business somewhere else for this shitty ass tint job. BEWARE!

They provided a good installation at a reasonable price. The service was not out of this world, but they did answer my questions and stood by the price they quoted me over the phone. It was a «no frills» experience where I did not feel special, but at the same time they were not rude or mean.
The installation was done well and the installers were solid. However they did not do a good job setting up the amp. I had to change the settings when I got home so that the amp put out the correct frequencies for the speakers.
Overall I want to give these guys more than 3 stars but between the average service and having to tweak the amp myself it would be tough to justify anything higher.

They installed a product that exceeded my expectations, at a good price, and did a good job with installation. However, I’ve gotten better in store service from chain store employees. In choosing wired (i.e. auxiliary input) versus Bluetooth wireless, i expected some negative results from using the internal FM with Bluetooth. The anticipated problem didn’t occur– the sound quality is outstanding– but I can’t say that the staff were very helpful, or very interested in discussing the issues. More just luck on my part.
Going to a small, independent audio shop, you expect the salespeople to be enthusiastic about meeting your purchase needs, and in discussing a technical issue with which they must have much experience!

Save yourself the headache. I brought in a boat and my truck hoping I could find a good deal on the boat having a full system thrown in and putting a sub in my truck.
Simple, Good Deal? yes
Good work? NO
In my truck they couldn’t setup the amp so it wouldn’t blow the speaker. So, I ended ul going to SoundStation in Newhall and it took 5 minutes for it to sound great and not heat up.
My boat was there for a week scheduled pick up at 12 pm. I was there till 6pm waiting for it. Got home and the tower speakers had no sound took it back 10pm finally they got it to work.
That night I saw the wiring was horrible. They installed everything from a new battery to a radio to two amps and all the speakers it should have been a clean duty. Instead i had wires hanging random wires just cut with no idea where they went. Also they used DUCK TAPE to secure a wire to the tower speaker.
Told Henry the manager i would bring it back because they needed two more speakers that weren’t in stock and I wanted all the wiring cleaned up and tucked out of sight and to remove the duck tape and do it right.
After another week I had paint overspray all over the windows and the graphics, and the sound was not clear! Again they installed everything how could a «PROFESSIONAL SHOP» mess up.
Then we went to the lake and all the tower speakers were cutting out. I took it back once again and had it all redone and the paint «fixed». After two days I’ll see how my speakers are on Sunday and my paint I regret lettjng them «fix it» Its all scratched.
Well going into the installation room. I found two guys both immigrants with about as much schooling on installation as me which is none. After talking to them they were nice but kind of just mickey mouse everything together. David the owner is the knowledgabke one and he never goes to fix something unless you really complain. Also, I found out overtime is unheard of with these guys! No wonder the «technicians» don’t give a damn.

Just came here to get an overhead dvd installed. I ended purchasing from them too. They have a warranty on parts and install through the shop so you don’t have to mess with manufacturers.
My sales rep was Henry and he was great. Very low pressure but very knowledgeable. Definitely will be back when it’s time to upgrade my stereo.
They do window tinting as well, but I didn’t try it.

Good prices (this is the only reason for 2 stars), but I dropped my car off asking in advance «will my car be done by X» to which he said «yes.» To make a long story, I would have paid more to keep from being 30 minutes late for work… Thanks guys.
After my car was finished, the tint job is another story. It had areas that pealed up within 24 hours, multiple bubbles, and less than straight cuts on the back window. I came back to have it fixed and made sure I was the first one in, but once again I was quoted a certain amount of time only to have it take much longer than they told me (I was told it would take a hour and a half but 2 hours and 15 minutes later I am still waiting!). I would prefer for them to tell me it will take longer and then be pleasantly surprised. Looks like I should have paid more to have quality work done the first time.
If you are looking for a good tint place, this is not it. You get what you pay for.
