I came home from work to find that my downstairs tub had backed up and was not draining water. I called San Jose Drain and Main and quickly received a call back from Sam. After discussing the options with Sam, I made an appointment with them that same day. The issue was a bit more difficult to fix then I initially thought, but Giovani and Sam quickly found the solution and made sure that everything was fixed before they left. They also guaranteed their work for 90 days.
Giovani and Sam were both very professional, knowledgeable and courteous guys. The service was great and I would highly recommend them.

Five stars x2! The best! Awesome! Great personality! Forever keeps. Other plumbers charged 2−3x more for the job and told me my jack and jill shower was almost impossible to fix. These guys came with no hesitation and got the problem fixed fast. I’m a 100% satisfied costumer!

Sam and Giovani arrived and installed my new faucets while I was out running an errand and the husband was at home. I got home and saw that there were no plumbers there. They had them all installed that quickly!
I had to call him back because they were leaking and they came back within the day. The leak was because the inside of the faucet is damaged. I’m returning these faucets and will call them back to install new ones. Coincidentally we also had a main drain clog that needed to be cleared, which they did and charged me half of what another plumber did a few years back.
Side note: Very nice gentlemen too!

These guys were so professional, sweet, on time, and they also gave me a good deal. I didn’t have a plumber that I knew off hand so I used Unilocal and the reviews to find someone to put in a new water heater. Lets just say that if I ever need anything done in the future Drain & Main is the one!

My garbage disposal was jammed. Sam offered to help me diagnose the issue over the phone and walked me through how to unjam the garbage disposal. Thanks for your professional and free advice!
He told me I need to get a tool for this procedure, but he didn’t really mention what the tool was and I forgot to ask. I looked it up and the tool you need is basically an Allen wrench, but they make one just for food waste disposal called «insinkerator jam buster wrench». Sam helped me resolve my issue and I spent $ 7 at Home Depot instead of much more for hiring somebody to come look at it. I really appreciate his kindness and help!

If I could give 6 stars I would. Giovani and Sam went above and beyond and actually saved me from having to spend on replacement fixtures.

This review is for two excellent experiences that I had with San Jose Drain and Main over the last couple of days. On Friday, we woke to the surprise that our kitchen sink was clogged worse than a teenage kid’s pores. When copious amounts of Draino did nothing more than make the place stink I decided to call San Jose Drain and Main based on their Unilocal reviews.
They did not disappoint, rather they exceeded my expectations. Giovani and Sam showed up that same day and were professional and informative. After discovering that the pipes were all screwed up (thanks to the previous homeowner who liked to take on DIY projects without sufficient knowledge/​skill) they clearly stated my options and the pros and cons of each. I obviously opted to use them again to help with the new, more complex job of setting things right, and again they exceeded expectations when they came back on Monday.
They are hard-​working, honest, masters of their trade and if I ever come across another hacked-​up DIY plumbing project San Jose Drain and Main will be the only plumbers I call. Thanks so much guys!

We had a great experience with SJ Drain and Main. They came out within a couple of days of calling them and they were very professional and quick to resolve our issues. They explained the problem to us in detail and also informed us to call them if we ever have problems in the future with understanding plumbing issues they are happy to explain to us over the phone. They are very honest and the price is extremely reasonable. We will definitely be using them in the future with any plumbing issues.

My kitchen sink stopped up and stopped draining shortly after I moved into a new house. I was lucky enough to get referred to San Jose Drain and Main. Giovanni & Sam quickly arrived the next day to solve the problem. They identified and fixed the stopped drain very quickly and offered lots of helpful tips to avoid having to call them in the future. If I end up with any plumbing needs in the future, San Jose Drain and Main gets my first call!

Had a leak from my tub into my garage. Called one plumber up for a free estimate, and he was in and out in a few moments after quoting me $ 595 to fix the leak and $ 200 to assess an odor in another bathroom. He didn’t explain anything and I felt uneasy so I called Giovanni up and he came by the next day. After a quick assessment he explains exactly the issue and charged me $ 90 plus parts ($ 10) for the drain and troubleshot the odor for free.
Overall awesome guy and service, Giovanni showed up promptly with his partner. Was very professional, took his boots off before coming in, overall courteous and world class.
Lesson learned: if it’s important to you that your plumber uses a a classic pickup truck and a fleet of lifted Fords then be prepared to make a few lease payments for him. If you want an honest, knowledgable fair professional, go with Giovanni.

Had to do emergency duct tapping for the sink. Got a hold of Giovani some time after 4 and he was at my door, ready to repair, well under two hours. With such short notice, too!

Had a kitchen sink clog that needed taking care of. Main drain returned my call quickly and went out asap. They fixed the issue fast and gave a 90 day warrant on the repair.
