I’ve been coming to InSpa for the past 10 years and I love this place. I have received a ton of facials, a ton of waxing, a couple of massages and it’s always been an amazing experience. Always professional, always relaxing and this is why I continue to return. The front desk staff is always professional, organized and kind. It adds to the full experience (from start to finish) and I couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you InSpa!

Nice ladies that work there, but holy cow do you pay the price. Paid about $ 50 for a mani pedi there (no gel).

Just came back home from a one hour men’s facial. It was fantastic! Sunny (female technician) who worked on me ROCKED! If you want the best combo «Service & Price» I recommend going to «inSpa»! There prices include a tip which is nice. I have been going to inSpa for the past 12 years, twice per year, every 6 months. My first time was in Seattle where they are mainly from, but have a few locations in the SF Bay Area. The price used to be $ 85, now is $ 95. Everyone’s cost’s are going up but still at $ 95 is the lowest price around. The staff here are helpful and friendly. No issues on parking. The facility is super clean, and remodeled. They have a great deal, buy 4 get 1 FREE. I love this place!

This review is a bit long overdue because I’m new to Unilocal.I came to Inspa about a year ago. It was a spur of the moment type of thing but they were able to get me in. I came in for a brow wax and a pedicure. The girl that did my brows did a fantastic job and my brows are not easy.
My pedicure was so good! There was a nice selection of colors. The spa was very relaxing. My pedicurist did not hurt me, huge plus! The lady who did my pedicure was an absolute doll and I wish I would have gotten her name because if I come back I want her to do my nails.

I downloaded the Unilocal app just to write this review. I was here for the first time for a bachelorette gathering and I had the best experience! I felt very welcomed as soon as my friends and I walked in. We were greeted with pleasant smiles and were offered a hot drink. I got the signature manicure and it was the best decision of my life. I cannot get over the hot mitts. It was extremely relaxing. My nail tech Felicia was super thorough and was really gentle and patient. I’m not even the type to get my nails done regularly, but I understand why one might want to after today’s experience. If I actually lived in San Jose I would definitely come here again.

Omg! I love this place and how I live only 200 ft away from here! Audra does an amazing job when it comes to the signature massage! I always walk out of there feeling less stressed and relaxed! The girls up in front are always so helpful and welcoming! Give this place a try!

I have been looking for a masseuse for a long time and have been to many many spas but I never found someone I really liked. I also tried a few masseuse at In Spa and something was always missing until I found Essie. She gives the best massages and has the best attitude. She always welcomes me with a smile and makes sure that I am happy with the massage.
If you want an amazing massage, Essie is your girl!!!

I’ve had multiple services done here, and have loved every one of them! Tammy, Diem, Van and Felicia are my go-​to for nails! For massage I love Audra and Essie!!! They get every kink out, while keeping the entire massage pleasant. I become so relaxed I usually fall asleep! For facials or waxes I love Gia, or Sunny. They’re so friendly and get the job done, while helping me forget I’m about to get a painful wax. The front desk girls are always so lovely and friendly. Jenn and Rachel get me in and out quick and efficient! The manager, Anna is the sweetest woman! You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests. I recommend coming here for all your spa needs!

So my girlfriend booked appointments for all of us for a spa day at Inspa, the only downside is that they only have three rooms so only 3 of us can go at a time, but there was 5 of us. Basically one had to go at 2 o clock, 3 at 3 o’clock, and 1 at 4 o’clock. It was quite an inconvenience because of the fact that we always had to wait for someone else to finish, and someone had to wait an hour or so for everyone else, so that was the downside.
But, my massage lady (I don’t know what the correct title is) was Stacy and I loved her. When she first called my name, she introduced herself, brought me into the room, and confirmed what massage I was getting which was Inspa signature. I wasn’t sure which massage I was getting and how much it was (because I wanted to include tip along with it and only had a certain amount of cash and I also like tipping in cash) but she went outside to confirm the price for me (which I really liked). Anyways, on with the story, she let me changed told me to take off my clothes as long as I was comfortable and get under the sheets and waited till I was ready.
My massage felt like heaven on earth. I tend to like rougher deep massage since I have a lot of back pain between my shoulder blades and she also asked me where my problem areas were and focused on them which I really liked. She worked with me, and the whole time we had a great conversation (usually everyone falls asleep but I was just wide awake and liked being pampered) but we talked about her husband, my boyfriend, how she started there, and a lot of other random things, but I loved the fact that we connected and I had a fun pleasant time being pampered. We talked the entire massage about random topics that when it was over I was so sad :(
Anyways since it was my first massage in quite awhile I wasn’t sure how much to tip, the massage cost $ 84 and I tipped her $ 20 (wasn’t sure if that’s the normal or if it’s the above average since it’s been awhile)
But I’m definitely returning and surprising my boyfriend with a spa day, and requesting her (going to take care of her next time cause she’s amazing haha)
So I left with a good experience.
The only reason I gave this a 4 star instead of a 5 was because of the front receptionist at the front (with the blonde hair, can’t remember her name) but I honestly felt like she had an attitude, and how she was talking to my other friends too when they asked how to tip their masseuse because it was our first time there (we even talked about it briefly while we were grabbing Starbucks and waiting for our other friend).
I understand if she’s having a bad day, or getting annoyed with customers asking her the same thing repeatedly, but in my honest opinion, no matter how much someone annoys you at your job, you just have to keep smiling and being friendly.
But their tip box was broken, and so they had to run to give the masseuse their tip, and I was just confirming with my masseuse if she received her tip (I’ve seen incidents where people pocket them so I always ask if I’m not giving it to her directly because everyone deserves a reward for their hard work). But the receptionist seemed annoyed that I asked.
Anyways, that’s my review, I quite loved the fact that Stacy stood outside my door while I was changing with a cup of water and also gave me a warm towel before she left the room so I can wipe down the cream/​oil she was using on me to massage.

Swedish massage by Kisha was wonderful! Felt very relaxed afterwards and had relief of my upper back and shoulder tension! This time had the 60 minute massage; may try the 90 minute massage next time!
Be sure to allow extra time to search for parking at Santana Row especially during the lunch hour :)

I went to In Spa expecting an amazing experience and I ended up receiving the worst gel manicure of all time.
My nails turned out totally lumpy and they started to peel less than a week after they were done (Gel manicures should be glossy and last about 2 weeks). I am shocked that they charge $ 48 for such a lousy job. I definitely will not be returning for a manicure ever again.
Plus side– it’s nicely situated in Santana Row, it’s pretty clean, and they are open a little later than a typical spa or nail salon.

In the past I’ve never encountered a problem but the new staff is unprofessional I’m a regular n I paid $ 50 for full arm and didn’t get the full arm I’ve gotten that service before & never had that problem and when I ask to speak to a manager she never around this is very upsetting I work at a spa across the street & we never treat our guests like this they need to fix this I don’t wanna go elsewhere but its leading in that direction. then I didn’t call last appointment and there forcing me to go as a walk-​in after my previous experience they shouldnt do that

Experience started out lovely — great atmosphere really feels spa like and luxe. However, my pedicure provider was the opposite. Her name was Tammy and unfortunately she coughed all over the instruments she was using and … My foot. The worst part was arguably the most important part — the polish application. After returning home and inspecting the pedi I realized that she had painted part of my skin as though it was my nail! Really odd. Also, my nails weren’t shaped nicely and the whole thing just seemed super halfassed. Not worth the money.
However I will say I’ve had the gal —
Rose before at a different salon and she is great!

My shellac manicure was PERFECT. An incredibly relaxing experience and my nails still look great a week later. The manicurist did a great job and it smelled fresh inside. I love Inspa because of the therapeutic vibe which includes the no tip policy (I always get stressed about how much is appropriate). However, they asked how much I wanted to add for «gratuity» which basically is a different word for tip. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because the policy should be clear and if it is a no tip policy it should not be asked about when charged and there should not be a «grautiuity» box at the front desk. I am happy to pay a higher flat rate of the employees are not paid enough but this bothered me and I was surprised by it.

Wow I guess I haven’t been enough lately! Thanks for letting me know– my manicure still does not have one chip over a week later. This is a Miracle for me! I will be coming back:)

InSpa offers pretty good nail services. Price is higher than comparable salons because of the Santana Row location.
They offer a number of discount options, currently:
— Buy a $ 25 membership, get 10% off all services for a year
— Bulk purchases (buy 4 of the same service at one time, get the 5^th free)
— ‘Happy hour’ specials, M-​W late afternoons, discounts vary by day. (note, you have to know to ask for the discount).
I primarily went to InSpa for the shellac manicures. I love Shellac manicures when properly applied. However, improperly applied or other gel manicures hurt my nails. I’ve been getting gel manicures for maybe 4 years, and Shellac almost exclusively for the past 3 or so.
I chose InSpa because they are a Shellac Certified provider. However, my Shellac services have been of varied quality.
The first 2 — 3 shellac manicures were good — properly applied and they lasted 14 days or longer.
After that, the manicures were okay — they varied by manicurist, but were generally better than non-​certified providers, and lasted 1 – 2 weeks.
In my most recent visit, I realized they had changed the name from ‘shellac manicure’ to ‘gel manicure’. I selected a shellac color, but they didn’t follow the shellac process — different brand for top and base coat, no solar oil, and less time under the light. Within a few days, I had to remove it to minimize nail damage.
Since I am specifically looking for a quality Shellac application, this no longer works for me. But if you’re looking for a standard gel manicure or other nail service, it may be fine for you.

Awesome experience at Inspa!
I have been here before for pedicures, and recently got eyelash extensions. During my most recent visit, I walked in and was immediately greeted by Jenn at the front desk. Both girls working at the front desk seemed very welcoming and friendly. I had my eyelashes done by Gia, who was great as well! I was a little nervous about getting extensions and she made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. While checking out, the girls once again chatted with me asking me how it went, seemed very down to earth and genuinely interested in how my service was. I will definitely continue to come back to this location!

My shellac manicure started peeling off by day 7. The coat was so thick the edges were coming off every finger.
This $ 48.00 service is suppose to last 14 days.
Huge disappointment — never again!

Unlike most nail salons, InSpa is open Sunday! Win! I’ve had pleasant, relaxing experiences every time I’ve been here. I’ve only ever gotten manicures, but they have a wide selection of polish, friendly staff, and they do a great job! I like how they offer you tea and water and the chairs are plush and comfy.
The only reason I don’t come here more is because they are pretty expensive compared to other nail salons & spas (classic mani is $ 26, gel mani is $ 48, and classic pedi is $ 39) and Santana Row can be a pain with parking.
Another pro is that they don’t allow children unless they are receiving a service.

I always go here to do my full leg wax with Melissa. She is really awesome and does an amazing job just how I like it.
I’m only taking out 1 star because not everyone is like Melissa at in spa. I’ve have some really bad experiences with other associates at in spa and she was really my last hope here. If it wasn’t for Melissa I won’t have gone back. She is the best

This was my first time trying out InSpa, and I loved it! The receptionists were friendly and happy to accommodate my last minute appointment. The place is very clean and welcoming. They also play nice instrumental music to help you relax.
I came in for a classic pedicure. The lady who helped me was named Demi… or something like that. She was super nice and did an awesome job with my pedicure! I had mentioned to her that my feet had some sensitive areas (low tickle tolerance), and she listened to exactly what I wanted.
InSpa is pretty pricey, $ 40 for a classic pedicure that lasted about 45 minutes. But this IS Santana Row, everything is expensive. They only offer OPI nail polish options, but that’s good enough for me. It was a good quality pedicure and I would definitely come back!
