Roy Nesari is an AMAZING doctor! I had a painful toothache on the weekend that resulted in a root canal. My regular dentist was away and I thank the stars for putting me in touch with Dr Nesari. He was very nice, professional and so sympathetic — he proactively kept in touch with me during the weekend and gave me tips on how to get the swelling down. (I am so thankful for his time) The treatment like most dental treatments can be grueling and long but he and his staff managed to make it fun and homely. They let you play your choice of music on pandora! How cool is that!
He also seems to take pride in his work and is very thorough, affordable and has an amazing sense of humor His staff is warm and welcoming as well. Now I wish he could be my regular dentist.

Dr. Nesari is an example of what a good doctor should be. I had to redo a root canal which I’ve it done years ago. Dr. Nesari was honest and super professional which made me feel confortable during the treatment. Also, he is warm and welcoming which made it so easy to interact with as well as to his staff, specially Evelyn who was super helpful as well.
Honestly, I wish there are more Dr. Nesaries in other specialities :)

This is a way overdue for the best endodontist experience I’ve ever had. Last year I received a root canal from Dr. Nesari that not only was completely painless, but a pleasurable experience (I can’t believe that’s even possible). Everyone on his staff was warm, welcoming, professional and did everything possible to keep me informed and make me feel comfortable during the procedure. Dr. Nesari is super down to earth, great at explaining things and seems to really enjoy what he does. I felt totally blessed to have found them in my neighborhood. I couldn’t recommend him and his staff more highly.

By far the best experience I’ve had with any type of doctor, and that’s a lot to say for someone doing root canals! Not only is he highly knowledgeable in his field, which is obviously expected, but he’s very thorough, honest, kind, and caring. He’s available for appointments within a very reasonable window of time, and he’s highly responsive to email/​phone inquiries. If only all my doctors were like this!

Love his gentle and caring manner. The root canal was not without it’s problem but my tooth was cracked beyond repair. The office staff called afterwards to check on my status and communicated with my dentist. Highly recommend this office.

He’s not in my dental insurance network and it takes me an hour and a half to get there. And I couldn’t be happier. Thank God I got a referral to this guy from a highly skilled emergency dentist in Honolulu, Bob Wong (new bridge issues during vacation).
Was told by another endodontist and a dentist I would probably lose tooth 15 due to a bad root canal by another endo, and after 6 months (yes, six months of work by Dr. Nesari for that one normal root canal charge to my insurance) of applying medication to the root and making sure it was SO CLEAN and not irritated, everything was feeling solid and healthy and now a year later, so far so good. I’m seeing him Thursday for another tooth my current dentist accidentally destroyed during a large filling replacement.
If you find a good dentist or endodontist (sp?), make sure you hang on to them.

I am so thankful to doctor Nesari and his team for being so kind to me today and helpful they are very professional and accommodating they really deserve every single star.
I had a medical emergency they were able to take me last minute on something so major like a root canal the doctor was very gentle The procedure was short and easy I highly recommend them.

Is it possible to have a blast while getting a root canal? Because that just happened. Dr. Nesari is AMAZING. If I had to give him a grade, it would be A++++. I have had several root canals in my life, and this was by FAR the best. It was painless, and he was kind enough to explain every step and give time updates throughout the procedure. Do yourself a huge favor, and book an appointment! His staff is also incredibly polite, knowledgable, and overall just really pleasant people to be around :)

I very much enjoyed my experience at Dr. Nesari’s office, and by enjoy I mean that it was one of the the least traumatic dental experiences I have had. Dr. Nesari is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time to educate you on the work that is needed to be done. His staff is very helpful and accommodating. And best of all, I feel his rates were extremely competitive! I hope I don’t have any more endodontics procedures, but in the unfortunate circumstance, I will be returning to Dr. Nesari’s office for sure!

Dr. Nesari and office crew were very professional, caring and really took the time to explain the steps and procedural details in undergoing my first ever root canal and in seamlessly handling the insurance aspect of it. Both of which might be considered as torture by some.

I had always feared having such a procedure done and afterwards, was pleasantly surprised at how quickly, efficiently and PAINLESSLY the procedure went. I want to dispel any fears/​worries anyone might have at undergoing this procedure, as long as you seek the help from Dr. Nesari, you are in fully competent hands.
He and his staff get TOP marks from me! I must fully recommend them to anyone seeking any similar treatments.

dr nasari re-​did two of my root canals that werent looking too hot. everyone is super friendly, the office is professional with great bedside manner. i opted for local anesthesia, and couldnt feel a thing. during the procedure, dr nasari was great at communicating what he was doing and what to expect next. months afterward, i feel like i should stop in just to say hi. do people do that? maybe you can say hi for me. :)

So, I’m one of those people that didn’t take advice about that pesky tooth issue that ended up becoming pretty serious, ie: fever, nausea, major pain… all because I thought it would just «go away». (Don’t let an abscess go untreated, just saying!)
Previous to this experience, I hadn’t been to a dentist’s office in probably 11 years, due to some really BAD experiences with just about EVERY other dentist. The incredible amount of pain I was in at the time made me finally make the decision to do something about it, especially since I didn’t want to lose my tooth. After an examination, my regular Dentist, Jennifer Terry DDS, in the Mission (Just off of Valencia/​16^th BART) referred me to an Endodontic Surgeon for a Root Canal because it needed more extensive work.

I came to Roy Nesari’s office, and quite frankly, I was terrified. I hadn’t been to a dentist’s office in probably 11 years (embarrassed), due to some really BAD experiences with just about EVERY other dentist that I’d previously been «treated» by (hideously outdated equipment, lack of English language skills required for medical treatment, completely wrong advice… etc.).
I walked into the office, and the Receptionist/​Office Manager was able to help me immediately. When I arrived, everything went smoothly, and I was seen immediately.
I have to say, my experience at Dr. Nasari’s office changed *everything* for me. Really. No, like, for real, I no longer dread going to the Dentist, or even an Oral Surgeon!!!
Everyone was ready to make my experience a good one. They have super comfy patient chairs … (I think it’s some sort of memory foam) and they really want to know you as a person. They have Pandora Internet Radio, (and no commercials), so don’t be shy about what you’d like to listen to! They’re all about your comfort.
OVERALL, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

My regular dentist was on vacation and I got the mother of all toothaches. I went to the referred dentist (by his office) who told me I needed a root canal. I found Dr. Nesari on Unilocal and after reading the reviews decided he sounded like the man for the job. What a GREAT experience! Not a statement you normally associate with dentists. It started with exceptional service by his staff. I was able to register online and turn up for my appointment without filling in reams of paperwork beforehand. After a brief consultation with Dr. Nesari and a very complete and concise explanation of the treatment plan and costs, I had the root canal. No pain, extremely professional manner and a staff you’d want to have handle every aspect of your life (if you could). Dr. Nesari makes you feel comfortable and happy to be at the dentist, now THAT“S service!

Dr. Nesari and his team are very good at what they do.
I had a root canal done and was impressed with how well I was taken care of and how fast the work was done. I appreciated that Dr. Nesari resolved a few physical issues I have with visiting the dentist efficiently and with compassion. During the procedure he frequently checked-​in to make sure I was alright, provided updates as to their progress, and how much was left to do. I still can’t believe how much easier it was than I expected.
Highly recommended.

I definitely have anxiety about seeing the dentist. This experience renewed my faith. A few days later, still floating on Cloud 9 with gratitude, I sent flowers to their office.

They were amazing! Dr. Nesari made me feel taken care of. During my root canal procedure Dr. N would take extra care to let me know how much time was left and to check on how I was feeling to make sure I wasn’t feeling pain.
The dental assistants were very gentle, warm and welcoming.
I usually fear dentists and this DDS was one you’d look forward to seeing. He puts you at ease and it is great that I wasn’t feeling judged based on my dental hygiene. The best part is knowing that I have a local clinic to go to in emergency and know that they will fit me in and make sure I feel better.
I am very happy with my treatment and am glad that Valencia Dental Center referred me to such a great doc!

You really don’t have to dread getting a root canal if you’re going to Dr. Nesari. He and his staff really make everything as painless as possible, and judging by my now-​three-​year-​old root canal, the work is solid and enduring.
I also enjoy that they have pop music from Pandora playing while they work – and if the internet happens to be down, as it was while I was just there, they might let you play your own music from your phone. :)
Finally, two thumbs up to being able to confirm appointments and payment, and be carbon copied on records, via email.

Dr. Nesari and his staff are amazing! My spouse came to see Dr. Nesari on two separate occasions. The first visit was back in July 2013 – Dr. Nesari was very warm, informative and upfront about the situation. He advised my spouse that the tooth simply couldn’t be saved, and referred us to another specialist (oral surgeon) for other options. We really appreciated his time (he squeezed us in) and his professionalism. He took the time to explain to us why a root canal wouldn’t be suitable for that tooth.
Our second visit w/​Dr. Nesari was in January 2014 (for a different tooth of course); and this time my spouse did indeed get a root canal done. While my significant other was getting his root canal done, I was hanging out in the waiting area, and I must say – they had a great selection of magazines ;-). Also, the front desk staff – Evelyn and Adela were super friendly and welcoming. Evelyn kept me informed on what was going on in the treating room, and kindly went over the financial figures with me – such as the amount that would be covered by the insurance, and our out of pocket expenses (all that good stuff). Evelyn was very thorough at explaining the costs. I should also mention that for our first appoint in July 2013, Adela was the one who helped us at the front desk and she was also very thorough at explaining everything.
According to my spouse, he was very comfortable throughout the entire root canal procedure. He said Dr. Nesari was very gentle and kept him informed of what was happening. Dr. Nesari and his staff gave us very clear post-​treatment instructions, and they also called a few days later just to follow up and make sure my spouse wasn’t in any pain.
I certainly hope that neither of us will ever need another root canal – but if it happens, we will certainly go back to Dr. Nesari!

Who said root canals are so bad?!
This place make you feel like you didn’t even leave getting a root canal. Dr. Nesari is so friendly and very gentle during the whole process. He describes everything he’s doing and is very professional at what he does. He makes sure you’re comfortable the whole time.
There’s even a car garage where they validate your parking! The assistant are welcoming and helpful.
If you need a root canal, definitely would recommend Dr. Nesari!

Dr. Nesari is awesome! I was sent to him for my root canal (my first) and must say that my experience was nothing I imagined.
Dr. Nesari is super gentle and really good at making you feel stress free. It didn’t hurt that he had the nitrous gas as an option (which I took)! His bedside manners are very, very professional. His front desk + dental assistants were just as awesome! If I have another dental periodontics crises, I will be sure to use him again!
I would recommend Dr Nesari to anybody.
