Established in 2009.

The Guitar Workshop San Francisco offers supportive, fun, musical and professional music education for students of all levels and ages.

Our founders have all held positions teaching at music schools and/​or run independent teaching businesses over the past 20 years.

By coming together to create The Guitar Workshop we can bring our craft and specialties the community.

Our founder, Cherie Lebow, originally trained at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA., has been in many San Francisco bands and has writted and performed her own work in and around the Bay Area.

Business Owner

Cherie Lebow is a guitarist, songwriter and singer. Originally trained the the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA., she has been a music teacher, songwriter and performer in the Bay Area for the past 17 years. In addition to running her teaching business she has also tought at The Blue Bear School of Music. She has performed with several successful Bay Area bands including:
