Alum Rock Studio is a small studio that debut in 2011 and provided video services and photography for weddings and business, as well as website design.

Our goal is to continue to establish a strong portfolio for our cherished clients. We value quality over quantity, our mission is to expand and grow our clients ROI using our many years of artistic and technical expertise.

I’ve founded KT Electronics in 2008 with only 2 employees, we now have 18 employees and specialize in all of today’s best electronics gadgets including Apple latest products.

I believe in integrity, honesty, and hard work. Our company is competitive and dynamic. Our dedication to our customer allow us to thrive in the toughest economy until today.

This place is awesome! I needed headshots and a taped audition and Vinnie really helped me out. He knew what he was doing and really coached me to be a better model. He had a lot of patience with me and really worked hard to get the best shots for me. Thank you!

I called Alum Rock Studio and asked them if I could use their space at 8 AM Sunday morning. Even though I only gave two days notice, Vinnie was very gracious and welcomed me to the studio on Sunday morning, 8 AM sharp.
Vinnie helped me carry my 6 ft. lighting rig from my car to the studio and then setup his own lights for me as well. Then I asked him if i could put blood all over his white floor for my movie shoot. No problem he said.
Then I realized I was short an actor, I asked if Vinnie would be willing to step in. No problem he said. In fact he did an amazing job acting!
Then I asked if I could get some help doing camerawork. Vinnie once again stepped in and grabbed some shots for me.
My film would not have been a success without Vinnie and Alum Rock Studio. I am so grateful for their help. He is very passionate about what he does and is truly there to support the artistic talent of the Bay Area. Although I showed up late and unprepared, they did not charge me for the extra time. Alum Rock Studio is the best.

We have used this studio twice now for photo shoots, and will definitely use them in the future. Vinny is the owner, and he is there to help and answer any questions you have, assist in lighting, give tips if you want them, and very friendly. They have a clothing rack, props, many different back drops available, and a huge plus is their makeup/hair vanity (with outlets!). 5 Stars for this one!

I had a friend in a performance who wanted some personal shots in costume. I had previously attended an event at Alum Rock Studios so it was the first place I thought for photography studio rental. I wasn’t disappointed. They made their space available on their day off, Sunday. They helped setup all of the lighting without any technical glitches (e.g., the radio popper not syncing with the flashes). They were helpful in making suggestions about poses and lighting. I’ve been to a lot of paid meetups and/or workshops that were billed as one thing only to be disappointed when they failed to deliver what was promised. That was not the case at Alum Rock Studios.

We’ve used this a few times for photography studio rental and it’s a great space. Looks nice, professional, wonderful staff who are very accommodating. The prices are good as well. We wouldn’t keep coming back if we didn’t love it!

Nice place and friendly staff. I checked the rates around and found it comparable here. I liked the layout and space. Would definitely rent out again if I need a place to shoot!

They are the worst studio and staff. We rented AR Studio for full 2 days for our workshop. Linda is the main contact and she promised the everything will be setup on the day of the workshop. On our first day. They opened 15 mins late. Our participants, models, designers and HMUA (Hair and Make Up Artist) were freezing cold outside. Studio was not setup. We are 1 hour behind late coz Vinny stil fixing by using duct tape the hanging soft box. They only provided 2 wireless trigger (the other one was malfunctioning). During workshop. Both Vinny and Vu (both part owner) were shooting our models without asking permission. They even asked for the trigger so they can shoot and the worst part, they also drag our model to shoot outside the studio. Also 2 of their female friends drop by and watched us during the workshop. That’s only for the first day.
And here comes the 2^nd day. They opened 45 mins late and the studio was not setup. We could not reach Linda. we had enough and left AR Studio. We booked a conference room in a hotel and lost 3 hours of workshop. Oh yeah, they already contacted our models so they can shoot them for their open house.
Will never go back to this studio. If there’s only 0 star rate here i can give them one.
