Raul came out to install a very heavy mirror into a large stone wall. He was timely, meticulous and attentive to my very specific requests about how I wanted the work done. When all was complete, and the suite cleaned as good as new, Raul’s price was exactly as quoted on the phone. I was very happy with his work and will have him back for future projects.

I need to cut few pieces of 18×18 granite tile to smaller size, went to few stores and none of them provide the service. I found contractor page at Unilocal and start calling every phone number I could on Sat morning. Only one place said they could do it but I have to wait till Monday morning and bring my tiles to the shop. While waiting for another contractor to return my call, I got a call from Raul, he returned my call which he missed earlier (I didn’t actually leave any message). We discussed briefly on the phone about my needs. He showed up one hour later at my door and brought his wet tile saw to help me. It’s a quick setup and the whole process took about 20 mins. He charged me less than the shop asked and I didn’t have to take my tiles to the shop at all. I don’t think I will be able to find anything better than this. Thank you very much Raul, I definitely will call you again when I need any remodeling work.

Raul thank you for saving us!!! We needed over 8 feet of travertine tile replaced & repaired in our kitchen and had a deadline to get the work done quickly. I had called over 10 companies and the only person who returned my call the same day was Raul. He’s very genuine, honest, aaccommodating, and dependable. He came to the house the same day, gave us an estimate, and was able to start the work the following day.
He did such an amazing job on the kitchen tile that we asked him to also remodel our old 1960s shower in the Master Bathroom with a beautiful marble tile with glass and stone mosaic border. In additon to this work, we also asked Raul to clean and reseal all our tile floors and granite countertops. We will continue to go to Raul each year to clean and reseal all our tile/​granite and do any remodels or repairs.

Raul (the business owner) is a nice person and I am glad that I found the reviews on Unilocal that are really helpful! His service was quick (took ~ 20 minutes for setup/​discussion and 2 minutes to bore a hole on top of my granite counter top for water filter system).
I recommend his service to anyone who needs to do the same type of work.

This rating is long over due. I had reverse osmosis faucet hole bore on granite countertop & wood base. Raul was very professional & respectful. He wore shoe cover, taped up around his work area & had a drop cloth. He explained the process as he did the work from start to finish. I highly recommend his business.

Raul returned my call the next day and was able to come that week to drill a hole in granite for a reverse osmosis kit that I installed myself. (The other hard part was making a hole in the drainage pipe, which I did with a soldering iron — open your windows for that).
The charge was $ 125, and it took about 15 minutes including set up time. It’s a lot louder than you think when you’re drilling a granite countertop, but that part only took about 30 seconds. I wouldn’t try it yourself, even after watching many YouTube videos, unless you’ve got other granite to practice with.

I spoke with Raul about his work going on next-​store. I had heard from my neighbor that he did great work. After a quick conversation, I could tell he knew his stuff.
Sadly, I had a new bathroom tiled and kitchen granit installed prior to meeting him; that said, Raul shared his knowledge and helped me understand the sealing and polishing needed to keep my place looking new.
I have MAD respect for people who are willing to take a moment out of their day to chat with someone, not because there is a job on the line, but because they have the experience to help, just for the sake of helping. I have used his advice, bought the materials suggested and the place looks outstanding. Thank you Raul! Keep up the good work.

I’ve been bitten by the interior decorating/​small scale home improvement bug and I decided that what my kitchen needed was a filtered water dispenser. A few months ago, I had Dave’s Custom Plumbing put in a water filter for my cold water tap for my kitchen island sink, but soon discovered that that wasn’t the practical way to go as people would do things with the filtered cold water tap other than drinking (i.e., wash their hands, rinse dishes, etc.). I went over to Barron Park Supply in Palo Alto and got the necessary hardware (water dispenser itself and washers) and had Raul come over and drill a hole through my granite countertop. Raul was prompt, professional, and courteous. Although the process of drilling a hole through stone was a noisy one (especially at 7:30 in the morning), it was a necessary evil and Raul was swift in getting the job done. I now have his name and number and will call on him for any stone-​related jobs that may lie ahead in my journey towards home improvement perfection.
