Academy of Mandarin Immersion

We chose this school first because it’s bilingual, newly opened, looked clean with good size of backyard play ground for kids. Had interview with school, it seems nice and reasonable.
Really had some tough times with the school after joining.
They are NEW to the daycare business, she always has a lot of theories and actually doesn’t know how to take care of kids. Every time we have questions, she always emphasizes that she is an expert in this, and she was doing us a big favor as she is not make money out of this. After a few times, it really gets you tired.
Lack of patience/​short-​temper is another thing that would drive you out of this school.

My spouse speaks a little Mandarin so it’s not a core language in our home, but our son is absorbing so much and pronouncing words and phrases so clearly. He has gained a lot of confidence in Mandarin in 1-​yr, which is great to see.
We are so happy that Tracy decided to found AMI and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-​quality pre-​school.

My twins have been going to this preschool for close to a year now and they still love it. Tracy, the owner does an amazing job and so professional handling the kids. She and the teachers always give positive encouragements. My girl loves to sing and humming in Chinese these days. My boy loves their yummy food and engages with others. They were able to recognized some Chinese words and alphabets. They both learned how to be independent.
My twin girl loves playing puzzles and these days she would be able to finish the 24 pieces of puzzles by herself without any help. Now she is starting to do 48 pieces. She also loves coloring now. I’m not sure where she picks it up, either from school or from her elder sister who loves drawing. Well, bottom line is she made a big improvements. Now she can really do coloring nicely… not just scribble!
My twin boy now can eat by himself without being fed. He is always happy and it’s amazing to see how much he learns at school. He can also recognize some Chinese words. He loves reading book.
We’re so surprised by how much they have learned, not only academically but also their social skills. Kids were happy and well-​rounded. We feel secure putting our kids in here.
