Pro Darling Nails

I got my engagement nails done the night before the party! I got there around 7pm and was there getting my nails done until 10pm. It took forever and the worst part is two of my nails broke at my engagement party which was the very next day! I use to love this place when the owner was different not only was it better quality, but it was much cheaper and worth it! Never coming here again! If I could give them no stars I totally would!

Horrible one coat of gel and $ 30 for the price sucks I would never recommend anybody to come to this place

This is not the place you should come to for a full set of nails (fake nails). I prefer coming here just for shellac when I’m growing out my natural nails, they get the job done and I leave content.

I’m still trying to find a good nail shop. I’m really sad. This lady named NGOC VAN T NGUYEN did my nails, she kept hurting me. I’m still here that’s how I know her name fully lol. I’m trying to feel better because I’m seriously so angry. But once again I’ll pay for these nails because I’m not fucked up. Honestly I wanna walk out and be like fuck you bitches. Whatever tho… Hopefully I find a better one to go get them redone.

I use to go here like 4 years ago and it was just eh A-​ok. Never turned out exactly how I wanted but it was so convenient (close to my house). I stopped going because the lady would also hurt me so bad doing my pedicure. They would always send me to the same damn lady, I was to shy or thought it would be rude to ask for someone else in front of her. Even when I told hurt it hurt she would look at me and say «It okay».
It had been over 3 years and I went to get my nails just removed and a guy did it and he was very gentle with me, it did not hurt. So I was like okay maybe this place has improved. I get my eyebrows done too. BAD IDEA. The lady just ripped off hella skin. I knew it hurt but this time it was worse than normal. She didn’t even press on it with baby oil like they usually do. She just let it burn then she wipes it off with baby powder. I was like uh okay this is weird. Only to go home to see raw everything. the skin was gone, I’m surprised it didn’t bleed. the next 3 days I had scabbed all over my eyebrows.
Since then it has been about 6 months and AGAIN my dumb ass gives it another try because I’m in a timer pinch my normal lady cancelled on me and its close to me. I think in my head «I just need nails on my hands that it, how hard could it be?». The lady who does my nails has no clue what I am saying to her, I explain over and over again what I want and she says «what color?». At that point I knew it was bad because I had told her exactly what I wanted already. NO COLOR POLISH or GEL. I wanted Clear and red powder. they cane out ugly, wrong shape, too long and 2 days later 1 broke, 2 more days later another broke and today an exact week later since I had them done the acrylic is lifting and one altogether fell of.
Im so mad waste of 40 bucks

Seeing the reviews now I wish I would have saw earlier. Its clean and the lady who did my daughters nails was friendly but the girl on the 2^nd row to the right when walking in I can’t say was horrible but she didn’t say né thing the whole time u would think shed ask how long I wanted my nails nope ! I asked for coffin she made them square didn’t take of my cuticles and when I told her one of my nails were longer she took the whole nail off and did it again ! I think ill stick with my original nail spot next time. I played with my credit card and told her if it didn’t go thru I’ll pay in cash she was quick to try and get me to change my mind I tiped her 10 just kuz I didn’t want to make her feel bad kuz I tiped the other lady who just painted my 7 yr olds nails lol long story short I doubt they’re going to last a full 2weeks all I can say is don’t come here for fake nails. any other services maybe but that lady needs to lighten up and try speaking even if she doesn’t know how …

You get what you pay for. I waited 30 mins for them to take me even though I called first asking if they had time for a shellac manicure. The lady started my nails and gave me what she called a «manicure» when all she did was soak my hands in water and unevenly file them, then she left to go do nail art for someone else and I waited another 30 mins.
Finally 20 mins later she painted my nails and I was done with a horrible uneven shellac manicure. I got home and they chipped because of a job poorly done. I would suggest not coming here, ever.

I like coming here usually get my nails here with the older lady (who rarely is here) today i brought my Grandmother who is visiting from Mexico to get a Mani & Pedi and she was pleased with the outcome. The reason i gave this place only 3 stars is because it took 3 different employees to do her nails. I dont understand why they always alternate…

Horrible place Just polish your own nails ladies because this place sucks Big Time at everything they do, They need more experience and new clean tools

I asked to get pedi and refill done i liked my nails but my pedi was horrible i could it done that my self!!! Will never go back to this palce also my mom did her pedi and nails and she didint like it… i do not recoommed this place sucks!!! Plus i isually pay 40 for gel nails and pedi and today payed more just for a refill

This place is a horrible service that I had with my friend. When I got there they didn’t let me chose a color first to see which one I like before they start working on my nails after they didn’t even ask what shape I wanted at all that’s not good at all and it’s so expensive for bad service I paid $ 30.00! still had glue on my nails they had to paint my friends nails 8 times! I would never go back again time to find a better nail salon to do my nails better !! No tip the service is disgusting and I don’t think they clean there supplies ewwww !

Today was my first time coming here, and my experience wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t good. The place was pretty clean, the service was good, but the outcome of my nails were not what i expected.
I always go to new nail salons because i want to find another place as good as color nails, but it’s so difficult. I have heard of this place a while back from a friend, and also it is very close by home. I came today around 6 and left also at 8. It wasn’t because they didn’t accommodate me fast, but the lady who did my nails took her time on it. Which is a good thing. She was a very kind, quiet lady. She gave her 100% effort into doing my nails which i really appreciate. But it just didn’t come out to what i expected.
I wanted my nails to be shaped as a claw but squared, and my nails came out all sorts of uneven :(It disappointed me so much because i wanted to get my nails done on point so baddddddly. I probably will come back here for a pedicure, however. But not for manicure.
They have a decent amount of shellac colors to choose from, but a whole more OPI collection. Overall, it wasn’t an ok experience for me.

Pro Darling nails is a hair and nail salon located at the corner of White road and Story Road in the Alumrock area of San Jose California. It is a full service mail salon meaning it does manicures, pedicures, and gel nails.
I have been to the salon many times and I have a few things to say about it. First of all, they are full-​service salon… They do hair nails pedicures etc.
Secondly, their pedicures are pretty good! It’s a basic job… Pedicure little massage and polish.
Thirdly, young woman who did my pedicure spoke Vietnamese and we were able to communicate.
Finally, they have all these choices for different kinds of gel nail styles… you can pick a gel nail style.
I have also had my hair done there before too… That was okay… The price was right!
They’re close to where I live so I it’s convenient… You should try them… The value for the service is pretty good overall!

I’ve gone here for two years for brow wax and full set nails, I love Kim (owner) she always does a great job on my nails she takes her time and gives me a wonderful massage towards the end. It’s a great place to go with some really good prices!

I come here solely to get my eyebrows waxed by Sue or Co Xuan (the older one) because she is amazing with the eyebrows. She’ll turn it from ugly duckling to swan princess. LOVE HER. Enough said. Wait… it’s only $ 7.

So we (me and sis) were gonna go to color nail but walked in there and it looked like a sweat shop :(so we left and headed to Pro Darling Nail and figured we’d check them out.
We didn’t check Unilocal for reviews just went in. We were actually pleasantly surprised it was not very busy so we each got a mani/​pedi at the same time b/​c we didn’t have a lot of time.
They did a good job and seemed nice but we were nice to them also. They did nice massages on our hands and feet and we were both happy with the designs we got also. I’m pretty picky and was pleased with our experience here.

I will never be back! Me and my daughter went in for the shalack, it was rushed and sloppy. I was so embarrassed and mad on how it looked that immediately after leaving scratched it all off! :/​The man doing my daughter was getting yelled at by the lady that did a bum job on me to hurry up. My daughters nails looked good but mine were horrible. I had also gotten my eyesbrows waxed and she totally rushed and screwed up on that too. I am not one to complain, I was so upset I didn’t even go back. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this place to anyone.

Very disappointed with my haircut. The guy spent majority of the time brushing my hair and BARELY cutting off centimeters. Spent $ 14 for literally nothing because I went home and ended up cutting my hair myself. womp womp.

Two words for this place: typical vietnamese.
I came here once & never came back. Their quality sucks just as much as their personalities. I came here with my friend awhile back to do my nails and while the lady was doing my nails, she was gossiping w/​her co-​workers about how «ugly» and «disgusting» my nails were just because they were short. Um, RUDE? Since they had no idea I was vietnamese, they continued bashing on my nails while doing them.
The quality sucked as well. It came out to be too thick yet surprisingly started chipping and breaking a few days later. While she was trimming down my nails, she cut it so it started burning like crazy afterwards. Although the price is pretty cheap, it is NOT worth it. They always do a student special promo, don’t fall for it. They suck ass. If I were you, I would rather drop an extra 10 bucks for some better quality.
If there was a star lower than one, I would give it to them.

This place is 5 minutes away from my house so I checked it out a few
times due to convenience.
All 3 or 4 times I’ve been there I’ve had one bad experience or another. I only get a basic mani/​pedi and even though they are on the cheaper side
here are some reasons I’m never going back.
1. The «boss» lady is very pushy and is constantly trying to upsell some other services.
2.A newer employee filed my already short nails all the way to the finger tip and kept going until finally I told her to stop because they were getting sore. I almost left when another employee offered to finish so I let her. My fingertips were sore for almost a week afterwards.
3. The last and final time I was there I had just finished my pedicure when the lady rinsed the bowl with the hose. She accidently knocked off the filter lid and I noticed a lot of gunk build up in the filter. I asked her how often she cleaned these and she said «After every customer. Of course sweetie you know it’s policy». Yeah uh-​huh. As I was paying I looked over to the same bowl and saw her mimic a cleaning action then immediately began filling up with water for the next customer. She had never used any sanitizing product after me! and definitely never intentionally cleaned out the filter.
I only gave this one star because zero is not an option.
Please beware of this salons and others like these!
