This review is only for the lounge/bar area as I came here for a Paint Nite. The location where we did paint nite itself was nice. The drinks was OK nothing special and they didn’t have much of a selection. The food looked like bar food but my friend did have dessert and she said it was good. The location is not very pleasing to the eyes and in a somewhat run down part of SJ near the airport. Walking to the RSVP44 I saw bedsheets and mattresses hung outside. I’m like«REALLY». what the heck. How lame and ghetto is this! No, I would not say here and glad was just here for paint nite.

Just don’t. .really…no. if you have taste buds that function and respect for your hard earned $…just say no. If you are staying at the hotel… venture out… this is NOT worth it.

Came to this restaurant for lunch during a wedding weekend visit to San Jose. It was great. The food was on point, there’s no wait, everything was fresh and hot. Had the chicken pasta and salmon. Would definitely come back. Really glad we could stay at the hotel for food instead of having to venture out

Great food, great people. I went there with large group for a PaintNite event. We will definitely go there again!

The atmosphere was actually really nice and the food was pretty good too, however the service was terrible. It took way to long to get service of any kind: our order taken, drinks, food. Obviously we were traveling and tired and the long dinner was a no go for us. Overall it was very disappointing.

I ate there when I stayed at the hotel. The service was great and the seafood pasta was even better! The sauce was like a tangy tomato sauce and it was bursting with flavor. The put alot of seafood and it was fresh. It was the BEST seafood pasta I have ever had and I plan to go back even if I am staying at the hotel. Good food, good service, and a nice restaurant.

Come to the bar and get a delicious Cadillac margarita. As far as the food is concerned, it is decidedly average. The prices are what can be expected but the food is meh. Great for if you want to get late night food in your pajamas. But beware, the bar closes at 10:45. Lame. O_o

Stayed at the hotel for a training the following day. We went into the bar for a few drinks. On Wednesday nights that have free beer for hotel guests from 4 – 6:30! Possibly wine too. Also free appetizers, which were just ok. Bar staff was awesome! Mike has to be one of the friendliest, best bartenders I have ever had! As far as hotel bars go, this one was great.

RSVP44 American Bar & Grill is directly inside the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel. If you walk in the front door to the hotel it’s on your left. There’s also a direct entrance to the lounge, but from the outside it wasn’t too obvious to me at first, especially since I parked in back. Went here for a Paint Nite recently, and it looked like a pretty comfortable place to eat and have a drink. Service was good, clean, and food wasn’t bad. The arrangement of the place is kind of odd, though. The main bar room is a little small and dark, with a TV, etc. Typical bar stuff. The room next door, however, is much nicer, bigger, and better lit. If you’re going to eat a proper meal or prefer a bit cleaner look, it’s a much better place to sit and have a drink. I just don’t know how often they open up the lounge part since I’d think the place is pretty dead most of the time. The hotel itself doesn’t look like anything to scream about, so I don’t know if you’d go there just for RSVP. But if you get stuck there, I’ve seen many worse hotel bars. FYI — there’s a small parking structure behind the hotel, which is probably the best choice since parking in front might be a little hard to come by sometimes.
