Business Owner
Sheila is an enthusiastic teacher and performer who loves to share her passion for music and musical performance while encouraging technical excellence and individual artistic expression. A native of Mountain View, California, Sheila Townsend received a Bachelor’s of Music in Musical Theatre (Magna Cum Laude) at the Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University. Adept at teaching both classical, musical theatre and contemporary music, her students are regularly recognized in the community as talented musicians who are both incredible soloists and excellent ensemble members.
Sheila keeps herself quite busy teaching voice lessons, doing vocal direction for schools and theaters, performing and working as Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church of Mtn View. Upcoming projects this Spring include providing vocal direction for Saratoga High School’s Les Miserables, Los Alto Stage Company’s performance of the Sondheim classic, Company.
