Sheva Feld, PhD

I have been blessed enough to have found and connected with Dr. Feld. My experience has been profound. I’ve always been a spiritual person and have been trying to deepen my life by making it more meaningful. I’ve been trying to find my purpose and decided to reach out for Dr. Feld for hypnosis and a possible regression.
Dr. Feld kindly provided me with her thoughts and answers to many questions I had, she was firm in her knowledge and helped me see the upside of some «bad» situations. She also guided me through a meditation that was life changing for me. She never ever pressured me into anything and just guided with love.
Without getting into personal details, I think that if anyone is looking for a deeper understanding of your life purpose, a more meaningful relationship with your own self or just some spiritual guidance, you will find what you’re looking for with the gentle guidance of Dr. Feld.
And there is no pressure to set several appointments, she goes at your pace, a rare thing these days!

Sheva helped me through two challenging life events, an abusive work situation, and the loss of a parent. In both cases, Sheva helped «cut to the emotional chase» in a gentle and insightful way. Her therapeutic toolbox is vast, and included offering appropriate challenges to problematic thinking, but again, done so in a gentle and insightful way. I never felt like I was wasting my time, or that she insisted on opening up a bazillion cans of worms to help me get through what I needed to get through. In addition to being a well-​qualified and quite able therapist, Sheva is a genuinely good person who really cares about the client.

I worked with Sheva during a recent professional transition I went through. It was a very unique situation and her outstanding counseling skills as well as her career coaching ones helped me move forward with my career. I am much happier now after being able to leave behind the worse job experience in my career and thanks to her help I have been able to explore career opportunities that probably I wouldn’t have explored at this point in my life. She is very compassionate in her approach and always addressed what was important to me in each session. It was wonderful to work with her and I would recommend her and would go back to her anytime I need to.

Sheva has been a great influence on me. Before working with Sheva, I had a lot of personal issues I was dealing with. Sheva taught me how to work through my issues as well as to look inside myself and make changes to improve who I was, which allowed me to get closer to becoming the person I want to be. I continue to work on improving myself and it all started with her help.

Sheva is wonderful. She has a very gentle, compassionate approach that is very growth oriented and focuses on the process of evolving. She describes a new way of looking at the world. She enhances her practice with shadow workshops which provide intensive work on the deep and dark within us. She has the capacity to take you inside yourself to places you have never seen.
Sheva has taught me how to look at the world with new eyes. She has taught me that the universe is conspiring in my favor and that my life does not have to look how I thought it would look. She taught me to examine myself and where my thoughts and fears come from and that changing does not admit defeat. This has benefited me because it has enabled me to change and adapt my behaviors more easily without being so judgmental about who I reall am.
It’s hard to find someone with Sheva’s depth, credentials and talent. I recommend Sheva to everyone!

I have seen Sheva on and off for several years both individually and in one of her workshops.
I grew up seeing the world and everything in it as very black and white. Even as I’ve mellowed somewhat, through the years of work on myself, I have still remained very scientifically minded.
Sheva approaches issues from so many directions, and is so open to different interpretations (e.g. different theories in psychology, astrology, spirituality, etc.), she really opens my mind and helps me to see outside myself and my own view of the world.
I have found working with Sheva more comfortable and easier than with any past therapist. I have stayed with her longer and gone back to having sessions with her after breaks, unlike any other therapist I’ve seen.
I also appreciate her lack of rigidity of scheduling. No once-​a-​week-​every-​week expectation unlike past therapists.

Just a little history: My BA is in Clinical Psychology and have been a clinic supervisor for various mental health clinics. I also designed and oversaw development and operations of the first commercial online mental health clinic in the world, where I hired many therapists to staff the video conferences with clients we’d bring in through marketing. As you can see I am very pro therapy, but it’s rare I find a therapist as competent and compelling as Sheva.
I mentioned in a previous post that I had a keen interest in past life regression (
). I also cited a few experiences I’ve had with various therapists, most of whom were from different parts of the world or country. After coming back from the Middle East where I had my most vivid regressions, I called Dr. Brian Weiss’s office (author of Many Lives, Many Masters) in Miami to ask for a referral to a regressionist local to me. They referred me to Dr. Sheva Feld. I called and she was very accommodating. I was completing coursework at Stanford and wanted some balance in my life. We set up an intake (2 hours) and it was one of the best sessions I’ve had anywhere. Sheva was very thorough, and although I wasn’t looking for «therapy», helped me focus on a few items in my life that were out of sorts. After talking for a bit, she would put me «under». At the end of the session we’d discuss.
Over the next few sessions, the talking started helping and although our sessions were spaced out over 3 month breaks, she was effective enough that the lessons from the hypnosis and discussions set me on paths to change behaviors, which is the primary role of a therapist and a blessing.
We recently did our 5^th session over this approximately 2 year period, and last time I decided to forgo the hypnosis in order to focus on some interesting items that had come up in previous sessions. In just 5 sessions, I’ve cleared an incredible amount of baggage, and I believe am a better person because of the combination of therapies Sheva uses with the hypnosis and discussion. And when i say discussion, i mean we talk. She’s good. If you’re looking for a therapist for regressions (even if you don’t believe in past lives), or other therapies, I can’t recommend her more highly.

I have known Dr. Sheva Feld for several years. I find her to be a wise and caring teacher, as well as a consummate professional — responsive and caring. She goes out of her way to effectively communicate and offer support. When I was going through fertility treatments, she was there for me offering encouragement and healing support to increase my chances of becoming pregnant. She called me on the telephone to make sure I was doing OK. I also appreciated that Dr. Feld has done a lot of volunteer work, and works while raising a daughter. These qualities add to her life experience and ability to empathize with others. It has been inspirational and refreshing to know Sheva, who takes much pride in contributing to the good in the world.
