I have worked with Carlos for over 15 years before he opened T.L. Computer Repairs. He is excellent at what he does and goes way beyond what most people in his business do to satisfy his customers. He recently built a new computer for me, and transferred my files from my old system to the new one.
The new computer works great and I am beyond satisfied with it. I am pretty savoy when it comes to computers and I highly recommend this company.

Carlos, the owner, made whole things easy to understand. He ran diagnostic to what kind of work should be perform before touch anything. He replaced the ssd for me at the lowest price. He will provide the receipt that he paid for the parts. Honest, professional, and knows what he is doing.

I gave Carlos 5 stars because WooHoo! His service is as good as it gets. He cleaned up a virus in my PC that neither my malware/​virus protection or another computer tech company could get rid of. He also took my MAC that I bought used that I could not figure out how to function for me, updated all the programs and put links on my desktop to make it super user friendly for everything that I need to do. Plus Carlos patiently answered my questions.

Made a trip down to San Francisco staying just north of San Rafael for a job interview. Wouldn’t you know it, I closed my laptop on my headphones which killed my monitor. TL computer repair saved the day and I was back up and running by 9:00 AM the next day. His prices are reasonable and I could not be happier. It is not often that you find someone that really cares about the customer, this guy understands how it is. You can’t go wrong giving this guy a shot.

This shop is a superb place to get almost any kind of computer work done, PC’s, Mac laptops, even iPad and iPhone screen or battery replacement. The customer service is fantastic. And the prices he charges are as good as or better than almost any alternative.
Carlos has been in this business since the early 2000’s, and used to own a very-​highly regarded repair shop in Novato. Moving into this new location in 2014 (and selling his previous shop), his excellent reputation has not quite traveled with him… but trust me, it’s the same guy.
He recently took on an iPad screen replacement project for me, quoted a price for the work that was lower than anyone else in the county, and ordered the parts. It was a difficult repair, he was not able to install the screen without significant work on the case, so he simply ordered a refurbished replacement for me, and took a loss on the job. I admire the integrity he brings to his work, and cannot recommend him highly enough.

T.L. Computer Repair Shop was an excellent place to bring my mothers old Dell Desktop Computer. I met with Carlos. I don’t know much about computers myself and Carlos was so kind to take the time explaining to me what he could do to clean-​up, remove viruses, etc. the Computer Processing Unit (CPU). I’ve done this in the past for my mother and have taken it to other places. They charged me approximately $ 185.00 and had to keep the CPU for 3 days. Carlos charged me half that amount and we had the computer back the very next day. Carlos again took the time to show me what work he had performed and if I was satisfied with the service before letting me take the CPU home. Not only that, Carlos taught me how to get free installs of Applications from «Ninite​.com». Not only that, he instructed me on how to allow him access to my mothers CPU (through «TeamViewer​.com» with a security password) from her home to diagnose and possibly fix any problem directly without having to bring the CPU into the shop. How great is that? Plus, the location is great… the very Old Barber Shop along the frontage road of Hwy. 101. I strongly do recommend Carlos for your computer needs. When my mother finally does get a new CPU I will have Carlos build it for around $ 600.00. Costco was $ 700.00.

Carlos is one great guy. He goes out of his way to make sure that your machine is up and running like new with no glitches. He remembers me when I come in and always has a smile on his face. He goes above and beyond to make the customer happy. This place is great for MAC or PC and I highly recommend his services.

Carlos is my hero. first met him when he changed my power supply. did the job very fast and even cleaned out my computer of dust.
the real test came when he build me a new computer. Carlos is both honest and he knows his stuff. he made me some very good recommendations that saved me money but got me the power i needed.. i got a 500 MG solid state drive with 16 gig of RAM, and a motherboard that had lots of everything. Dell and HP don’t sell this unless you purchase their top end machine. the machine is fantastic. i know he also works on MACs.

Carlos was extremely professional. I called to replace a power pack fan, dropped the computer off 15 minutes later, and it was ready in less than an hour and a half. The price was more than fair. I would highly recommend this business.

Exceptional service! I was absolutely astonished when they called and had changed my power supply & fixed the corrupt start up files in less than a day!
Not only are the TL staff true professionals with an outstanding knowledge of their craft and friendly demeanor, but they have hands down the best pricing in Marin!
