Qualifying buyers and establishing individual buyers wants and needs. Selecting and showing properties of interest. Negotiating and closing sales for my clients. Following through for each transaction on their behalf from financing to escrow to the final closing. Working with escrow and title officers, loan officers and mortgage brokers, architects and contractors and accountants as needed to complete the sale for my clients.

History

Established in 1987.

I grew up in a Real Estate family. Both my father and grandfather were successful Real Estate Brokers along the San Mateo Peninsula. My educational background also involved real estate, as I have a degree from the U.C. Berkeley in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing and Real Estate.

After spending 9 years in the corporate world, including a stint doing real estate work for a major Oil Company, I started my professional career in Real Estate sales in 1987, doing what I was born and trained to do — helping my clients achieve their goals of home ownership and wealth accumulation. I believe Real Estate is one of the best investments you can make and have dedicated my career to helping my clients with their real estate needs. I am associated with the strongest Real Estate Company in the industry Coldwell Banker and bring a wealth of knowledge regarding our local real estate market based on over 27 years of experience and hundreds of real estate transactions completed.

Jeff LaMont is a licensed Real Estate Broker with Coldwell Banker in San Mateo, California. He brings a wealth of knowledge regarding our local real estate market here on the San Mateo Peninsula based on over 27 years of experience and hundreds of real estate transactions completed. A third generation Realtor, Jeff literally grew up around the Real Estate industry and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Adminstration with an emphasis on Marketing and Real Estate from the University of California at Berkeley.

Many of Jeff’s clients have commented on his high level of preparation and professionalism in their dealings with him, as such he has adopted the by-​line «Your Professional Edge». Jeff is a recipient of the Coldwell Banker International President’s Elite Award placing him in the top 2% of Coldwell Banker agents worldwide and was recently named to the top 100 Agents for Coldwell Banker in Northern California.
