Hall Bros. Termite Control was founded in 1985 by Steve and Sally Hall. 29 years later, their sons Jim and Lowell Hall continue the family tradition. Our company is founded on honesty, quality work, and providing value and personalized service to our valued customers.

James Hall has been a part of Hall Bros. since the early 90’s and received years of training under Steve Hall, the founder of the company. When he isn’t working, he enjoys hiking, backpacking, fishing, and spending time with his family. James and Cindy, his wife of 13 years, are also avid Sharks fans and love attending games in San Jose.

The Hall Brothers have saved me more than a few times. I had a wood boring beetle problem and they responded immediately and fixed the problem. They are incredibly professional, thorough and skilled. They were also very helpful and efficient in doing some work on the outside of my house. They kindly and patiently walked me through their inspection and explained what work was most expedient and critical to do first and what could wait. I really appreciated their honesty, thoughtfulness and professionalism. I highly recommend them and will be calling on them again.

I had a Boring beetle and termite problem at the house and needed someone right away. The Hall Brothers came immediately, were so nice, so professional, and helped me through all the steps — getting a price quote, explaining what they were going to do, etc. I had to tent the house to get rid of the boring beetles, and when I had concerns they called me back right away to ease my worries. They are a family run business and I admire that. Great professionalism, great work, and friendly.

I highly recommend Hall Brothers. Our house had some fungus and termites and James Hall came by to do a very thorough inspection and treatment. Immediately after the inspection, James was able to draw up a report and estimate for us and then administer the treatment, all in the same visit. He was extremely diligent and thorough and we appreciated the extra care he took to keep our house clean after coming back in from the crawl space.
We asked about scheduling regular, preventative services and he said the next one wouldn’t be needed for two years! (I believe his competitors would have tried to sell us quarterly visits.) On top of that, he guaranteed the termite treatments for five years. It’s such a pleasure to do business with someone so honest and conscientious!

My house had a localized termite infestation around the bathroom window. I received quotes from multiple exterminators however most of them either ‘found’ termite infestations where the did not exist, tried to upsell expensive preventive services or were not willing to do a comprehensive treatment (e.g. one of them said that they will only treat from inside of the house). I picked Hall bros based on the reasonable quote and an honest assessment of what is needed. The treatment they did was very comprehensive with multiple injection points from inside and outside. They even took of window baseboard that was severely damaged for better access. In addition I was pleasantly surprised that they accept credit cards for the payment.
Most importantly now it has been a few months since the treatment and there are no signs of termite activity (knock on wood).

This is my first review… I’m doing only because I want folks to know they should hire the Hall Brothers for their termite control needs. These guys are awesome (and I rarely use that word)…top notch at what they do, total professionals, honest, reliable, they take customer service very seriously, and are amazingly nice individuals. Truly went above and beyond. (And they’re cute, too!)

I recently had Hall Brothers install a 10 mil plastic moisture barrier for my crawlspace and I couldn’t be happier. Their price was significantly better than the 2 other estimates that I got from other companies. This is a family-​owned business and James Hall did a great job of always communicating with me when I called, being quick to follow up on e-​mail and completed the job within a week of me first contacting him. I was happy that he was able to work with me in creating different options as far as pricing with 6 mil vs 10 mil and I chose the 10 mil to get a thicker moisture barrier. Great price, great service, and job completed quickly and on time. Thanks James!

I began using Hall Bros when I first purchased my house in 1989. Back then, the company was owned by the Steve Hall. Steve is now retired and Hall Bros. is now run by James Hall, his son. James Hall continues to maintain the highly ethical and quality service that Hall Bros. is known for.
About every 5 years or so, I ask Hall Bros. to come out to inspect the underside of my house for termites and also for moisture problems. I’ve had them replace rotted posts under the house, spray for mold and they also installed a moisture barrier for me, several years ago.
Most recently, James Hall came out to do an inspection for me. He identified a couple of plumbing leaks, replaced a 2 – 3 of rotted posts and he dug out the sump holes for a couple of old sump pumps and got them up and running again. James and his brother-​in-​law (a licensed general contractor) were also able to replace some rotted support beams in the front of my house plus some rotted siding.
James is one of the most honest and professional people I’ve ever dealt with and I truly can not say enough good things about him. All of the work that has been done for me by Hall Bros. over almost 25 years, has always handled extremely professionally and has always been done timely, with very high quality and at a very reasonable cost.

Hall Brothers Termite came by and put a moisture barrier under our apartment. Until then we had this terrible mildew smell that the homeowner hadn’t taken care of. Their communication with us was great and it really felt like they knew what they were doing. Now our house is clean smelling. I highly recommend them.

After getting 4 bids from various companies I decided to hire Hall Bros to treat my dry wood termites. They did a excellent job explaining what they were doing. I feel they did a outstanding job, were honest and knowledgeable. Everything was cleaned up as if they weren’t even there. The price was very fair for all they did. I will definitely
contact them again for a total home inspection in the future.

I am a Realtor and have been working with Hall Brothers for about 7 years exclusively. I basically don’t want to sell a house with out having Hall Brothers inspect it. James Hall is amazing, very kind, courteous and thorough in his knowledge of the business he learned from him parents Steve and Sally Hall whom I have also worked with for years. I have found that James often finds things that other very experienced inspectors sometimes miss. James Hall is our go to guy for almost any home maintenance. We found him years ago when his dad Steve still ran the company and they did a termite inspection on each of our houses. They did all the repairs including some spectacular carpentry work. Since then we have been termite free and James has repaired many windows, gutters, water pipes, appliances, decks etc. He does exemplary work at very fair prices. We love him as a person. He is trustworthy and can do almost anything. He just built irregular sized shutters that could not be replaced with standard ones. They are gorgeous. He is going to paint our house soon. Yes the brothers paint too! They are delightful to have around. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I wish I could give them 10 stars.
