I have been living at the 31st Ave TLC SLE for just over two months now and it has been quite an adventure! The TLC staff at the office are all super friendly and know exactly what they are talking about. Their policies are all clearly laid out in the house for anyone to read, and any time I’ve heard a house mate having an issue with not following the policies it’s almost always because they didn’t take the time to read them!
Which brings me to when issues come up in the house. TLC does a stand up job of keeping the house stocked with supplies for drug testing keeping the house clean. The House Parents facilitate weekly chores that keep everyone responsible and busy (not too busy mind you!), and when the possible skirmishes pop up they are handled swiftly AND professionally.
TLC has provided me a safe haven that I am grateful to be able to call home.

By far the cleanest and most comfortable SLE I’ve ever experienced. If your intent is to create a solid foundation and strong fellowship in recovery there is no better place to be sober. I owe a great debt to AA and TLC for helping me to grow into the responsible adult I have become. The TLC experience has truly enhanced my recovery.
