We offer wedding and on location session photography.

Our on location session photography includes, but is not limited to, newborns, kids, maternity, engagement, etc. Our goal is to make each session a comfortable and fun experience so you’re left leaving with a smile and feeling awesome! :)

We also specialize in wedding photography where we take a more photojournalist style to tell each couples unique story. We sit down before the wedding with each couple to get to know you so that from beginning to end it will all be a very personal experience. It’s a big day and we make sure it’s treated that way.

History

Established in 2009.

P.I.C. Photo began in 2009. But, let me back up a bit. In 2005 Christina Re & Shannon Somers began school at Brooks Institute of Photography. During that time they became really close and started working together on various school projects throughout the years. Upon graduating from Brooks Institute in 2008 both Christina & Shannon decided that with their combined creativity and skills they could be the best photo team ever. :) So in 2009 we did just that! And we now bring you P.I.C. Photo.

At this point, Shannon and Christina seem more like friends than hired photographers. This was our third time working with them, and it won’t be our last. They have been documenting our daughter’s life since I was pregnant. The most recent session was her Christmas shoot, at 18 months. They are extremely professional while also creating a stress-​free environment, which my husband and I appreciate, since we’re not naturally comfortable in front of the camera. Shannon and Christina direct the shoot in a fun and relaxing manner, and have always managed to capture beautiful photos. They are not only great at what they do, but they are also affordable and accommodating. We will be using them for as long as we live in the area. I highly recommend them!

Working with Shannon and Christina was an absolute pleasure! We used them for the first time this year when they met us at our home to take family portraits. Prior to meeting, they asked the names and ages of our children, and brought along a special treat for each of them, as well as our dog! They made our session very enjoyable to shoot — and the finished images were even better than I had imagined! We will definitely be using them again and recommend PIC Photo very highly!

PIC Photo are awesome! Shannon and Christina are so friendly. I had a last minute idea to give my mom her own photo shoot and they were fast, fun, and friendly with the entire experience.
They made it very fun and comfortable for my mom as she began to work the camera. Throughout the whole process from quote to photo delivery, they were always in contact with me every step of the way. Thanks to Pic Photo, my mom had a great experience and I remain the favored daughter ;D

We worked with Shannon and Christina on a newborn baby package. We were apprehensive about scheduling something as memorable as a photoshoot with an unpredictable newborn. The logistics needed for moving a newborn seemed overwhelming. PIC Photo was one of the studios that comes to your location. Initially we were skeptical about using our small place but they made it work perfectly.
Most importantly they are extremely flexible during the photoshoot. They worked around fussiness, hunger, and a baby bathroom accident. At no point during the shoot did they rush through the process or pressure us into anything. They were also great with our baby.
The pictures came quickly, as well as the final product. The hard copy the provided us with was of high quality. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

My husband and I, along with our dog took our maternity pictures with Shannon and Christina. And let me tell you, these ladies were awesome! Photography isn’t just a job for them. You can really tell these ladies were really passionate about what they do. They made us feel really comfortable and relax during the shoot. And they were also really patience with our dog. Most of all, our pictures were amazing and exactly what we wanted and more!

Shannon was so easy to work with. She was organized and stayed in close communication with us every step of the way, in preparation for our company holiday dinner. She arrived on time and worked the room to get the best candid and posed photos for our evening. When we received our final photos, they were beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. She even allowed us to keep the flash drive of the images. She made every detail beautiful, even framing one of the best photos for me and attaching it to the flash drive as a thank you. I would definitely recommend this business and would work with them again.

I found PIC photo on Unilocal when I was looking for a reasonable affordable, but a good photographer for our maternity photo session in the San Jose area. I reviewed their portfolio online and was pleased at what I saw so I emailed them. I got a response right away for a quote. Once I was able to pick one of their packages, which I thought were very reasonable. We soon booked a date for our photo session.
Shannon and Christina were very professional and fun to work with. It was our first photo session and they made us feel comfortable. They had really good suggestions and were open to our suggestions to capture some of the best photos. They had great props to use and not to mention they were also flexible during the photo session. The photos came out great my husband and I had a hard time picking our top photos. I have to say I am pleased and a satisfied customer. We will be using PIC photo for future photo sessions. Not only did they deliver such great photos but they are reasonably priced for their packages.

I am so thankful for stumbling across Shannon and Christina! We used them for both our family portrait session and for our daughter’s first birthday! We cannot be more happy with the photos! Shannon and Christina are super professional and very accommodating.
In regards to our family portraits, they not only guided us through it, they also listened to our ideas and made sure we were comfortable. They knew exactly what looked good and what did not. With a baby, they were able to get the perfect shots in a quick mannerly time while entertaining her at the same time!
In regards to our daughter’s first birthday, they captured every detail of the party along with all the guests. With the combination of Shannon and Christina’s visions, we were able to get all aspects of the party! They work so well together! I can look at the pictures over and over again!
I cannot say enough about PIC photo. We recommend her to everyone! Thank you again Shannon and Christina for providing us with these memories that we can have for a lifetime! We will def be seeing you both again soon! =)

We found PIC Photo online, We look through their portfolio and liked with we saw. We set an appointment with Shannon & Christina at Vasona Park for our very first Maternity/​Family photo session. We also have a 2yr old and photographing children is never an easy task. They were very patient and made it fun for her.
When we got our photos we loved them! They do an exceptional job. We loved them so much that we booked them for another family photos session when our new little buddle of joy arrived. Shannon & Christina are a great team and I look to booking future photo sessions with them!

These girls were awesome. We hired PIC Photo for our maternity pics — which turned out great. We had our two year old son with us which makes the photo session a bit challenging, but because Shannon and Christina planned the photo session well, the session and pics turned out great.

I have used Shannon & Christina for 3 photo shoots that I needed. The first one was about a year and a half ago, doing a Boudoir shoot. They made me feel so comfortable and uninhibited – exactly what you need when shooting something like that. Their photographs turned out so lovely and I couldn’t wait to use them again.
Then, remembering how much I love them, my (then) boyfriend decided to hire them for a photo shoot where he was planning on proposing to me. I had no idea, and again, their work turned out just phenomenally. They captured the moment perfectly– the look of surprise on my face, the nerves on his, and the private moment we had by ourselves when we thought no one was looking.
We then (obviously) planned on them shooting our wedding in two years, but when a family emergency came up and we needed to get married in 2 weeks, they were completely professional and willing to work with us on short notice to ensure that the moment was captured the way we wanted. They were prompt, professional, in tears during the ceremony (which to me shows that they actually care about their clients), and just amazing. When we have the big party and ceremony in 2 years, they will be there to document the whole thing.
Don’t look anywhere else for photographers. These women are amazing and will do the job perfectly.

Excellent photographers! I have had multiple photo shoots done with my two daughters and the pictures have turned out awesome. We’ve done holiday shoots, baby shoots and just random, for fun shoots. My girls love Shannon and Christina! They have so much fun taking the pictures and really make my girls feel comfortable. P.I.C. Photo did both of my sisters wedding photography and also my sisters maternity shoot. My sister even travels from out of state to have them do hers. I have heard nothing but good things from friends and family about how beautiful they are. Wouldn’t use anyone else for professional photography!

Wow, these ladies are amazing! Im a first timer for hiring a professional photographer and doing a shoot outside of a studio. To be honest I was kind of skeptical but wanted to do something different for my family Christmas pictures this year. P.I.C Photo definitely exceeded my expectations! They were super friendly and instantly made us comfortable. Mind you it was freezing cold out, plus we have a 6 year old and puppy to try to get to cooperate… Wasn’t the easiest thing but they were great with us! Also, the pictures were beautiful, literally almost brought a tear to my eyes. I’ve been using PIC Photo for a few years now, started using them for a large high scale party we had, they were fabulous, everyone loved them and their work. Two of my friends have used them too.
We also attended a wedding where PIC was the photographers, it was in Pismo Beach… it was stunning. The pictures turned out absolutely beautiful. I love their creativity. They’re easy to work with, flexible, on time and ready to work.
Last I used them for a private boudoir shoot. They were so respectful and made me look beautiful… what more can I ask. Love the two of them and would highly recommend for any event.
