A public defendant would have been a better option. I talked to a guy named Christian on the phone, seemed like they were professional and knowledgeable. It is very frustrating as a client who is paying for a legal matter, to be assigned random attorneys to handle your case and start to read your file while you’re meeting them in court. I was originally signed up with attorney Patrick, then some guy Tim, and lastly another guy whose name I didn’t even get as when the hearing came, I didn’t even know he was representing me.
Unfortunately, I didn’t do my research prior. Save your money, do not go through them. I technically only paid them to say my name in court and select a court date. Will not use or recommend this firm.

Going to court is usually stressful, but having a good attorney makes all the difference. I worked with Rastin Ashtiani, who was extremely knowledgeable and put my mind at ease in the courtroom. He gave me great advice from start to finish and was able to get my case dismissed. Everyone in their office goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied, and I can’t thank them enough for all of their efforts. They also happen to be incredibly affordable. So, the case is finally closed. I used them in May, 2010 and my experience with the Law Offices of Earl Carter was first-rate. I will say that the number one thing that puts them apart if that they actually CARE (which is more than what 99% of other law firms do).
From preparation to the court date, I was given intelligent, helpful
advice that would help me get through the ordeal quickly and
without complications. I did some research prior to my visit and my price was reasonable as they keep prices low because they have minimal overhead which is always very good.
They are experienced, thorough, very professional and most of all Affordable!
