We used Gig to film our wedding and were very happy with the results. We had him film the ceremony, tea ceremony, speeches, cake cutting, and part of the dancing. For being a one-​man show, we were impressed with the footage he was able to capture and thought he was a very fair cost. Gig takes his job very seriously, and was working closely with our wedding planner throughout the evening to make sure he was set up in the right locations. In fact, its best if he is able to meet with your planner/​day of coordinator (or yourself) early on the day of the wedding so that he knows exactly where he should set up for every part of the event you’d like footage of (i.e., where people be standing to make toasts). This way he can set up in advance and won’t have ask your wedding planner during the event.
Unlike a lot of high-​priced videographers in the Bay Area, our wedding video is not like some kind of music-​video (which I know is in style now), but more an actual record of our day that we wanted to be able to share with our grandparents, who couldn’t be there, and have for ourselves. Our video was about an hour long (you can work with Gig on the length you want), which was perfect for us. We were also happy with the editing process. Gig did a good job shortening silent parts of the ceremony and consolidating the speeches so the video goes through the whole evening smoothly in a much shorter time. We worked with him through the editing process because we wanted to add our entire first dance to the video. We also added a chapter to the end of the DVD, which had the full-​length speeches from the father of the bride, father of the groom, best man, and maid of honor. This process of adjustments was in our original contract and at no extra cost. All in all, we were happy with our wedding video, and felt like we didn’t spend an arm and a leg in the process.

Gig Hitao (Video Spark Productions) has been my videographer for the last year and a half for the production of all of my classical piano performance and teaching videos on my YouTube channel, SallyChristianMusic. He has been a dream to work with as we have teamed up to produce at a fast pace and a high volume a very unique product. Most important to me is the energy and attitude he brings to all aspects of our work, from start to finish. He is able to juggle effortlessly so many details at once, from camera angles and zooms, to script content and overall aesthetics. Finally, he is fun to be around, and with his easy and light spirit, I can truly relax and deliver the music with freedom and joy!

Gig has helped us produce over 50 YouTube videos during the past year and a half. His video and editing skills are absolutely top notch. Of even more importance has been his creative input on how to tell a story and communicate with the viewers. We love his professionalism and his sense of humor. He has become an essential member of our team that we have grown to depend on in many ways.

Gig, from Video Spark Productions, has been my go to videographer for three years now, producing the Art RockX Show. He travels all across the bay area, bringing all the equipment you need, arrives promptly ready to work from the minute he walks in until long after the event is over. He’s been our #1 camera man, excellent at live action shooting and photography. He is the utmost professional.
