2) Saturday Sept 10, 10:15am-5:00pm: Comprehensive Introduction to SoulCollage®. Similar to the above, plus a deeper, hands-​on exploration of all seven core elements of SoulCollage®. Taking an Introductory workshop is now a prerequisite for attending a SoulCollage® Facilitator Training. Cost: $ 80.

History

Established in 1988.

I began working as a psychologist in New England, and after three years in private practice in Zurich, Switzerland, moved to California and established a psychotherapy practice in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. In the early 1990s, I began eight years of specialized training and experience in couples therapy, while also coaching Silicon Valley executives, managers, and other professionals – finding meaningful overlap between the two arenas.

In 2005 I became certified as a coach, and worked with management clients in Los Angeles for three years before returning to my first California love, the SF Bay Area. In 2009, I trained as a SoulCollage® Facilitator and now give workshops and groups in this fun, profound blend of art and self-​awareness. I provide psychotherapy, counseling, and coaching to individuals, couples and families. In October 2014, I moved my office from Oakland to a beautiful building in north San Leandro.

Business Owner

One of my lifelong interests is the many unique ways to experience being alive. I find this in film, literature, all the arts, and in working with people. This is one reason I ask questions, stay in tune with your responses to what we’re doing, and choose from among many helpful modalities the ones that are right for you in particular, at any given moment in our work together.

The trajectory of our human growth, how we unfold over time into who we had it in us to be all along, is endlessly interesting. I am always inspired when people discover the deep goodness inside, even when it was hidden from them within some feeling (or thought or action) they at first did not like in themselves.

I’m touched by your courage to try out new ways of seeing yourself in the world and approaching problems. And I celebrate with you when your learning pays off and things start going well again – or better than ever. Most any problem can become a stepping stone to its own solution.
