The DVHS Summer Speech and Debate Camp specializes in teaching students the skills needed to speak in front of audiences and keep their attention.

Students also learn how to «own» a room by having a presence.

Graduates of our program learn how to be leaders and move on to the top universities in the United States. Each year, our alumni attend Stanford, Harvard, Yale, UC Berkeley, MIT, and many other top institutions.

Business Owner

Jonathan MacMillan is the speech and debate program director at Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon. This program has established itself as one of the top 20 in size in the country. Each summer, hundreds of students attend summer and winter camps, in addition to a yearlong middle school outreach program.
