I have been duped! Cleaners to you Doors (on Camden) is part of Mr. Moon’s chain. Had I known I would never had visited another place owned by a man who runs a shady business. They ruined my one of a kind dress and will ruin yours if you dare take your clothes here.
Warning: STAY AWAY!

I can see why the ratings are so low on the dry cleaning business. The service is always terrible. I think they hire a new person everyday because no one every seems to know what they are doing. Most of the time the items come out clean.

I went there to dry clean a down jacket and when i got it back there was a large hole in it! i told the store workers there and they told me they would tell their manager and contact me back. but i never heard from them. I went back 3 times to resolve the issue but each time they didn’t do anything because they said their manager wasn’t there (even though they told me that their manager would be there at that time). I just found that the employees were incompetent and it was very frustrating. It was my first and last visit there.

I arrived tonight at 8:02 pm exactly (I know this because I looked at my watch), not knowing if they were open… but hooray! Their big neon OPEN sign was on! I walked up to the door and it was locked. The lady behind the counter looked up and mouthed «we are closed» and I mouthed back «your sign says open» and she again mouthed «we’re closed» with apparently no empathy or concern.
Here is a CUSTOMER SERVICE 101 tip for you, Moon’s cleaners. When your big neon OPEN sign is lit up and a customer shows up 2 minutes past your closing time, you let her in and let her pay you your exorbitant prices to get her clothes.
Time to find a new dry cleaner.

I went in to pick up my dry cleaning and the girl behind the desk did not listen to me. They closed one cash register and asked me if I would wait while they counted the money; I said no. Then a man with a dozen shirts comes in and they wait on him. While they pushed me aside. I left very unhappy with their service.
I went back in later to pick up my drycleaning. I told them why I wasn’t happy. They said that the register system was closed for both registers and that it was not necessary for drop-​offs but it is necessary for pick-​ups.

I would not come back here and it breaks my heart to say that because I ve been a customer for so long! I took my dress into moon cleaners and it came back destroyed. It had a polka dot mesh top that was completely ruined. To top it all off, they claimed that the problem was not with what they had done, but the manufacturing company of my dress! Zero responsibility taken. It was «cheaply made» they say. Seriously??? No value for customer service or quality. I hate to do this but DONT EVER COME HERE. If they had any sort of value for their customers I truly feel they should have handled it differently. I am so upset!

Worst cleaners ever!!! 3 very expensive items ruined and they tell me it’s moths eating my shirt and sweat that destroyed my husbands shirt. Seriously I’m insulted and will NEVER go back!!! If you don’t want to replace new clothing run from this place. I’m out 350.00 in 2 months.

Extremely unhappy with Moons new management. not only have they discontinued their pick up and delivery service, which I used EVERY week. Now they have also discontinued their hanger recycle return policy, offering no incentive to return their hangers. Today after picking up my clothes they informed me their laundry service is now going from 2.70 per item to 6.15 per item. Almost 3 times the cost. I give them 80 $ a week in business. Now they get zero. Will never go back.

STAY AWAY!!! Seriously.
Their prices keep changing FOR THE SAME ITEM I TAKE IN THERE!!!
Their alterations quote is WAY WAY over priced.
They do dry clean stuff pretty quickly, but I wonder just how thorough of a job their doing, if they can turn it around so fast.
Also, they promise they will have an item finished within a few days, but then when you go down there to pick it up, it’s never ready… no call, no notice, no nothing.
Actually, I’m thankful they are so horrible, because I went across the street to Nice Cleaners, and I am sooooo happy.

This place has gone downhill big time. I took 5 suit jackets to them and I got them all back shrunk down to nothing. I could not believe what they did. I went back and told the girl that works there and all she did was give me a smirk and shrug her shoulders like who cares. Two of my girlfriends who buy their clothes at Nordstrom said they have had clothes (lost) there. Absolute worse service I will never go back!!!

Maybe they thought when I requested no double creases I really meant extra double creases? Absolutely ridiculous. It’s what happens when a business shifts it’s focus from quality to quantity. Stay away from this place. It has gone downhill… in a fiery crash.

I wish I didn’t have to even give a star!
This place is horrible, prices are off the walls for no reason they don’t even clean your clothes. Picked up my clothes today and paid $ 50 for 4 items and was not even cleaned, never going back!
Also While I was in line two people ahead of me were waiting for managers because there clothes were lost and one ladies jacket was caught on fire?

I have been a customer here for probably 15 or more years. No lost or damaged clothes and generally pleased with the services. However in past 3 months or so service has degraded. The weekly pickup and drop off service was discontinued without notice and I had to go to another store to get my shirts after going into Branham and being told pickup service discontinued. Last week I went in about 8:15 am and it took almost 30 minutes for them to find my shirts. The store had just opened (even though sign says 6:30 am opening), they could not process credit cards, and the store looked almost stripped of fixtures. At this point I will be looking for a new dry cleaner

I called the other day to see why my pick and delivery bag was not returned. It seems that they have cancelled the delivery service. There was no notice given. They were also very expensive.
I am looking for another cleaner.

Worst service ever very expensive have been dealing with lost clothes and high prices for 3 years due to the pick up service they offered.
THEY STOPPED WITH NO NOTICE SAYING OH WE THOUGHT WE SENT YOU AN EMAIL!

These people will steal your clothes. They don’t care about trying to even talk about it. They seem to hire an endless stream of staff but do not let them actually resolve anything.
The owners apparently don’t even let their own employees talk to them.
I’m down by a $ 250 shirt right now (disappeared two months ago when they had it for cleaning). Since then, it’s been «located’ several times by internal staff and yet still never delivered. Moon’s systems show that it’s still with them and yet they can’t now find it.
I asked them to replace it (shirt is actually available on sale right now) and yet they can’t even contact their own management.
If you only want to wear your clothes once and then throw them away, by all means use these guys, otherwise, I suggest you go elsewhere.
They don’t care about providing a service — they don’t listen to instructions («no starch» for example) — they damage items (buttons on shirt gone) — they steal your clothes.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

DO NOT GO HERE– (Branham location) my first time here and they lost/​damaged one of my banana republic shirts. It has been over a month of me calling, writing emails and still no resolution. Constant run around. The manager happens to never be around, at anytime of the day. I have sent several emails to bay area companies to have their employees not go here! If my item was lost/​damaged, I want to be told and move on.
I would not recommend this place to anyone! Please forward on to as many people as you can! I will admit it’s my fault that I didn’t read the reviews, before coming in, lesson learned on my end. WORST BUSINESS and CUSTOMER SERVICE in San Jose.

I would like to THANK YOU personally for sending me into the loving arms of Nice Cleaners right across the street from you!!! Anyone reading this and trying to decide where to take your clothes… forget Moons Cleaners and cross the street to behind the post office to Nice Cleaners… VERY APPROPRIATE name
Mr Moon I have left you at least 20 messages with your employees and have yet to hear from you. Apparently you do not need my business… by the way, I would consider myself a great customer considering the fact that I spent on average of $ 140.00 a month at your establishment for the past 3 years… yep…and guess what… my only thought has to be… you don’t care… or you would have called me by now!
I have given you plenty of time to handle this and make me feel like the valuable customer I WAS but since my gripe with you goes back to May and I have yet to hear any news from you or your employees… you have done a SPECTACULAR job of sending business to your competitor!
In May I brought my regular clothes for cleaning PLUS 2 new pieces of clothing I had just purchased. One was a sweater from Nordstrom’s and the other was a jacket from Macy’s. I had left the tags on both garments not even thinking about the possibilities of that poor decision. I had had good service and felt comfortable with your employees, so when I was given a separate tag to have those 2 pieces pressed only I didn’t think anything about discarding the receipts.
A few days later I went to pick up my garments and was excited about wearing the new jacket… your employee told me I never brought them in and then after looking at my account longer, back tracked and told me I had picked them up already and to look in my closet. REALLY? I told her I had not picked them up yet… they had them… and where were they… so I’m not going to bore anyone with all the stuff I did to try and get someone to listen and help… BUT…here’s the deal I wasn’t even being unreasonable… I told every clerk there… tell Mr Moon if he would give me dry cleaning credit for the lost garments I would be fine with that.
So…here it is September… I am at home… I finally have a few moments to finally ONE STAR Unilocal you and if I could give you –2000 stars, I would.

Well, I say 3 stars!
I read quite a few reviews, much to my dismay some rather scalding.
Yet, a tailor down the road recommended this place.
The next day, somehow I was next door at Sprouts, so I thought I’d pop in and check out the customer service and the shop.
People seemed courteous and the shop looked ok. Heck, the owner has the huevo’s to put his face on his company van and the van is bright orange. I’ll give them a shot.
For each trouser, it’s $ 6.75 to dry clean with next day service! ready by 5 pm.
My trousers were ready when they said so and they look clean and neatly pressed.
You get what you pay for.
Customer service: fine.
Parking: fine.

Since the clothes debaucle, I think Moons has completely written me off. They put me on a new route for delivery, and I received notification emails after pick up schedules, on different days and I GIVE UP!
They do such a good job, I’ll most likely continue to use their in-​store service option and tell the delivery program to pound sand.
Grrrr. Stop selling a service that you can’t «DELIVER» on. See what I did there?
Dear Clothes,
It’s been 9 days since you were picked up from my doorstop and I have not heard from you since.
Ahh,. there are holidays involved, I’m grateful Moon’s Best sent out the notification email AFTER you were picked up, telling me you’d be delayed in return return. Clearly I’d have gone to the store knowing it would be several days…
The delayed date has come and gone, and you are still not with me. I’ve called their stores, and apparently the driver from my route was sick on my postponed Friday delivery date. They told me they were going to send out an email, but they didn’t. The Hamilton store says they have you and will send you to the Branham location by the end of day today, I can’t wait to see you!
I’m forlorn, and have no clean clothes. There are holes in my shirts, and they’ve lost that loving feeling. I need you… shirts… I stopped by the Branham location today, they have no idea where you are. «Useless Kevin» kept walking around the storefront with his hands in his pockets looking at the artwork and kept returning, «sorry they aren’t here.» He called the Hamilton store, BECAUSE I TOLD HIM TO, and he talked to them and said words like «shit» more than once. I think I’ve irritated him, in fact I told him he has been useless. He says he’ll call me by 4P with an update, but we all know that’s not going to happen.
It’s upsetting after spending thousands of dollars over 3 DECADES of using Moons that I’d feel this bugged about them, and not cared for at all. The staff seems young, immature and borderline useless. Unprofessional, swearing in front of customers, etc.
With Moon’s Best innovative way of doing business, they should be able to look up my order and tell immediately, where the clothes are, especially after 9 days. This is unreasonable.
Can someone other than Kevin please help find my clothes!!!
Where’s the owner? man that guy cared about every customer.
