Electrix

I have managed several hundred units in Marin for over 30 years. Stu and Electrix are the best electricians I’ve ever worked with. Prompt, helpful, highly skilled and professional. I have referred my friends to them and nobody has had a problem. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a problem with my home. I called them and Stu was extremely helpful. We talked for a long time to diagnosed the problem and try to solve the issue without a person coming down. I could not solve the problem with him over the phone and scheduled a person to come over the very next morning. Later, I remembered I needed something else looked at and left a message on their voicemail. Stu called me in the morning to go over some of the details before the electrician came over.
When the person did come over, he solved the problem rather quickly and fixed the other issue I had. My only one complaint/​concern was the billing. The electrician charged me for the time he left the office to reach my home. I had never heard of this type of charge before and was not told of this until afterward he calculated the amount. He stated that he had to go to the store to purchase some parts before he came to my home, thus he started the clock earlier than I thought he should have. He called the charge travel time. I thought the travel time was a lot since he was charging me at the rate of $ 105 per hour. Travel charge if any should be distance multiplied by .55 cents or whatever the IRS number. He stated that he «saved me money» since he could have gone to my house first then to the store and could have charged me for all that time in between. I thought my conversation with Stu and giving all the information before hand that saved me the extra time for the electrician to diagnose the problem. I would give this place a lower review if it wasn’t for Stu’s friendly help.
