Fran Donlan is known for her boundless energy and extensive personal and business connections that have made her a successful real estate broker in Marin for over 30 years. Fran grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania and later moved to Cincinnati where she obtained a BA in Business and an MBA in Finance and Marketing — all in 3 years. After a stint as an executive with Mead Paper Company, she and her husband relocated to California.

Bob and Fran helped me purchase my first home in 2010. Their knowledge, experience, communication styles, interpersonal skills, and overall excellence made what could have been a very frustrating and stressful experience a lot easier to go through. They did a wonderful job at keeping me educated regarding the process at every phase and kept it honest so I knew what to expect and wasn’t caught off guard. Even after I closed on my home, Bob and Fran still continued to provide me with a wealth of information and are extremely resourceful. Oh, and Fran makes the best candy. The Donlan team are pros at this and I am so grateful someone referred me to them. If you are looking to buy or sell your home, I strongly recommend the Donlan Team.

The Donlans helped me buy my first condo in SF in late 2008. Given the difficult financial markets the transaction was not easy — the seller was skittish and financing was scarce. The Donlans worked every angle to close financing ahead of schedule. Price negotiations were tenuous but Franny worked her magic to make sure the final price was fair. We closed in under 30 days. I could not recommend a more attentive team — everyone worked hard on my deal — attention to detail, documentation, negotiation, financing, etc. High praise for a job well done.

Fran, Bob and Colleen are awsome. I bought a home in Marin last summer. They were very helpful in leading me to the right property. They understood my needs and what I wanted and more importantly what I did not want and what it meant when I said something that seemed perfect for me on paper just wasn’t RIGHT. After nearly a decade renting in San Francisco my wife and I decided to look for our first in Marin in 2010. On the advice of a friend, we contacted the Donlan Team to help guide us through the home buying process. We could not have been more satisfied with their level of service.
Bob, Fran and Colleen spent took time to get to know us and our goals, and worked diligently to get us answers for any questions that arose during the process — demonstrating an exceptional knowledge of the market and an ability to demystify the process for new home buyers. When the time came to settle on a price and hammer out the paperwork, they proved to be tough negotiators and strong advocates for our interests.
Unlike many realtors, who end their engagement after the commission, the Donlans have gone out of there way to answer follow-​up questions and make sure that we have happily settled in.
