Thrilled with how good our windows look. Mario and his partner came out and did the job very efficiently and walked through the house with me afterwards. There were a couple of places that had small streaks and he fixed them right away. I’m set for another year and wish I had done it sooner.

This is the first time we have used Excellent Window Cleaning. From the phone call to set up the appointment, to the men who did the work, the customer service was outstanding. Our windows are very challenging, especially the huge floor to ceiling storm windows in the living room. Juvenal and Joel were so careful, thorough and hard working. Such incredibly nice and respectful young men. They did a beautiful job! I can’t recommend this company enough. We will definitely use them again.

This is one of the most reliable, efficient window washing companies in Marin. I’ve been a loyal customer to them for over 5 years and cannot recommend them highly enough. The workers are respectful and the company goes above and beyond to meet the needs of the client.

Excellent has consistently done a good job, showed up on time, had friendly and courteous people, and never up charged us. What can you say? They are excellent.

I just had my windows (and screens) washed — Excellent did a terrific job: thorough, efficient and careful. And they were reasonably priced. The three who came certainly lived up to the name. I couldn’t be happier.

We own a 3 story home in Daly City. So you can imagine how difficult it would be to attempt to clean the windows not to mention scary standing on a tall ladder. So we got a referral from a friend who has used them in the past and have used them for around 8 years now. We know when to call them too because you can barely see out of our windows. They have always been courteous and professional and even clean our window screens too. Next I have to try their pressure washing services.

We have Excellent Window Cleaning crew come to clean our windows and skylights once a year for last 5 years. They are professional, efficient and quiet. Our windows looks great even during rainy season. 2 years ago, they pressure washed concrete in front of the house, and I wonder why we waited for so long. We thought concrete was dark gray, but it was whiter than we thought, and brightened up our house. Money well spent!

I feel dizzy every time I walk into the kitchen, it’s like there is no glass in the window frames. We have had Francisco come clean our carpets and wash our windows over the years but this time we had really let the grime build up too long. It feels so fresh and clean, with clean windows, all the stains gone from the carpet and the couches and window seats. And Francisco is the nicest person. As my husband says, that guy is solid.

This is the BEST Window Cleaning Company EVER! I have used this company for years for window/​carpet cleaning and they have ALWAYS provided above «EXCELLENT» service. Their PRICING is very, very REASONABLE… especially for the awesome service they provide! The employees are some of the hardest working, most professional, dedicated to their job and personable people you could meet (DEMETRIO is my favorite BUT I’m sure ALL are GREAT) Also, the office personnel are helpful and pleasant to schedule with. I have used Excellent Window Cleaning for my outside third floor windows a few times. To reach one set of windows they have to climb over my neighbor’s back patio. The workers are efficient, careful, and do a very nice job.

I have used Excellent Window Cleaning at least 10 times to do the inside and outside of my 4^th floor apartment windows. The crew comes in quietly, goes right to work, makes no mess or fuss. When they leave the windows are sparkling clean, all curtains and furniture are replaced exactly as they were. They are very kind, courteous, willing and deserving of the name «Excellent».

Demetrio showed up on almost no notice on a Friday afternoon after another window cleaner I had hired for the day called in sick. He did the work quickly and beautifully — including washing the screens — and left the house spotless. And the cost was very reasonable.

Loved the job the crew did from Excellent Windows. Adam and Jonathan who I spoke with couldn’t have been more accommodating. THANKS so much. I will call in the future and recommend to my neighbors!

We have used Excellent Window Cleaning twice. The first time we used them, I was pleased with their work. This second time I was really disappointed. I had asked that the screens get cleaned and they were not done. Apparently, you pay extra for the screens to be washed. I guess their idea of cleaning the screens is just to brush the dust off. The guys who came out to do the job said it would cost extra to have the screens washed. I have the windows washed approximately once a year by a professional cleaning crew and when I include screens in with my order, I am hoping they’d get washed along with the windows. This mistake won’t happen again. I will be using another service in the future and will be sure to ask about washing the screens.

The 2 guys that cleaned my windows on Tuesday made a mess. The windows are clean but everything else is dirty. In cleaning the windows they got dirt grime on the white window frames and didn’t bother to clean them off. There are smudges, finger prints, drip marks with black grime. I’m afraid I didn’t notice until they were almost done that they were brushing off the screens INSIDE THE HOUSE. Now everything in the house is covered with dust: floors, tables, lamps, counters. When I noticed one guy brushing off a screen in the dining room, I said «I wished I had known you were cleaning the screens inside the house, you need to do this outside. So he opened the window, held the screen outside the window and brushed it off. Needless to say that just put dust back on the window sills and windows that he had just cleaned. In my bathroom there was dirty grimy water on my sink counter and my sink was dark with grime. I don’t know what they used my sink for but they left it a mess. When they first got here they used my hose out in the front yard and didn’t turn it off. When I came out of the house the water was spraying all over from the spigot because the other end of the hose had a sprinkler attached that was closed. This was a big waste of water during a drought. I now have to go through and clean all the window frames that they mucked up. Furthermore they left all the windows unlocked. I’ve had good service before Excellent Window Cleaners so I’m surprised this time. I’m very disappointed and have to say it is unlikely that I would hire this company again. Paying over $ 100 per hour (or $ 50 per cleaner per hour) is outrageous when it’s done so poorly.

I live in San Francisco and called «Excellent Window Cleaning» out of the Yellow pages. The first thing i noticed was how courteous and present the gentleman that I was talking with was. He made the appointment and clearly explained all the ins and outs. As most people, I had a lot of possessions lying around and I was security conscious.
He put me at ease and Jesus arrived on time the next day.
I heartily recommend this company… they did an incredible job. We have 2 condos, three floors, and one man, Jesus did all the work. He was all business and every window was spotless. Thank you Guys… Tom

Second time we’ve used Excellent for a medium sized condo building but will be the last.
Prompt and friendly but mediocre job. They came and looked over the building and knew that they would have to repel from the roof in order to get one side of the building. They should have known exactly what access was needed to neighboring properties and let us know ahead of time. Both times, it was all a big surprise upon arrival at the building. I didn’t schedule this most recent time, so I was not able to ask questions beforehand.
Building has been recently painted so there were some paint flecks on windows. Window washer would not take care of that as contract did not call for scraping. Again, one would think this would have been mentioned with the estimate.
The second day included some individual units desiring interior window cleaning. The actual price was TWICE the estimate. Response from window washer: «the estimator just looks up at the building and guesses a price».
Window washer unlocked and/​or taped all doors of building open for easier access during the day, which is fine, but then left them all open/​unlocked when he left, nor did he let anyone know that he was finished. UNACCEPTABLE.

We had our windows cleaned I was very pleased with the work of EXCELLENT WINDOW & CARPET. The man was Eliud Barrientos. He is quiet and very professional. Arrived on time and charged the estimate he quoted. It was a big job — included all windows, mirrors and skylights and it was a hot day! We will have him again. The number is 415−454−7848.

We used Excellent Window Cleaning for the inside and outside of the windows in our very tall Victorian house. They looked fantastic afterwards. They also cleaned an upholstered kitchen chair which sits by the stove in the kitchen and consequently acquires a film of grease. when the chair dried, it was streaked, so we called them back. They returned promptly, worked on the chair another hour, and made it look like new.
They are very professional, courteous and their prices are really competitive.

I called to schedule an appointment. The service was going well on the phone. When the person was showing reluctance that the cleaner would show up on time at 9am, I asked if they could be certain they wouldnt be late. The reponse was «i am just a manager, not his God». I didnt appreciate this comment. I have to be able to get to my job and that’s why I needed to know. I told the person that I thought that this comment «not very nice» and his response… «do you just want to forget it?» For $ 400-​$ 500 cleaning — I would think I could expect a dependable start time and courteous phone conversation. Clearly I did not go any further!

Prompt and courteous but totally unacceptable with respect to actually cleaning windows. A couple of guys ran a squeegee over our windows. We had to ask them to redo it several times, and even then the results were worse than what we can do ourselves witth a rag and some Sprayway. We’ve now already spent enough time on this that it’s arguably more trouble than it’s worth. Nonetheless, we had a good conversation with Jonathan on the phone, and they’re scheduled to come back and make good, so we’ll post more if there’s a happier ending.

I have used this service for a number of years and have been completely satisfied. I think it depends on who is sent out on a call.

I’ve used Excellent Window Cleaning and Carpet several times over the past 5 years (both in SF and Tiburon). Every time they have gone above and beyond what they said. I will use them again and again.

Price = ok
Cleaners that came to work = very good
Contract = too many fine prints and too many don’ts and not’s on their contract sign sheet (read it as much as you can)
Office staff = kind of rude and unpolite, and were trying to be a smart ass
Overall experience = ok
Will I use them again = No if I have to deal with the same office staff

I never had a professional window cleaning before. UNBELIEVABLE! After the cleaners left, I walked through my house looking at everything in a completely different way. The room seemed lighter… LITERALLY!
THe other amazing thing about the cleaning is they did the sills as well. The little cracks and grooves were clean. I was blown a way.
Usually I do this kind of cleaning myself, but I want to treat myself to this type of pro clean. It made a huge difference.

I received a call (almost a year later) from Excellent Window Cleaning’s management team stating that they have worked to improve their customer service (noting that the woman who hung up on me is no longer working there) and offered to make amends with discounted service (which I declined since a) I had just done the gutter cleaning myself and b) I didn’t want it to sway my review).
By the end of the call I felt that the owners and management do care… worthy of at least 1 additional star. I’d be willing to try them again.

We’ve had very pleasant experiences with this company – we’ve used them for 3 different properties now and have always had perfect service. The people in the office are friendly and helpful and the cleaners are very neat and efficient and did an amazing job with our very difficult house – we have windows that are quite high up. The prices are VERY reasonable.
