Kpan 76 Service

I asked about patching a tire and instead of coming out to look at it, the clerk told me to bring it inside. Strike 1. I was already regretting my decision. He then called over a mechanic who proceeded to patch the tire without even telling me how much it would be. Strike 2. He then quoted me a price double what I’ve always had my tires patched in the past. Strike 3. I was able to talk him down to match the price and after he repeated it 5 times and gave me a dirty look and spoke in a different language to the clerk (presumably about how «cheap» I am), he said ok. Only took him half an hour to patch it when it normally takes all of 5 – 10 minutes. Never coming back. Was in a pinch which is why I stayed after all the strikes but I learned my lesson!

I go here for my oil change and every time I do, they always say that there is something wrong with my car (mind you that every time they tell me something is wrong, it’s always different)

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place entirely. The people that repair the cars look shady. I’m pretty sure I was conned into getting work done that I didn’t actually need by them telling me that it’s dangerous. Also, I recently went there to have them check my battery. They said it was OK but not long after I had to get a new battery. I would not even take my car there to get smogged. These people and the owner are greedy and don’t care if they take advantage of someone. They’re just out to make money and don’t care how they get it. MY RATING IS NO STARS.

These guys are full of it. I got my oil change there two weeks ago and went to the normal mechanic I go to and he said I needed an oil change because the oil looked as if it was long over due. These guys are a rip off. They try and tell you that you need breaks, shocks, belts ect. Do not go to this place unless you’re just getting gas. This place is terrible and I don’t even think they do what they say.

This is ur standard gas station which is a privately owned corporate entity. Gas isn’t cheap here but then, what gas is? I have used the mechanic to change my oil when I had a coupon for 29.99. They did the job though it took awhile.
The inside shop sells candy and snacks and drinks. The pumps work well… At least they have when I’ve used them.
The clerks are friendly enough but not overly so.
They lock the bathroom and claim it’s outta order probably cause they don’t want to clean it or pay for the water and electricity customers use… Just an assumption. I know, but it’s a common practice for these kind of stations owned by those with a different perspective than mine.

I got a coupon from the Pennysaver for a $ 3 carwash. It was a good wash.
A guy prepped my car as I entered, which was nice. I didn’t try any other services, so can’t compare the other Unilocaler’s bad experiences. The wash did go up to $ 5 the last time I was there, but it is still a good value.

This place tries high pressure sales tactics on brake service that is a HOAX. Don’t let these scam artists take your money. The owner is a total asshole too.
I am a mechanic and after my smog the guy tells me my front rotors are bad. I said ok show me. I looked at them just for hell of it as he pointed flashlight on them. I said no they are fine and the jerk started arguing with me wanting my credit card number before my braking system failed.
Please someone report them to the proper legal authorities before more people get shafted.

Watch out for these guys! We found out about this place from a Penny Saver coupon for $ 14.95+ fees (deceptive ad, very fine print). When we got there, we could tell some shady stuff was going on. He said there would be license fees, yada-​yada-​yada. I asked how much for the grand total for a smog, and I was told $ 60.00. They were very rude, and taking an unusually long time to get this service done. It took about 1 hour, and then they motioned for us to come over, and that the test was done. They took our payment, as if everything was fine, and then after they put the charge through they told us it didn’t pass, and that we needed a $ 75.00 diagnostics test to find the reason for failure. We found out that it was just running too rich (wonder if anyone messed with the fuel injection?). The reason why you are not seeing more bad feedback is that it’s located deep in the East Side where many of their clientele probably aren’t hip to Unilocal.This place use to be called Le Bous Union 76 Station years ago, and now it’s called KPAN SINGH’S Union 76 Station — so be aware of the change of ownership. If I could give a lower rating I would. This rarely driven vehicle passed smog with no problems 2 years ago. We are considering this a loss and will be taking our business elsewhere, especially after reading feedback from another site that gave them poor marks (more than one customer). This station makes you feel distrust, and make you wary of other shops. They give auto mechanics a bad name. Don’t be taken! Learn from our mistake, and take your business elsewhere. Consumer beware!!!
