Unique Tile

Can’t really find a better word to describe. (I usually only read reviews and never really write reviews, but this time I decided it needs some extra effort on my side)
Voytek was Awesome, Fantastic, Friendly and etc.
We had water flooding in our Laundry Room and water restoration required us to break through the tiles so we hard to redo the tiles.
Voytek was able to help us out while we were on a tight schedule. My wife was expecting within 2 weeks so it was a really tough timeline but he was willing to help us out.
He did a great job of being upfront on the cost, which was reasonable and made sure that all the details are taken care of, cleaning up everything and etc.
Whenever I need to do something that has to do anything with Tiles, I will go back to him + would recommend to many other people as well.

I want to highly recommend Voytek and Unique tile. I had a kitchen floor disaster and called Voyrek to come fill in the big hole in the middle of my kitchen. Other tile contractors had no interest in the repair, because it was more difficult and they knew that for the floor to look it’s best, a complete overhaul was in order. Voytek did not shy away from the challenging situation. Once the repair was done, it so outshined what was already there that we decided to have him remove all of the remaining tile and complete the whole kitchen. He designed a beautiful pattern and was meticulous in its implementation.
Voytek is a master, an artist, a genius with tile. I am so glad to have found him and if ever I need more tile work done, he will be my guy.

What a wonderful Unilocal find! From the moment I first contacted Voytek, the communication was personable and speedy. We caught him during a brief lull in his busy schedule and was able to have him come work on our small master bathroom project. He is engaged from our first meeting (estimation visit) to the last day of the project.
You can tell from his attention to detail that he is proud of his work and is dedicated to maintaining his outstanding reputation in the area. Our project turned out to be a little more involved but he put in the extra time and effort to make sure that we understand what is going on. We felt very much informed and are able to make decisions accordingly.

My general contractor highly recommended Voytek to retile my entire house and tile my master bathroom. Voytek is simply awesome, and I highly recommend Unique Tile and am planning to leverage him for additional outdoor tile work in the future.
Voltek and Roberto are true craftmen who meticulously retiled my house over a 4 – 5 week period. They were flexible and were able to accommodate our living situation by completing the project over a couple phases as we constantly moved our belongings from room to room.
Voltek works extremely hard and makes every attempt to honor his commitment. He came over one weekend and put in long hours on both Saturday and Sunday to ensure he completed the project on time and unblock the other teams who were waiting to finish his part.
For our bathroom project, he went the extra mile several times as he found the perfect quarter round tile for us one day and on the next, spend hours at a several home improvement store trying to locate a single box of tile when he and the contractor realized we were short.
The end result is we couldn’t be happier with our floors and our master bathroom as well.
They take extreme pride in the work, and you can easily see the quality and craftsmanship when the project is finished.

Voytec did an outstanding job on the backsplash of our kitchen. Our family had chosen a seemingly simple design that ended up being a difficult task to complete due to the sizing of the tiles to allotted area and the type of travertine tile we had picked with uneven edges. It was a tricky job and needed to be completed with care in order to be done right which is why we’d been in search of a tiler for some time, and after consulting with a few we came upon Unique Tile and their work. After just two days of clean and detailed work Voytec finished our backsplash beautifully. Along with the great outcome he was very professional, easy to communicate with, and knowledgeable. In my opinion his pricing was also fair for the work he had done. If I ever had any tiling I needed done again I would definitely come to Voytec again.

We unconditionally recommend Unique Tile. The owner, Voytek gave us a very specific bid with lots of detail, which was competitive and very clear for a bathroom/​shower remodel. His crew members were great, honest and worked hard and long hours. They managed to keep the work site clean despite the debris after demolition, moved through the prep work telling me each day what to expect in terms of the work and the schedule, and were very meticulous. They found some problems and gave us reasonable solutions. He knows how to do everything. And when the tiling itself was done, we could not have been more happy. The work is absolutely beautiful. We are very pleased with this job. Voytek runs a organized business and he and his crew do wonderful work.

We highly recommend Unique Tile and will definitely be working with them again. We were redoing the tiles in our kitchen and got multiple bids. Unique Tile was not the cheapest, but they were price competitive and they were the ones we were most confident could get the job done right. There were some unforeseen complications when our old floor was lifted, but they stuck with the original bid. They redid our kitchen in the timeframe they said (actually a little faster) and at the price they quoted. They also went above and beyond by helping us with other areas in the house. Voytek is an honest business man and we love the job they did on our kitchen. On a tangent note, our kids loved Voytek he made them laugh everytime he came. We appreciated his family man mentality.

Voytek was awesome! Worked hard, very friendly to deal with and really went out of his way to give us great service. He was even sweet enough to keep on eye on the other work that was being done by my not so awesome general contractor. Great work! Highly recommended!

The team arrived when they said they would. They pointed out where the issues were and offered alternatives on recommendations about how the tile should go around corners and windows and the sink. They were fastidious about covering up our kitchen before they started and relentless in cleaning up after themselves.
Not the cheapest but far from the most expensive. Strongly recommend these

Voytek did an excellent job installing new floor tile in our indoor patio. Our patio was originally built as an outdoor patio next to our house with four unconnected concrete slabs for a floor. The previous owners of our house enclosed the outdoor patio to make it indoors and tiled over the concrete slabs. Over the years the slabs shifted with respect to each other, which caused the old tile to crack badly, allowing rain water and insects to get into the house.
We interviewed three tile setters. Voytek was the only tile setter who proposed a reasonable, logical solution to our problem. Voytek removed the old tile, filed in the cracks in the old concrete, laid a new continuous layer of concrete with rebar and chicken wire over the old concrete slabs, and installed a waterproof and flexible uncoupling polyethylene membrane on top of the new concrete. He then laid the new porcelain tile on the membrane, grouted, and added baseboards. He did all of that work for a reasonable price in 6 working days. The new tile looks beautiful, and we have a high degree of confidence that it will last for years without cracking.

I recently upgraded my old wood burning fireplace to gas, and wanted to have a new clean look to the surrounding tiles. Voytek came up with the idea of putting a solid marble slab, instead of rows of tiles. He and his crew did a fantastic job. They were efficient and finished the work with out any hassle.
I am not the easiest person to please, but their job was really good. I would recommend the work highly.

When I remodeled my guest bathroom, I hired Voytek Patkowski, owner of Unique Tile, to do the tiles and linear drainage. From the moment he came to give the estimate to the very finish, he conducted himself very professionally. He stayed focused on the job, came on time when promised, answered his emails, calls, messages without a delay and was very resourceful with the suggestions where to buy material to safe money. Perfectionist is correct. His team have a lot of passion for what they do and really understand what you are looking for. I was not disappointed. The prices are mid tier with other bids that we received, but you pay for quality. Definitely will be using them for up and coming projects.

Voytec remodeled master bathroom in my house. He provided a detail quotation which was very reasonable. The project included: removing old tiles, put new tile (including shower membrane), installing steam generator, toilet, shower fixture and all plumbing work. The project was finished on time in 2 weeks. Did not miss a single day. Quality of his work is outstanding. He is honest, professional and friendly person. Will definitely hire him for future projects.

Voytek the owner of unique tile is very personable and friendly. He is prompt for appointments and His estimates run mid pack. This is the third project he has done for me and each one has been flawless! All projects have been completed on time. I highly recommend him.

Did good work. For other reasons not related to his performance we needed to select another vendor to finish the work. After getting quotes from other vendors we realized we were being charged 2−3x by Unique Tile. Definitely didn’t think the work was that good! So definitely ok to go with them but make sure you price shop the quote!

Voytek and his team did an outstanding job with my master bath. What began as a ‘simple’ shower stall replacement turned in to a complete bathroom remodel. The work was outstanding, without any ‘typical’ shortcuts. The shower stall walls and floor were flowed concrete, the curb he didn’t use quarter-​rounds, instead polishing down an edge to minimize the tile /​tile types and make the look ‘flow’ through the room. When we remodel our kitchen, Unique Tile will get the job!

I agree with EVERY WORD. I contacted Voytek to help fix my previously-​remodeled bathrooms. The prior contractor (whose contractor’s license I am now seeking to have revoked) did such an awful job that the tiles in my shower were falling out. Literally, falling off the wall.
Voytek was horrified, and quoted me a very fair price to fix both bathrooms. He is simply AMAZING. His work is outstanding, top quality, and he’s a very nice person to boot. These bathrooms will outlast my house! :)
I give him my highest recommendation.

Voytek did the tile in our recent master bathroom remodel. He did an excellent job. Along the way there was a design mistake made (not Voytek’s mistake mind you) and that required removing about 8 large tiles and replacing them. Our designer cautioned us that often in the process of doing this, surrounding tiles may be inadvertently damaged. But Voytek carefully removed the incorrect tile and didn’t damage any tiles whatsoever. Not only that but he did the work in half the time the designer estimated it would take. Voytek works quick but he is ultra careful at the same time — just like you hope all contractors will work.
Voytek is also a really friendly guy and is a good communicator, always making sure we were informed of any potential issues in advance. He goes the extra mile and takes a lot of pride in his work. The guy’s an artist with tile and we would recommend him unconditionally.
