Calee did an amazing job on our wedding cupcakes! She is VERY creative, and she can do amazing things with her baking skills. I ordered tie-​dyed (rainbow) cupcakes, and our guests loved them. They love both the taste of the cupcakes and the very creative design of the cupcakes. Many of our guests wanted to know who made the cupcakes? They also wanted her contact information so I think our wedding might lead to some more business for her in the future!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Calee. I found her via Facebook about a year and a half ago. I browsed thru her pictures and decided I’d contact her about my mom’s birthday cake. April of last year I ordered a cake in the shape of a Jack Daniels bottle. Gave her the specifics of flavors and how many people I needed to feed. I picked it up the day before the party. It was a huge hit. My mom loved it, we had so many compliments on the cake it was crazy. We had leftover cake for days.
Since then I’ve ordered cupcakes for my birthday and a second birthday cake for my mom. Now I have my friends ordering from Calee as well. Everything she uses is fresh, never frozen. All is hand made with love in her own kitchen. This year I gave her a theme for my mom’s birthday and trusted her creativity to make some incredible. Gave her the specifics of flavors and numbers and left it to her to create. This ended up being the pink bunny slippers as seen in the photos. Again another hit. I didn’t know what she was making until the day I picked it up. I saved the surprise for my mom as well. As usual leftover cake we picked at for days.
The cupcakes for my birthday were chocolate cake with strawberry buttercream icing. Friends who went to dinner with us had rave reviews for the cupcakes, even though they weren’t a huge chocolate and strawberry fan.
I HIGHLY recommend Calee for any special occasion desert. Look at her pictures on fb or browse her website. I’m pretty sure she can do what you need. She is now the exclusive baker for my family. No more costco birthday cakes!

I found out about the Lark & Sparrow Baking company on Facebook when a friend posted a picture of a cake she had ordered for her mom– it was amazing. I «liked» the business page on facebook and began looking over all of the pictures of Calee’s special cakes and cupcakes. Being a «Cake Boss» fan, I was in heaven to see that we have our own Cake Boss here in San Jose.
Back in March of this year I ordered a cake for our Godson’s 5^th birthday– a car in the shape of Lightening McQueen and it was amazing– not only did it look very cool, but it tasted wonderful. Our Godson thought it was awesome– in fact he kept asking «this is really my cake?» over and over again… the cake was a huge success with all party people!
Then this past week was my mom’s 82 birthday and she was staying with us post-​hospital stay and I thought it would be cool to get her some custom cupcakes– so I emailed Calee to see if she could pull it off for a last minute order and she was very happy to put it together– so she made 6 cupcakes that sat in flower pots with roses on top of them– they were so cute and my mom thought they were just so clever– not to mention they tasted amazing… since my husband and I are on Weight Watchers– we split a cupcake and my mom has had two of them since Monday… there are three left… and I told my mom come Friday when my WW bank of points resets, I want another one… until then I keep taking a whiff of them– they smell so yummy!
