Unfortunately Ching Lee laundry shrank my Patagonia jacket. When I let them know they acted like it wasn’t their fault and did not care. I never went back and never will.

What’s not to like? Located near the heart of downtown San Mateo, Ching Lee Cleaners is a family owned business. They do a nice job with the cleaning and the prices are reasonable too. But I go there for the service. Jacque, who managers the cleaners, is warm, friendly and goes the extra mile towards good customer service.

I would recommend Ching Lee to anyone. Jackie is so friendly and seems to know every one of her customers by name. They always do a fantastic job and their prices are very reasonable. I tried using a cleaners closer to my home but wasn’t impressed and am so willing to drive a few extra miles for the terrific service. Make sure you bring cash because they don’t take credit cards.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Ching Lee since I moved to the peninsula in 1997. The laundry has been around since the turn of the century and has the best service bar-​none. Jackie (who runs the front w/​her father) is so warm and friendly, you actually look forward to dropping off and picking-​up your cleaning just to catch-​up.
