Juan’s Groom Room

Juan and his team are such awesome, genuine people, and have great customer service! I feel so lucky to have found this place. They take such great care of my chow pup and she comes home happy, fresh, and clean every time. You can tell that Juan knows what he’s doing and is very knowledgable. Once, I took in my pup for a sanitary trim and mentioned that I will schedule a bath soon. Juan noticed that she had sticky fur around her ears due to medication for an ear infection, and he told me to wait until the ear infection was clear before bringing her back for a bath because the exposure to water could make it worse. During another visit, I thought it was time for a nail trim, but Juan explained to me it was not yet necessary since there were no white bits on her nails that have grown long enough to be trimmed off yet. I appreciate all of his advice!
I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for doggie grooming needs. I am the type of person who does not tip unless it is well-​deserved and it DEFINITELY is here. The prices are very reasonable and I have not come across a place that has fair prices for the same high-​quality service. I typically schedule a bath with aloe shampoo (which comes with nail trim and ear cleaning), tooth brushing, and sanitary trim for my medium-​sized chow and it comes out to less than $ 50! Of course, it depends on the size and temperament of your dog, but it is very understandable. Chows are known to be reluctant towards strangers, but mine has no problem at Juan’s shop. They really handle your pup baby with great care.
It was convenient that my boyfriend lived across the street so that I can wait there for my pup’s appointment to finish, but now he has moved away and the location is a bit far from where I live, I will STILL be coming here… I guess I will just kill time at the mall instead, which is only a few blocks away! (:

I have been searching a long time for a good grooming salon, I finally found Juan’s Groom Room here on Unilocal with excellent reviews.
Juan by far is the best groomer I have ever had for my little Yorkie, just see how adorable he looks in his picture after a grooming by Juan.
Prices are reasonable and they even take credit cards, which I have not found at any of the salons I have gone to.
The salon is modern, pristine and clean with up to date facilities and a very open airy atmosphere. The groomers are warm and welcoming, when you leave the feeling is that your dog is in good hands and will be well taken care of, so important to us animal lovers.
I highly recommend «Juan’s Groom Room» try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Exceptional grooming! An old time frustrated Petsmart customer took a chance with trying out this new salon based on Unilocal reviews and found the experience amazing. My pet did not get cuts and burns this time like he always got at Petsmart. Had spent more on vet bills than grooming until now. Highly recommended!

I am very pleased with Juan’s Groom Room staff and services. My cocker spaniel is always kept in a buzz cut hair style to keep her cool and skin less itchy. They leave her looking super cute!

Juan has been grooming my two Havanese for many years now. I was so happy when I found out that he had opened up his own shop which was even closer to home. Juan always does an amazing job grooming both of my dogs! He has notecards for them and already knows the exact haircut I want for them so it’s always an easy drop off. It’s a great feeling to be able to drop them off knowing that Juan is taking great care of them and they always look cuter than ever when I pick them up. Juan is super friendly, easy going and very professional. He is truly talented and passionate about what he does!

I recently went to Juan’s Groom Room for the first time. We recently moved down to the South Bay and I was looking for something closer to where we live/​work. I pass Juan everyday on our walks and finally decided to learn more.
Juan’s Groom Room has 5 starts for a reason — the service is great!
I have a 10 month old puppy who is still getting used to going to the groomers. I called to make an appointment, and it was very easy and I got all the information I needed on what shot records, etc. I needed to bring.
The day of the appt. when I dropped off my pup, Juan spent time with me discussing how we like her to look, how she behaves, etc. I felt so comfortable leaving my pup there — I knew she was in good hands.
I was told I would get a call in 3 – 4 hours (which is usual for any grooming service). When it was getting close to the 4 hours mark, Juan called me to let me know that due to her puppy behavior (and the fact that I waited a bit too long in between grooming) that it was taking a bit of extra time. I really appreciated the check-​in and it made me feel even better about the service.
I will be going back to Juan’s regularly now! Highly recommend!

They are so great! I have a German/​Australian shepherd who sheds anytime the season so much as twitches in a warmer direction. The furminator package is life changing. Their customer service is great and they never seem impatient with my countless questions. Last time I brought him in they called to let me know it would be an extra hour because he got anxious during blow drying so they let him air dry. Their communication about timing was great and they kept me updated so I could plan my day/​errands around it. Thanks for keeping Cooper (and my house) in such good shape!

Our big ol’e English Bulldog normally really hates going to the groomers, but he has really started to change his attitude towards Juan’s Groom Room. Prices are not bad compared to other groomers and I feel you get so much more as they use special deshedding shampoo, clean all wrinkles and his ears, brushes his teeth, clips his nails, besides just the regular bathing treatment. Bar-​none a great deal. All the works are great with our dog and he no longer has any anxiety going to the groomers.
I would definitely give Juan’s Groom Room 5 woofs up and a repeat offender rating.

I took my Bella in for a trim and sanitary grooming. The service was fast, professional and she came home looking exactly like what I had asked for. I’ll definitely be back and I’m thrilled to say I’ve found my new groomer. Ask for Virginia, she does excellent work and I’d highly recommend her.

I’m so grateful I found this place. I tried several different dog groomers, nearly all that were highly rated on Unilocal,and never went to the same place a second time, until I found Juan. This is a «one-​stop-​shop» for my bulldog, who has extra needs that aren’t tended to by many local groomers, like gland expression (god bless ‘em :-/​)
1. They never take on more dogs than they can handle. Too many shops will accept any appointment requested; the result is a chaotic environment with less attention to detail.
2. The owner is really cool and seems to always be there, ensuring consistent quality.
3. All of the employees are very knowledgable, beyond grooming. The girl I usually talk to must have experience as a vet tech; she knows more about my breed than I do!
4. Their prices are great! Especially considering all of the above!

I took my two pomeranians here when I was on a tight schedule and couldn’t get in anywhere else. A staff member at my vet’s office recommended this place, and I was able to get my dogs in the next day. The place is cute, clean, and wasn’t overly frightening (sometimes walking into a crowded groomer with a ton of dogs barking, me and my little dogs get a little overwhelmed). Best of all, my pomeranians came out looking amazing. I was very impressed with the service, and the price was reasonable for the services provided vs Petsmart where I had taken them previously. I will definitely be bringing them back here.

Juan did a great job with our Westie! Making an appointment was really easy. I sent an email asking for his availability and he wrote back within a few hours. He asked what we needed done and listed days and times he had available. I’m not a big phone person so it was great to be able to just write an email instead of talking. I had asked to add on a teeth cleaning as well as a conditioning crème rinse. I should have double checked when dropping our dog off that these services were added to the grooming, but I forgot and realized it when paying that neither was done.
The total price for our 20 pound Westie was $ 55 which isn’t bad at all considering it only took about 2.5 hours versus 4 hours at some other places. Our Westie usually has short hair so if your dog has longer hair, it might be more expensive since we didn’t do the typical Westie cut. When I came by to pick up our dog, Juan asked me to wait 5 minutes so he could finish our dog’s face. Our dog looked great and was cut evenly all over. Definitely recommend Juan’s Groom Room for how fast and professional he and his team are with grooming!

Too my mini Aussie here and Virginia did a great job! She gave her such a clean, classy trim and even put bows in her hair! We will definitely be coming back!

() Today was my pups 1^st grooming with Juan’s Groom Room, this establishment is clean, well equipt for pets grooming needs. My furry baby was left pretty, clean and happy.
The staff are friendly, polite, and welcoming. Please give them a chance to show you their grooming skills. Juan cares about his furry clients and pet owners. I am extremely picky when it comes to my pets, and feel this is a quality grooming facility. It’s quite a distance from my home, but I feel safe, secure leaving my fur baby in their care.

I have only been here twice but both those times pebbles looked amazing. She was evenly shaven. Her nails weren’t jagged or sharp like some places leave them when they trim the nails and there were no nicks or cuts that I know sometimes can happen.
My doggie can be a little finicky so I was glad to hear that she did great both times and that he didn’t have any trouble with her.
You can tell that juan loves the animals that people bring in to groom them and is careful with them
I’ve tried other groomers and this one is top notch. I like that you can see where the dogs are left and the grooming tables. The place is always clean.
Pebbles isn’t shaking like crazy (like she did with other groomers) after I get her so I know that he is treating her with care
I will definitely be coming back as a regular customer

The owner immediately as soon as we came in was very welcoming. His groomer for the day was also very nice. I had always gone to Petco or Petsmart but I think I may have found my to go place. It’s definitely a lot cleaner than the retail locations. I would definitely recommend this place, everyone is forthcoming and welcoming. Nothing but positive vibes from this palce!

I brought my 3 dogs and Juan did an amazing job; he is a very talented groomer and the saloon it’s beautiful; he is simple the best… And very down to earth. :)

We used to drive around one hour to East Bay for our dogs grooming services, because we can’t find a good one in local.
Happened to see Juan’s grooming service while driving by the area and decide to give it a try.
Virginia did a great job for my Maltepoo with TLC!
Now he has a cute ice cone shape hair style, and cleaned teeth. I am shock that my dog is so handsome.
I believe Virginia must treat him like a little prince as he even didn’t want to leave when I picked him up.

Just took our Pomeranian, Teddy, here and loved it! Shout out to Virginia who did a great job with him.
The place was nice, clean, calm and affordable. Both Virginia and Juan were very friendly. Teddy can be difficult, especially at places like the vet and groomer, but he seemed happy and relaxed when we picked him up. After a a couple other poor grooming experiences, we are happy to have found this place. Will definitely be back!

I am beyond pleased with the way my dogs grooming turned out! She looks amazing! This was only her second time being groomed, the first time was done at Petco. At Juan’s I could immediately tell she was much more comfortable than her previous grooming experience. Her haircut is perfect, and the added bows are just too adorable. Even the price was great! Can’t wait to take my princess back here!

Yay a groomer in my neighborhood! To make things better he used to cut Chloe’s hair at his old job! I’m super stoked this is his spot! Took my lab and my daughter’s dog to have a spa day. Dogs loved Juan and we’re happy to go with him. They smelled wonderful and looked beautiful when I came for them and they were happy!
It is a very clean and well organized business with pleasant staff. I liked that it was all within view.

I’ve been following Juan around since 2011 for my dogs grooming. He’s worked at two other salons and I’m so glad he has his own place. Juan always does a great job with my girl Skylar. She turns 10 yrs old this year and he knows to be extra gentle with her old lady hips.

Snipes loves Juan!
My dog is a bit of a divo. He’s very sensitive about people touching his paws and Juan is the only one who he will let give him pawdicures. Go figure.
He fixed a terrible faux hawk thing Snipes had gotten done a few years back. And Snipes has been seeing him ever since. I told him, to «do what you think will look good» and below are the results.
So excited Juan has his own salon and thankful I now have a pet bear cub :)

Juan is a great groomer! I have been taking my doggy daughters to him for years. He is always professional, kind and caring with my girls. He was very gentle and mindful of my dog’s leg after she had knee surgery and worked around her injury.
The salon is clean and very nice, his staff is very friendly and his prices are reasonable.
