I’ve been so impressed with Twilight Productions. Been to several weddings that they’ve DJ’d and they are very versatile with their music and definitely cater towards their clients tastes.
Joe is great on the mic and the dance floor too, for example when Cupid Shuffle plays, he will get on the dance floor to demonstrate it in front of everyone to follow!
All in all, both are so fun and great to be around. Get ready to put your hands up and dance the night away!

This review is long overdue so I hope Joe & Thao will forgive me but what an awesome couple — one of our favorite vendors on our wedding day!
Joe & Thao were so friendly and approachable when I first met them to discuss DJ and MC services for our wedding. To be honest, I was dreading finding entertainment services because I did not even know where to start. After reading some great reviews and speaking to them, I felt confident Joe & Thao were going to deliver great services for our big day. So after meeting them and deciding to book Twilite Productions, I can say without a doubt that this was one of the best decisions we made. I especially appreciated the fact that they were so easy to work with and keep in contact with throughout the course of wedding planning.
Twilite Productions was very organized and really took care of everything for us: introductions, announcements, music, dancing, keeping timelines, and really, just getting everyone into a fun and festive mood for the night. They got everyone to dance, even our old Vietnamese relatives LOL. Honestly, it was such a fun night and I attribute a lot of that to Joe & Thao for creating such a great environment for everyone to enjoy. Oh, and they really want to make you happy and make sure to run questionable decisions by the bride just in case (like playing YMCA or any other songs you may not want to be played at your wedding HAHAH). We loved it though and all of our guests had such an amazing time!
Given the chance to do it a second time, I would not hesitate to book Twilite Productions again. Thank you Joe & Thao for your wonderful services!

Joe and Thao are hands down AMAZING!!! A big part of planning our wedding was wanting our guests to have a good time. Seriously we didn’t know how we could pull off a 400+ guests Vietnamese wedding. Our friends and family can’t stop talking about how packed the dance floor was. And I don’t think I ever seen a conga line that long especially at a Vietnamese wedding=D Colin, their assistant got the crowd pumped up and out of their seats by playing the cupid shuffle and the conga line song at the beginning of the dancing part. Joe even played a song by fav artist as the last song! A bride couldn’t be happier =D
Thao is the best in her organizational skills! Wedding planning is no joke and stressful as hec. They provided a questionare that made planning the reception a breeze. The questionare was helpful in making us think about some things we didn’t think about for our reception. We’ve met with a tons of vendors for your wedding and their questionare was more detailed compared to other vendors. That took a lot of stress off of us in planning our reception. Plus, they both were prompted in sending us our action items.
Joe always knows how to pump up the crowd! He even had my mom dancing with a foam stick=D. TP incorporated games into our reception to entertain our guests. The scavenger hunt was a hit, my dad really enjoyed it. We hired a vietnamese MC along with TP since more than half our guests are Vietnamese. Joe and our mc did not meet prior to our wedding, however I don’t think our guests would have been able to tell that they both have never worked together before. I remember a part during the reception where both had the mic, alternating MCing. It was so smooth, and they both seem to have worked really well together.
Prior to the wedding, my parents were really on the fence on having a DJ for our wedding. We really didn’t want a band or kareoke. As a compromise, we told them Vietnamese songs will be played during the wedding. TP provided us with the Vietnamese songs list and and entertaining our Vietnamese guests. After the reception, my parent’s said that had a lot of fun!
TP made our evening memorable not only to us but to our guests, we keep getting comments on how fun it was! From the planning process to the big night, call TP the smooth operator=D Consider TP for your next event!!!

Joe and Thao are great and very accommodating. They are very easy to talk to and are very responsive. They welcomed us into their home where they explained in detail what services they provide and answered all of our questions. We’ve been to other weddings that they have hosted and we really like how professional they are. After we decided to work with Twilite productions, they provided us with a great packet with top hits of the year, top mother son dance songs, top father daughter dance songs, top entrance songs and much more! The packet was very helpful during our process of choosing music. They provided a lot of other pointers as well since they have been doing events for a very long time.
The only thing that wasn’t perfect for us is the day of the wedding, out entrance song was not played as we planned. We had to rush to the dance floor and could not do the routine we had practiced. But it didn’t ruin the night for us. Everything else was great and our quests had a great time.
Thanks Twilite productions! We’d have you guys at our wedding again, but we plan to only get married once. =]

Twilite productions provided the music and emcee’d at our wedding. My wife and I could not be happier. What’s great is that Joe’s team does a lot of behind the scenes work with you as well — helping you with your wedding timeline, accommodating the type of music you want to be played during moments, and doing regular follow up with you to make sure things are finalized before the big day.
Many of our guest complimented us on the music that our DJ played during the wedding. They said, «Where did you find your DJ? I loved the music selection he played during the night. It made me want to dance.» This is always a good sign.

Joe and Thao were super accommodating and calming during our wedding. We had a lot of concern over the sound restrictions at our venue and they handled it with no problem. They even set up at two locations without any help. Our music selection was customized and they dealt with our last minute preparations with ease. We wished the day and music could’ve continued on throughout the night. Thanks for making it a truly memorable and perfectly ran event! Highly recommended! Hire them!

Joe and Thao are the BEST! We had Twilite Productions DJ our wedding back in March and our expectations we definitely surpassed! Their communication was second to none compared to other DJ’s that we were looking at. Whether it was through emails, texts, phone calls, or face-​to-​face meetings, they were more than willing/​accommodating to our schedule.
When we asked what types of songs they play, their response was «whatever you like, we’ll make it work». How awesome is that! If they didn’t have the song we liked, they got it and asked when we would like it played. We were stumped on which songs to choose for certain things during the wedding (mother-​son dance, different entrance songs, bouquet toss, cake cutting, ect) and Joe/​Thao were very helpful with suggestions. They even have a template that we were able to fill out that definitely helped us organize what we wanted.
Joe was a great MC for our reception! He’s a very good speaker, has the right charisma, and was very good at improvising when needed.
I’ve had guests come to me days, weeks after the wedding to ask me who the DJ was because they liked the music he played. He even had senior citizens trying to break dance on the dance floor! That’s definitely credit to how great of a job Twilite did at our wedding.
I would definitely hire Twilite Productions in the future and highly recommend them! Joe and Thao are awesome!

My partner and I are looking for a bilingual MC and twilite came up, with exceptional reviews. Unfortunately they’re booked on my date, but Joe did provide me with other contacts and even gave me an email so he could send me other options. What great customer service, hopefully we can use them another time but for now, being cordial and helpful even though we weren’t able to use them deserves 5 stars :)

We just had Twilite Productions DJ/​MC our wedding this past Friday and they were amazing! We’ve been to several weddings where they have serviced and they never disappoint. From the awesome music (your requests and current top 40), to MC’ing skills at the reception, even if you need lighting as well for the dance floor, Twilite Productions is as experienced as there is out there. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else, and I’ve referred them to many others over the past few years. If you’re looking for DJ wedding services, definitely check them out, and at the very least, have a meeting with them to know how much they can do for you.

Two years after I left my first post, we had the privilege of having Twilite Productions DJ our wedding. Just like fine wine, this dynamic duo got better with time! They were super thorough in the fact finding process which was a relief because my wife is a very detail oriented person. By the time we had our first sit down, we had a pretty solid idea of what song plays when.
Without a doubt, i’ll have them do my next wedding! =D

Had DJ Twilite help us bring in 2012 at the NYE party and I must admit, his music selection improves every time! He is pationate about his music. Simply put it, he seems to have the «it» factor when it comes to feeling out the audience and figuring out the genre that would make one shake their tail feathers. Two thumbs up, Facebook Like, my space «wink», Twilite FTW!

Joe and Thao are amazing. They are very professional, personal, and very easy to work with. We hired them for our wedding 12−13−14 and from the time I put the deposit down, they started emailing us to start the process. We had several meetings and it was very easy to figure everything out with our timeline of the wedding. On our wedding day, Joe and his assistant was very helpful, they helped with moving tables around, helped the photo booth people to set up and I’m sure they made it less stressful for my husband and I. I would recommend them for any of your events. I was so happy with their service and their prices were very reasonable.

My wife and I was looking to hire a DJ for our big day and we found Twilite productions on Unilocal so we decide to schedule an appointment to go from there.
In our first meeting, Joe and Thao ask us general questions on our wedding plans and gave us tips and advise. We were impress on how professional and knowledgable they were. Long story short we decided to hire Twilite productions to host our reception and wedding as a DJ and MC.
On the day of our wedding, everything was rushing and hectic but Joe keep the schedule in check. The ceremony went smoothly and keep everyone entertain during the reception. There music choices were spot on, everyone was dancing and having a good time. We are extremely satisfy with Twilite Productions and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a DJ. Hats off to this awesome duo! Joe and Thao were hired as the DJ’s and emcee’s for my best friend’s wedding. (Congrats Jeannie H. and Kenny Y.!)
Even with being on her third (???) trimester, Thao was so professional and took over the tables whenever her man had to do his groomsmen duty.
Joe and Thao are very accommodating with letting us pick songs and patiently waited as we changed and finalized our song choices. They even have this list of different timing/​events that songs should be played. I mean, I didn’t even know cake cutting needed its own song! The transition from one song to another was also seamless.
They’re so professional, organized, and super on top of things. Once, I came over to make sure they knew we were cutting out one of the games, they instantly reassured me they adjusted the timing on their itinerary. They truly helped decrease the stress factor that comes with weddings.

This past weekend, I got to work a wedding with Twilite Productions and I couldn’t have been happier. From the early stages of planning with Joe and Thao to the day of with Joe and Colin, it was great!
They helped achieve a fun, fluid, successful wedding for the bride and groom. Even through the delays in the schedule and other nuances that came up, they rolled with it and made it that much more successful.

My wife and I enlisted the services of Twilight Productions for our wedding… it was the best decision we made!
Long story short — in addition to being awesome DJ’s, they have so much experience that it made our entire planning process so much easier! Their business is well organized and their approach is extremely professional and efficient.
On the day of our wedding, they accommodated us in every aspect… let it be sudden song changes, time schedule changes, or even itinerary changes, it was never a problem. They showed up earlier than expected and proactively checked in with us to ensure everything was in order; you just don’t get this kind of professionalism and service anymore. I was truly impressed.
Their performance as DJ’s were also worth noting. You get to choose every song you want and they even proactively read/​gauge your audience to ensure they are having fun. I mentioned I wanted only hip-hop…but I guess they knew my audience better than I did. They sneaked in a few EDM and realized my guests enjoyed it more than my choice of hip-​hop. From their, they made a suggestion to switch over… and Voila!!! Even my older Asian relatives began dancing…

Joe & Thao were hired as our DJ’s for my best friend’s wedding. They did an absolutely amazing job! They were so fun and comfortable with the mic.
Also, behind the scenes they were professional and really easy to work with. They worked with us on picking songs for the bridesmaids to walk down the aisle to the first dance and cake cutting song. They are seasoned professionals and already had a list of songs to choose from, but you are also able to pick your own songs that are not listed! They need your timeline so they can plan accordingly, and they were flawless in their delivery. Great music, and overall a great team to keep the party going. We were glad we chose Joe & Thao, we danced our butts off at the end of the night. Thank you for making the night flow smoothly and providing us with an awesome time! :)

One of the best vendors we had for our wedding! After a long day, since we had a Tea Ceremony, and a ceremony at SCU not having to worry about anything at 6:00PM for the reception was great. We knew we were in good hands! Joe made sure that our reception went off without a hitch, making sure we stayed on the timeline.
The whole process from booking them, to getting the details down in phases was great. They played the music we requested during the reception, and gave them complete control during dancing. Everyone loved the music! They also created our slideshow and had it uploaded to Vimeo so it could be shared with family to view again.
Awesome job again, wouldn’t have been the same without Twilite!

Joe & Thao are the best! I’m so happy that Twilite Productions DJ-​ed our wedding! They are very professional and super thorough in preparing you for your big day. They have a comprehensive worksheet and resources that help you consider all the different details when it comes to your DJ and emcee needs for your wedding. They even did a site visit with us ahead of our wedding date to get familiar with the location.
Beyond their professionalism, attention to detail, and skills on the mic and on the decks, Joe & Thao are just so much fun to work with! I can’t recommend them enough. If you are looking for your wedding DJ, this is them!

After all said and done, We are so glad we hired Joe and Thao as our wedding DJ. They helped with some basic lay outs, and we provided an outline of songs we wanted based on his questionnaire. They set everything up on time and according to our askings. The sound quality and set up was flawless for both our ceremony and Reception. Joe jumped on the MIC and helped with intros, cake cutting etc.
Please spare yourself the worry and hire someone as professional as Twilite. I am so glad they made our special day one to remember.

We had DJ Twilite dj our new year eve party and we couldn’t ask for a better way to bring in the new year! Everyone was dancing and enjoying the awesome music till early in the morning. Joe was so easy and professional to work with.
