Bill Harris Quality Stucco and Plastering

I met Bill in High school, San Jose High school 73 or so, he got me too rethink life in such away I still used a loot of his values in my own life… he got me into RVC, and started doing little patch work him… but, had too quit because I was seen doing that rather in the hall… he has done well for himself and I always will remember this huge man with this huge foot and curly hair and bushy beard and mustache. As being one of the Most Value People I have ever had in my life Amos Brown aka Superior Plastering. Bill agreed to come take a look at my house to give me a quote for some stucco work we needed to get done. I said I would still be at work during the time he wanted to drop by, but he was free to walk around the property to take measurements. He said that was fine.
The next day, he showed up at the agreed time, and called me while I was in a meeting (so I couldn’t take the call right away). I called him back half an hour later only to find out that he didn’t take measurements and had left because I was not home. He apologized for mixing up his clients and told me he would come out the next day to take a look and call me with a quote.
It’s been 3 weeks, and I have not yet received a phone call or a quote. I will be using a different company.

Bill is retired, but helpful. He said he retired recently (my loss!) when I contacted him about a job. However, he remains as helpful as other reviewers indicated and gave me guidance in selecting the right contractor.
I thought bids I received from others were high. He asked about my house, explained how they calculated the size of the job times the cost per square yard, plus the extras — and it was very close to a couple of my estimates — giving me confidence that I wasn’t being overcharged.
He did say that if I had chosen inexpensive laborers and was unsure of whether they might do the right job, I could hire him as a consultant and he would supervise the job. For another job, where I use handymen, I might just do that! Thanks, Bill!

Beautiful Work! I called Bill’s office Monday morning and left a message. Turns out Bill was on vacation on the East Coast but returned my call within 20 seconds (yes, that’s right, 20 seconds). We talked about my job putting stucco around our front window where I had torn out the decaying wood siding. He referred me to his foreman Ron. Ron came by, discovered it was a little more complicated than we thought, but went to work. Now its Wednesday evening, the job is complete and its gorgeous. These guys go above and beyond, are honest, personable, very reasonably priced and I couldn’t be more pleased.

He has been using our neighborhood as a parking lot for his busines. We have limited parking due to street sweeping and he chooses to park the biggest vehicle he has to take up the most space and we end up getting tickets. He is a selfish old man. He may do stucco well but he does not know how to treat his neighbors where he is working at.

After receiving several quotes, Bill’s was one of the cheaper ones and honest ones. We needed to have stucco done around two new doors and cover up tar from a 3^rd rate patio that we tore down. We ended up finding more issues and I had to reframe and strap the garage to the house which required more work for Bill. He kept his quote the same. We got our stucco redone on an entire wall which included some wire and paper for about $ 800. We had qoutes for the same work up to $ 2k. We were told by others we need more done and Bill said thats not the case.
So We accepted the bid and gave us chores to do to save more money, like hammer away some stucco for the new bonding. They came out, were completely clean and finished the job in two separate days due to new stucco it was a two part job.
After a couple of weeks I noticed the stucco didnt bond to one wall for the resurface portion. It cracked a little and if you pushed it it bounced out. Called him and he was out and re did that whole portion no additional charge, attitude, or gripe.
Of all the contractors I have worked with Bill tells you straight up what to expect, not what you want to hear and then lied about later.
If you are looking for honesty, quality, clean, and timely work, give him a call.
I recommend calling your highend stucco people and get a quote first, then call him and make no mention of the quote. You will see the honesty and necessity of work you need.

I was so happy with Bill’s company. He has done 2 of my houses, the first one was about 20 years ago and my home that he recently did had beautiful decorative trim which not many people can recreate in the same ways that he does. I could not be happier with his work. I would highly recommend his company.

The guy may do quality work but was very rude and ripped me a new one when asking his opinion about doing a job. It’s like he wants you to pay him to do a bid for a job…
