I have been going here for 12years. My stylest is Stacy. I’m so lucky to have her and she’s been doing my haircut always. She listen to what you say and want, and she is very nice and sweet. I never had any problem there and with Stacy. She is excellent at what she does. She’s focus while doing your hair and talk little about how I’m doing, she’s doing. not junk, hate kind of talk. She makes you feel so relax and calm. She is a very beautiful person in and outside!!! She gets a lot appointments so make appointment when she is available. I recommend her highly!

I would recommend a great hairstylist Sarah who stayed over time to do my hair color. She is friendly and professional with a great knowledge on color. So glad I found her! Services are great and the feel of the salon is comfortable and relaxing! Great place to have your hair done

Tried this place out for the first time the other day and super lucked out! Marissa was amazing and I walked out feeling better than I have in such a long time about my cut and color. Everyone there was friendly, but Marissa was the best! I’ll definitely be back

I was visiting family and desperately needed a root touch up. I’m usually nervous to stray from my usual stylist, but on a whim I went to Marissa at Kiwi. She was awesome and my hair looks perfect! She’s very professional and friendly and makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend Marissa!

Let me take u back to when I first got there… my first time at Kiwi Salon, it was a fluke. I ended up seeing Jessica who cut about 12 inches off my hair. I LOVED IT! Although she was a little bit slow and talked a lot of crap about my previous hairstylist, I loved the hair. And in my opinion that’s all that really matters when u leave a salon (and pay hundreds of dollars). Second time, I called because I had an event to go to and needed something quick. Jessica was out so I asked if there was anyone else and they said, «yeah, Allison is available» and I asked if she was good and they said yes. So, I agreed. Worst mistake of my life. I left the salon that day with yellow, blue and wet hair. And not to mention, whip lash from how hard she was brushing my hair while blow drying it. I looked like a sad charger fan. I was in tears. I’ve never had anyone mess my hair up so bad. And then she walked off like she didn’t even realize what she did. You could tell Allison was irritated at the end of my appt. She was getting mad at the receptionist for booking her more clients. and she made that clear to me– her client. My hair has since fallen out and won’t make a recovery. It is in the worst shape I have ever seen and has gone from thick and volumous — to thin and barely there. My hairstylist now is doing the best she can to repair it but it, as of now, is unrepairable. I have never felt less confident, less feminine etc. EVER since Allison ruined my hair… And I’m sorry but someone who is that inexperienced and someone who can let you walk out the door with a smile on THEIR face while YOU ARE LITERALLY CRYING should not be a stylist. I couldn’t even make eye contact with people because I was so embarrassed. I never realized how important hair was until this happened. Not fair that because she didn’t know what she was doing, I’m stuck in this horrible situation for WHO KNOWS HOW MUCH LONGER! I have seen no improvement in my hair in 6 months. Allison is a nice girl who SHOULD NOT be behind the chair. She ruined my hair and my confidence. Even more hair has fallen out and broken off since. I regret ever going here. Take ur chances.

Took my daughter in for a trim, when we arrived it was a bit akward because everyone is in the back so we sat around for a bit and the front desk lady came out. Took our name and we waited. When we were called back Jessica was wonderful. She was engaging and took my daughter’s wants to heart. I thought it looked good. My daughter says it looked like a helmet. I guess what my daughter says goes… so we will be returning for a color job but so far just an OKAY experience. Nothing fabulous, but not the worst experience. It averages 50 bucks for her trim (short short hair) and she is only 14 so they charge A LOT for a teen with little hair. I walked out sixty bucks later (with tip) wondering if this was a good choice.

When I spend $ 200 at a salon (cut + highlights), I expect to get what I asked for. This did not happen. I specifically stated that I did NOT want any gold/​yellowish-​looking highlights in my hair, but that is precisely what I got. On top of it, some of the highlights framing my face turned a weird tone of orange after a few washes. The highlights were also placed so far from my head that they grew out in 3 weeks. BTW, while I was at the salon, in the chair next to me was a lady who had come back to try to fix the screwed up haircut and color she had gotten at this place. Her hairdresser seemed very dismissive and not apologetic at all. Not a good sign. Will not go back and do not recommend to anyone.

I just want to say that kiwi salon has always been a great experience for me everytime i go in there. Pleasant staff and clean salon. Im writing this post becuz i feel its always easy to complain but i feel for most its hard to give compliments. My normal hair specialist was off for the day, Brianna and she is a absolute delight and knows her craft and is amazing at what she does. I really needed to get in and it was last minute so the receptionist had suggested Jessica.
Jessica was absolutely amazing as well with her craft and professionalism. I was impressed and extremely happy with my haircut, color, and highlights. Its great to have 2 professional Haircut Stylist to choose from now. Thank you ladies and kiwi salon. You cannot go wrong with this salon! :)

I gave this salon 1 star for the willingness to fix a problem, however, I have to say once again I am disappointed with the quality of color that was done by Jessica. I took my daughter the first time to get her hair colored bright blue on the ends. We were in the salon the 1^st time for 4 hours to get the color done. When she was done you could barely see any blue color… it actually all washed off that same night! 170 bucks down the drain.
THEN when I called to let them know it all washed out they offered to redo it for free. Went back after Jessica talked her into trying purple instead to see if the purple would last. Purple washed out everytime she took a shower. Her hands continually stained purple (along with the shower walls and hair brushes). Yes the color did look good the first day, however, yesterday was the last day you could see any color. To go back a SECOND time to have the color last ONE WEEK!!! I am so mad I wasted my money! my daughter is bummed all the color is already gone! and I feel like we lost almost 7 hours total of our lives we can’t get back! I would not recommend to have Jessica do your hair. Atleast not for color. We will NOT be back!!!

Stacy is amazing! I have been comping here for two years and I will follow her anywhere! HaHa don’t leave Stacy! I have naturally curly hair and she cuts and colors it to perfection!

The location of this place couldn’t be any better– right across from Cal State with ample parking spaces. Tons of different hair products in the front, which is normal for salons. Water/​Coffee/​Tea station, too!
I’ve been here multiple times and have received an array of services– Hair cut (10+ inches off), color, up-do’s and just a trim. Never have I walked away disappointed. It’s always been an enjoyable experience. I always see Crystal, she does a wonderful job :)
My go to place. It should be yours, too!

Jessica is amazing! I get full hi lights and a cut and I always leave happy. Blonde hair isn’t easy but she makes it perfect every time! Professional, friendly, and doesn’t rush through anything!

I absolutely love this salon. Everyone is so nice and professional. I’ve had my hair done numerous time by Jessica and every time I leave, I leave a very happy girl. She took me from a brassy highlight to a beautiful all over blonde. I couldn’t be more satisfied. I get compliments on my hair daily. Jessica is amazing and really takes her time to help achieve what you want. I will be returning to her! :)

Jessica did well on highlighting my hair. I decided to go bold and go for blue. The consultation was quick and informative. Before the actual appointment, she communicated with me and discussed color options thoroughly. The salon was great at reminding me regarding my appointment. During the appointment, it was a comfortable experience. The staff was friendly and accommodation.
My final star would have been for some TVs in the salon and perhaps some special pricings? I guess I’m not used to salon prices anymore but perhaps having a rewards program for loyal customers would be amazing! :)
Overall, this spot is highly recommended by me.

I cannot stop looking at myself in the mirror! My haircut is soooooo cute. I did a walk-​in pretty much and had Pam cut my hair. I showed her a picture of the haircut I wanted and she dissected every detail of the hairdo I wanted. She even made it interactive in which she did cut the length I wanted initially and had me get a feel to see if the haircut was even and if that was the length I wanted. Pam was good about ensuring my decision and gave her input as a hairstylist. I do like she is truthful. I also like how receptive she was to all my concerns. Pam is very sweet and I would definitely have her again. As a result, I am getting compliments about my hair-​even from my parents who are quick to make a criticism!
Salon is very clean and the do other services like waxing. It seems as if they use good products for shampooing and styling your hair. Pam said that she would have anyone do her hair that works with her, which shows she works in a good environment and has reliable stylists.

I asked Sarah to highlight and trim my hair. She was so nice and professional and she did her best to me. I really liked it that she really wants her clients to be happy with their new hair. All of my family and friends really liked my new hair style. I think she is the best stylist ever! If you are looking for a professional, trustable stylist, I highly recommend you to see Sarah it Kiiwii Salon. She will turn your hair into a best possible one!

Way too expensive for what you get. $ 160 (including tax and tip) for a cut and all over color? I wanted my growing out blonde ends covered up, and asked for a color that comes closest to my natural which is dark blonde. I walked out with dark brown hair. Wasn’t happy with the cut either. It made my hair look thin and frizzy. I might have asked for the wrong cut, so it’s not necessarily the stylists fault, but I expect them to tell me that especially since I always ask my stylist for her opinion on whether the cut I want will work with my face shape and hair texture.
Out of the 3 times I have been here I only walked out happy once.
The other time I was really disappointed was when I said I wanted to go lighter and the stylist told me I couldn’t because it would destroy my hair.
Never going to this salon again!

I had high hopes when I went to Kiwi Salon for the very first time given the other great reviews. Everyone was very friendly and the salon was clean, but I was disappointed with the outcome of my hair… My hairstylist was very sweet and listened to what I had to say, except for when I mentioned that my hair doesn’t do well with a lot of product. Well, there was a lot of ‘slathering’ of product happening. Probably 10 minutes after I walked out of the salon, my hair became just as flat and greasy as when I walked in (my hair has body when freshly washed; and I didn’t wash my hair for 2 days prior to my appt.). There was also an instance where she dropped the brush on the floor, picked it up, and continued to use it while styling my hair. I always thought that was a big salon no-​no. It was a bit of a bummer because I consider a haircut and style to be more of a ‘treat’ to myself, so I felt kinda let down by the outcome. Needless to say… I ended up wearing my hair in a ponytail that night.

the girls are so welcoming and friendly… Every time that I have had an appointment, my stylist was on time and spent the time with me to get to know my wants. I highly recommend Kiwi Salon !
My husband also loves getting his hair done here as he says they give him a «neck massage» when he gets his hair washed:)

I love coming here! Everyone is very nice and helpful. I had Pam this time and she was very informative and gave me exactly what I wanted. Hair is so soft thanks to the power dose and a trim. Highly recommended
