Love this place! Esther is fast and very kind. The salon is beautifully decorated in a jungle theme, hand painted by an incredible artist. The toys and train table are a great distraction, in case you have to wait for your appointment(though we were always seen right on time). It’s expensive for a children’s haircut, but worth it for the entirely pleasant experience.

Love this salon! Both Esther and Connie are amazing with kids and family members alike! They have a great space for trains and toys, tv’s for the kids to watch and great all natural kids products for the entire family! Can’t say enough except for Tyler them out and you will not be disappointed!

My 15 month old got his haircut here. It couldn’t have gone better. He loved the car they get to sit in and they had a ton a toys to distract him. Will be going back for years to come!

My son is 2.5 years old and quite the handful. I’ve taken him to both this place and the Kids Cut place in Laguna Niguel. Here, we got a very even and excellent cut. His hair is fine and on the longer side. I love that it curls at the ends, but it can look frayed after a couple months. When I take him in to get it trimmed. not chopped… they always do exactly what I ask. I absolutely think it’s worth the $ 20 or so bucks and my son is entertained by the great distractions, plane seats and what not. This is the place for us and you should give it a try if you want a good haircut without too much distress from your child.

Just as the other reviewers mention, this place is way overpriced. I am willing to pay a little more for the convenience(walk-in/good location) but today I was charged $ 35 for a cut(with shampoo). I was expecting $ 20 — $ 25 or so. Not sure if they raised their prices recently because I had been there before but my daughter is only 10 years old. We left with her hair mostly wet in back. When I asked the stylist for a price sheet she told me they don’t have one. It makes me wonder if they charge whatever they feel like.

We are still taking our now 4 year old son to see Ester every 6 weeks. She is still THE best. It costs us $ 22, which isn’t cheap, but it’s worth it.

My daughter needed a simple bang trim, and this place looked cute so we stopped by. $ 25 for the trim and two months later, we are STILL waiting for the horrible hack job she got here to grow out. I could have trimmed them more evenly myself… blind-folded. We also didn’t care for the owner’s barking dog being present during our visit. Not a shop we will visit again.

This place is your standard South OC fancy-pants kids salon. It is a jungle theme which is cute. However the toys they have are a bit dated and old. They have no waiting area and little area for a stroller. They sell MANY fancy hair products and clips which are(no surprise) way over priced. They also sell TONS of lice products. I mean tons. Makes you kinda nervous! I have generally been able to get in quickly even without an appointment. The workers take their time which can be a good or bad thing. They really seem to want to give a good, long lasting, quality cut every time. I have been happy with the look of all my kids cuts here. Never a mistake. However you pay a hefty price. This place is expensive. No joke! Our family is from Long Beach and Kapa’a Kauai. We are not South OC folks we just ended up here. I do feel ripped off here every time. I know that I can find the one ‘good cutter’ at SuperCuts or some Local barber on the islands and get just as good of a cut for much less. MUCHLESS. We are now going to check out near by barbers to get more bang for our buck. Last but not least this place is friendly but not very homeschool friendly. If you come in midday with school age kids be prepared to get questioned. The questions can be nosy and intrusive. Although the cuts are quality you may consider skipping if you do not send your kids to a brick and mortar school. You are paying the big bucks for a great cut — not to be interrogated, right?

Took my 3 year old daughter here this morning for a much needed hair cut. Esther did a wonderful job. I had only been one other place to get her hair cut.(First cuts, at the MV Mall)…Wow what a difference. Kids Cuts is sooooo much better! I highly recommend!
