History

Established in 2012.

Unique Events by Lina was founded in January of 2012 by Lina Rodriguez-​Tirre. After planning and designing events for friends and family she knew that this was her passion and wanted to put her creative and artistic skills to use for the public. Her motivation came when planning her wedding in 2012, although she hired a wedding planner she quickly found out the high costs involved in weddings & she wanted to get creative and custom. So she began re-​creating items she found online adding her own personal touch, bargain hunting, flea marketing and rummaging for perfect treasures at a minimal cost. In the end she says she learned the ins and outs of wedding planning on a budget yet still managing to achieve the look and vision in mind.
