It is with mixed feelings that I provide this review. Tomi has been my housekeeper for almost two years. Up until some months ago, I was pleased with her service. Then a few things started happening: my own cleaning rags and supplies started disappearing (although she does bring her own to clean with); some things started not to be done. Then, she sends out a text that she is dropping all her clients because she has carpel tunnel syndrome, and has to have surgery. I started looking for a new housekeeper, but then she texts me and says she will stay on. Mysteriously, no surgery happened subsequently. She did have a surgery a bit ago, but it was for a completely different ailment. Then she started bringing her son to my house, which I did not give permission for him to be there and I only found out by stopping by one day on my way somewhere (I usually am not there when she cleans). I was taken aback, but overlooked it. After that, the quality of the cleaning was hit or miss. I asked her use a squeegee, and she said she did (but not on the mirrors), but it was obvious she had not. I often asked for a certain kind of furniture polish, which I provided, and that was hit or miss too. She often self-​disclosed way too much to my husband and me, making both of uncomfortable. I noticed after she disclosed some psychological issues to me, that my DSM (the psychological diagnosis book) was missing from my home office. I bought some sheet straps to hold down the fitted sheet as I have a pad on the bed, and at first she put it on the flat sheets (only using two — why are there four when it is clear what they are for) despite me leaving instructions. The next cleaning it happened again, despite me leaving more explicit instructions — and the last time, she just chucked the sheets with the straps on them (I put them on) into the washer — destroying them and losing one of them. I texted her inquiring how I could be more clear in my wishes, and she sent back a truly offensive and rude text. I then fired her via text — and AGAIN sending another text that was really rude (and some might say insubordinant since I am paying for her services). Well, I am just done. I had even given a couple of my friends her contact information (with her permission) to build her business — but I quickly let them know I DO NOT recommend her. Now I see what the other Unilocalers are talking about with regard to Tomi boarding the crazy train.

First off I found her off Unilocal.Every since I contacted Tomi the communication is great. Shes easy to talk to, friendly, and very good at what she does.
You can’t have a person just come to your house and clean away and expect the best job in the world. You have to get used to each other, it is almost like a relationship. We have been using her services for over a month now and she is getting better and better. She asks us if there is anything else or anything she missed and if she did she gets it done.
She brings her own things which is awesome cause I don’t have anything. And she explains what she is doing with certain things which I can also appreciate.
Sounds like the 2 negative reviews got a little personal. Personally we have a great relationship with Tomi. She gets along with our animals (dog and cat) and gets the job done.

The worst customer service ever!
I recently moved into a new apartment and needed a really good interior clean and a new theme for my new home. I recently had pulled my back out, and just doing everyday tasks were exhausting. I figured an interior designer would do the trick.
Neatfreaks has decent reviews so i went with them. When I called, the owner Tomi answered and made an appointment to see my place on a Monday (veterans day) at 3pm. The weekend passes and monday finally is here, I received a text message from Tomi explaining how she had family plans and she had to cancel on me. She asked me when i’d like to reschedule, I told her «Tuesday?». She declined and told me «Wednesday at 3:30pm would be best». I accepted and waited for Wednesday.
Wednesday at 2:45pm I receive another text from Tomi. She said she is finishing up at another job and won’t be able to make it until 5:00pm. Since I already had taken the afternoon off work this wasn’t a big deal, but this adjustment made me cancel a 5:00pm appointment with someone else. Tomi texts me again saying it will more likely be 530, 545. Really?!? Around 6:15pm, Tomi finally shows up to look at my place. We go over ideas and pricing. She tells me she has clients Thursday and Friday, and that she will shop Saturday and send me pictures through email and text to see if I approve or disapprove with her ideas. Then, on Sunday she will come by from 4−8pm, start and finish the job.
Sunday came, 4−8pm came and gone, no show on Tomi. I tried calling and texting for some type of confirmation, no answer.
Around Midnight!!! I get a 10 text message explanation that her husband fell in the shower and she was at the hospital. She never told me how she was going to reschedule or make it right for me. I contacted her the next day asking when she would be able to actually make a time, commit to it, and actually start and finish the job. She told me to go find someone else to do the job and that she was to busy for another client. I explained to her about proper costumer service and proper time management and told her to have a nice day.
later that night I got a voicemail from her HUSBAND asking me to stop harassing his wife and that she would not be doing my job anymore. He also, mentioned how Tomi told him I was in the military and that he figured he «out ranked me» and that I should «watch who I talk to and disrespect».
1.) If you make an appointment or promise a customer something, you honor and commit to it. If you some how can’t or forget to do this. Apologize and ask how to make it right with the customer. Please don’t forget that WE ARE PAYING YOU.
2.) Anyone that is in the military and tries to «muscle» there way around with there rank is a square and should really get some help. If you have a problem with someone then just man up and confront the person to get both sides of the story.
This lady is simply over her head and needs some type of assistant. If you don’t want your time wasted I suggest finding someone else for your interior design needs.

Be very careful who you let in your house… This lady is a bit much to handle…
We decided to let her know her services were no longer needed, to which she decided to board a crazy train and continue harassing me the next day via text and send my husband a copy of our conversation on our wedding day nevertheless… I never thought to review her on Unilocal until she threatened that I better not review her. I think her texts speak volumes to her character… beware.

I found Tomi Peacock on Unilocal.So, first Thank you to everyone who wrote a review. I have never felt so spoiled. Neat Freaks was my first house cleaning experience.
She explained everything they were doing, how they use different rags for each area of the house so there is no cross contamination. They Lysol everything on the way out (which I didn’t expect or need, but a nice touch, right?!), they also used a steamer for the flooring, which is great for killing bacteria. Her son was just a good as she was, very sweet guy and a hard worker.
My blinds were so gross, I hate cleaning blinds. I hadn’t cleaned the kitchen blinds in a year. I felt so horrible, but she cleaned them all and spent extra time on them. So refreshing and relaxing.
She even folded some sheets I had just threw on the bed from the dryer and put away my dishes. I didn’t expect that at all.
I woke up this morning feeling so good that my house was clean, top to bottom and thoroughly. My husband and I decided to bring them back once a month! I feel like a kid at Christmas.

Tomi with NeatFreaks did the move out cleaning for me recently for my apartment of 10+years. They did a fantastic job!!! Renters take note: without her help I NEVER would have gotten my full deposit back. Wonderful people, reasonable prices, and a pleasure to work with. I’ll be calling her again and highly recommend.

We have had a great experience with Tomi after 2 months. Communication, reliability and friendliness coupled coming home to a clean and tidy house is impossible to beat. Tomi brings her own products, and basically does anything that you ask of her, and even stuff you don’t ask of her! I recommend you get on her schedule before she fills it, you will be sorry!

Highly recommend this company. Quick fast and easy appointment — and the job was done wonderfully.
