We specialize in structural engineering for residential structures. We develop plans for seismic retrofits, soft stories, remodels, additions, new construction, retaining walls, and foundations.

History

Established in 2009.

I have been doing structural engineering work primarily on residences since 2004. I work with people on creating new and improved spaces in their homes and making homes safer in the event of an earthquake.

My desire in starting Simplengi is to work more directly with people to create the most build-​able and efficient design possible.

Ever since I was a young kid playing with legos, I have been fascinated by how things are put together. Growing up with a father who is a structural engineer, I imagine some of it rubbed off in my ultimate decision to study the same thing. I have been doing residential structural design for 7 years and still chugging’.

I enjoy meeting new people and engaging with them on their projects. Whatever the project, my intention with my business is to provide simple engineering solutions for people’s homes.
