Ron Griggs has been working with commercial photographers, newspapers and many studios throughout the bay area. While shooting commercial work Ron has always photographed weddings and started building a strong customer base early on. Now Mirror Image Photography has been photographing weddings successfully in the San Francisco and San Jose areas with quality products and most of all great customer satisfaction.

Ron Griggs and his assistant Frank was absolutely amazing and so professional while shooting our wedding. He was on time and ready to go. When we first started the interviewing processing to find a photographer Ron was our first. As my husband and I were walking to the car we knew we were going to go with him. The vibe we both got was awesome and knew this was our best bet. We did interview with other photographers but compared them to Ron and never left with the same feeling. He rocked out all our photos prior to the ceremony so we could have more time at the reception. He was fun, had a great attitude and was just all around awesome. We got a little sneak peek at some of our photos and they were AMAZING!!! Can’t wait to see them all. Thank you Ron at Mirror Image Photography, you are the MAN!!! I hope to work with you again in the future. Possibly when a baby Augsburger is on the way.

If you are looking for photographers that will capture every beautiful moment of your wedding day, in the highest quality photos, I recommend Mirror Image Photography. Ron Griggs and his assistant, Jamie, are professional, knowledgeable, and talented. They were the best photographers to hire for our wedding and engagement photos, hands down!
I met and spoke with Ron many times over the course of our 1 year engagement. He was open to ideas, made sure it was cost efficient, and went above and beyond to deliver beautiful photos. He was always available to speak with if I had questions about the actual photos, times, lighting, etc. He was open and honest about what he thought our budget could afford, what we could skip, and what we would should spend on.
I priced and interviewed other photographers and it was very clear that Ron was the most forth coming and honest of them all. He brought an abundance of photos of other weddings he had done over the duration of his long career, which proved to us that he knew what he was doing. All of the photos were beautiful.
To top it all off Ron even offered to refer other vendors he knew to us and helped answer questions about wedding services that were not photo related! I felt like I was dealing with a family friend when dealing with Ron.
On our wedding day, Ron and Jamie made sure to capture every member of our family in photos with us and reminded us which pictures we were missing the day of the wedding. He reassured me that we would have all the photos I requested and we did.
After our wedding, while we were still on our honeymoon, Ron sent me sneak peak photos of the wedding! By the time I was back the photos were ready.
I cannot thank Ron and Jamie enough for a job well done. We were blessed with beautiful pictures that captured the beauty and emotion of our wedding that we will cherish the rest of our lives. :)

Ron Griggs and his assistant Jamie did a phenomenal job capturing all the big, special, and in-​between moments of our wedding day! They knew exactly what they were doing, and worked well with the location and lighting. Also, Ron and our DJ were always on the same page as far as timing and preparation. Also, Ron did a fantastic job at working with our other vendors as well, and made sure his job was getting done, without interfering with anyone else’s job. As we were interviewing many different photographers, the one thing that immediately stood out to me was obviously the quality of Ron’s work, but more so it hardly ever, and I mean maybe a handful at most, saw pictures with other vendors in the background (ie: videographers, dj’s, event staff, etc.)
My bridesmaids were wearing lapis, the darkest purple possible, and my husband and I were worried that the dresses would look blue in the photos as they had in every photo we took prior to the wedding. However, Ron and Jamie gave a wonderful surprise as the color came out beautifully, and they were even more noticeably purple than in person! This is a good thing! Ron did check in with me and my husband throughout the night, but other than that, during the ceremony and reception I NEVER NOTICED THEM. this was the «icing on the cake», for lack of a better term! Everything Ron and Jamie did helped make our wedding all the more memorable and special. His communication through the whole process leading up to and including the wedding, his turn around time, his knowledge, skills, and ability to work with us on what we wanted surpasses any other vendor we had. As my husband and I were talking about the wedding later that evening, we both said we made the right decision about choosing Mirror Image Photography to capture the day and would not have wanted anyone else.

Ron did such an amazing job at our wedding. He was right on time, very professional, and took literally hundreds (like over 700. No joke!) of beautiful pictures. He was also fast in getting the edited and color corrected images back to us.
I would not hesitate to hire Ron again for another event, or recommend Mirror Image Photography to anybody in need of a quality photographer!

Ron Griggs was absolutely wonderful and professional. He was right where I needed him before I even knew it. He got a few pictures that I am grateful to him for. One is of my niece smiling naturally, which has been impossible for any of us to get a picture of most of her childhood. Another is of my father acting like his goofy self. Among many other photos that were beautiful. I have one picture where the second photographer got a snap of Ron (Turk-​790) and we have that one circulating around as a «where’s Waldo (Ron)» gag in the family. They both were very helpful, accommodating, and quick on the trigger. I will forever be thankful to Ron and his friend photographer for the wonderful job they did.
I could not recommend anyone else due to how wonderful Ron and his staff are. Remember when you give him a schedule he will stick to it and get every picture your heart desires.

I was looking for a photographer for my wedding. This was a second wedding for both my husband and I, and we knew we wanted to focus on family. I searched for what seemed like forever to find a photographer who understood our vision. I saw a review of Ron and Mirror Image Photography on Unilocal!and decided to contact him. He was very quick in responding, and set up a meeting with my fiancé and I. We felt very comfortable with him, and he spent a lot of time making sure he understood what types of photos we wanted, and that we wanted to focus on family. He also had several packages available, and has beautiful photo albums available as part of the packages. Hearing our ideas, Ron actually suggested that he bring on another photographer, Frank, so that there could be more coverage, and so that Frank could start taking pictures at the reception while we finished pictures after the wedding at the church. The photography was absolutely stunning! Frank and Ron are two consummate experts. They were unobtrusive and always got the shot — both candid as well as posed. The prices was very good, and it was worth every cent. I am so grateful to Ron for having the vision that we needed two photographers since we were moving from the church to another location for the reception. Ron and Frank have years of experience and have an incredible eye for taking photos that will be cherished the rest of our lives. I cannot recommend Mirror Image Photography enough — Ron is incredible!

Ron worked with me and my husband for our wedding on June 30th, 2012 and he and his assistant did an amazing job! We had tons of shots to choose from and he knew the surrounding area of where we got married really well so he knew a cool place where we got some nice romantic shots for our portraits. We can’t wait to see our photo album all put together, but I’m very happy with the shots I received.

We had a great time shooting our engagement pictures with Ron at Carmel. I don’t know much about pictures but I researched more about location, lighting and what makes good engagement photos. I learned from all the readings that the photographer really has a good eye on lighting, venues, poses and other ideas on what makes people look great on pictures. I trusted his suggestion on Carmel. Greg & I weren’t big on photoshoots and were quite lost on how to «pose and smile» but Ron guided us through the process, telling us what to do like keep walking, stop, smile, look at each other, kiss, etc… and the pictures looked very natural. The best part was the sunset where we stayed longer at the beach just to get those 2 lovely shots. They turned out better than we expected. We received a lot of good comments and are so thrilled that we will cherish that moment and treasure all these pictures forever. Thank you Ron. It is my wish that every couple will have that amazing experience we had with you. God bless and more power to you!

Working with Ron was such a pleasure! My husband and I liked him the moment we met him and instantly knew he would be shooting our wedding. He is very professional, easy going, takes amazing photos, and was very punctual. His prices are extremely affordable and the best we came across. He is flexible and accomodating with his time. During the wedding I hardly noticed he was there and only occasionally heard the click of the camera. If I saw a «photo moment» all I had to do was say his name and he was shooting before even turning around. Ron makes you completly relaxed and has you having FUN with your «bridesmaids/​groomsmen». The portraits of the bride/​groom were priceless. I had several compliments from the guests during the entire wedding/​reception. I have ordered my professional prints from Ron and they are beautiful! I highly recommend Ron Griggs to be your wedding photographer!

Jeremy and I had such a great wedding day with Ron and his assistant, Frank. There are lots of things going on from early morning and your mind is just too busy. Ron made us feel calm and relaxed and it shows on all our pictures. We were supposed to go to the winery for outdoor pictures after the restaurant reception. It was raining and we had to change our plans. Ron found a lnice garden next to our hotel and also black umbrellas to match with our outfit. Those pictures came out as nice as the wedding pictures. I highly recommend him!

We were referred to Mirror Image Wedding Photography and we were so glad we went with them. Ron was very easy to work with and his past experience shooting at the Freedom Hall and Gardens helped put us at ease. He kept great communication with us leading up to the wedding and walked us through the day’s events and his plans. Even though we were at first hesitant, we are really glad we listened to his advice of taking most of the photos before the ceremony (6:30pm start in September). That gave us plenty of sunlight for him to work with. From getting dressed, to the ceremony, to the reception, Ron and his second photographer, Rona, were a pleasure to work with. Having two photographers made for different perspectives for the wedding party shots and allowed them to capture different moments throughout the reception hall. After the wedding, Ron kept to his contract and time lines, creating a preview website shortly after the wedding and delivering the high resolution DVDs only ONE MONTH after the ceremony! We were very happy with how the photos turned out. Since we were on a budget, we chose a photographer based upon quality and value and Ron delivered. Our package included two photographers for 8 hours, a custom album, numerous large prints, and the ability to keep the high resolution digital negatives all for a great price. There was even a mix-​up with the custom album, but Ron provided great service and worked with the album vendor to make it right. We would definitely recommend Ron and Mirror Image Photography to any couple needing a wedding photographer in the Bay Area.

Ron Griggs did a great and very professional job with our wedding. First, we did a December engagement session on the beach in Carmel with our dog. It was absolutely perfect. I had no idea Ron was so skilled at taking photos of dogs when we hired him! He knew exactly where to go and had some great ideas for very creative shots. Best of all, it was fun.
For the wedding, Ron met with us several times for planning, and had fantastic suggestions on what times of day to get the best shots. He is also very familiar with the area where we got married (Gilroy) and suggested a beautiful garden in which to take our pre-​wedding pictures. He met us early at the hotel and stayed with us all day, paying close attention to our needs to make sure we captured EVERYTHING! We have both great family photos and great action shots.
Ron also brought business cards with our wedding photo website printed on them for our guests, so everyone left knowing where they could find the wedding pictures as soon as they were up – a nice touch!

I absolutely loved working with Ron, and his assistant Ronda, on my wedding day. He was delightful and easy-​going from the first phone call, his rates are completely affordable, and he is flexible and accommodating in every way.
Once we met him, he showed us some of his albums, assured us that he would be able to deal with our large, red-​neck, children-​filled families, and we knew that he would be perfect. We had around 200 people at our wedding in San Francisco, so he suggested two photographers, and I’m so glad he did. If it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t be able to look back on every detail of our amazing wedding over and over again. They were very friendly, and all of our family members commented on their friendliness, professionalism, patience, and talent.
I will definitely update once we get our album, but so far so GREAT. 100% recommending them!

Ron Griggs is a wonderful. My mother came across his company, Mirror Image Photography, through a Google search when she was looking for a photographer for my wedding. After calling many companies Ron was the only one with a great first impression over the phone. He had also taken his time to meet with me to show me samples of his work, talk about his ideas and style of photography. One of the reasons I choose Ron was that he mentioned he liked to capture memories with candid photos and that’s exactly what I wanted. After meeting him for the first time I knew there would be nothing to worry about (as a bride that’s a huge weight lifted). He also spent time with me on helping to create a timeline and figuring out exactly what type of photos I’d hoped for. They day of Ron had another photographer, Rona, who was also amazing. The wedding day had gone by so quickly but being able to look back at all the pictures allows me to see my story they recreated for me. While Ron and Rona very professional and took their work seriously they are also very easy to work with and have great personalities. My strongest recommendation if you choose Ron to photograph your event is to purchase the flush mount photo album — it’s a must have. This album is incredible! After the event Ron will work closely with you in choosing prints for your albums. As I did have many requests and changes he was very patient with me from start to finish and really listened to what I wanted. Overall, I am very satisfied with Ron and highly recommend Mirror Image Photography.

They say the wedding photographer you choose is one of the most important decisions that you make during the wedding planning process and I cannot agree more. I feel fortunate to say that I absolutely loved and trusted my photographer! Ron has a true talent and passion for photography.
