I specialize in capturing Wedding and Engagement portraits using available light and a photojournalistic style. I live for the feeling of finding the perfect light, the perfect angle and a genuine expression. There is no greater accomplishment, in my book.

Creative, editorial shoots feed the other half of my soul. I love working on a vision with a team of people, on location for long hours.

History

Established in 2010.

Mollie Crutcher Photography began as Young Hearts Photography. By January 2011 it had blossomed into a full-​time business for Mollie and continues to grow with each new photographic opportunity.

Business Owner

Hey there! I’m Mollie. I own and operate Mollie Crutcher Photography. I am a wedding and portrait photographer, serving Santa Barbara, Southern California and Worldwide destinations. I also shoot engagement, family and boudoir sessions.

I’m from Louisville, KY, but have a very misleading non-​accent. Like most humans, I love warm weather and sunshine… thus my move to Santa Barbara. I speak sarcasm fluently and I will cry if you show me an impossibly cute animal video. I eat chocolate everyday and spend a lot of time alone but I promise I’m not sad — those are just things I like to do.

I’ve been professionally photographing weddings and portraits for 5 years. I don’t really consider myself a boss or a business woman, but when I look back on these past 5 years, it turns out that is ½ of what I am. The other half is an artist; a documentarian; a maker; a creative. That’s the half I identify with most.
