Founded in February 2006, Scary Cow was created to fill a void in the San Francisco Bay Area to connect passionate amateur filmmakers. To date we’ve created hundreds of films and given away over $ 150,000 in budget dollars since we’ve started.

Jäger started Scary Cow when he realized that finding a great crew for his first feature film wasn’t as easy as it should be. Now he helps hundreds of bay area filmmakers in the Scary Cow film co-op.
