I’m a native of Santa Cruz, California and I’ve always held the Bay Area close to my heart. By my teenage years my nuclear family had migrated to Oregon. After high school, I gambled all of my chips on an hour orientation at San Francisco State University and a magnetic crash course in zigzagging city traffic. Thirty days later I had accepted a rental (sight unseen) and moved to San Francisco overnight to start a new chapter in the «City by the Bay.»

Noah was recommended to me at the beginning of my Bay Area real estate search nearly a year and half ago and it was a pleasure working with him every step of the way. As a first-​time home buyer Noah made sure I understood each step, document and every possible option for my loan. I closed on my Oakland loft 2 months ago and Noah + his assistant Jaren were invaluable assets throughout the entire process — from the 5 offers that didn’t get accepted to my final offer and subsequent closing. The amount of paperwork, number of required documents, and pure complexity in the process would have been very challenging for me to feel comfortable with if I hand’t had Noah and Jaren in my corner.
Another often overlooked aspect to Bay Area real estate is the network around the people you work with — it can make or break your real estate deal. The market is so competitive and moving so quickly that you will be left in the dust if are working with the wrong people. Noah and my real estate agent had a pre-​existing relationship (like Noah has with nearly every real estate agent) and this was a huge help. I could avoid a lot of the coordination and logistic discussions since Noah and my agent already had a working relationship. Further, my agent was able to get my seller to use Noah for his home purchase so this made the process extremely efficient.
I was able to close in under 21 days from start to finish and that was crucial for me to get my new property — it is all thanks to Noah and his team.

I would never have expected someone to go so above and beyond to help us secure a loan, but Noah is no average broker. I was lucky enough to be referred to Noah through my real estate agent. He truly made the loan process easier than I could have imagined. We had an initial conversation about my needs, affordability, and what loan programs are best suited for me. I was able to land my dream house with the support of Noah and his assistant Jaren. I honestly don’t think I would have been able to do it without them. He was able to close quicker than normal and also had a bunch of relationships that gave my offer an edge (there were many offers). A bunch of unexpected things came up that were out of our control, but he was able to keep me calm and always provide me with options. I want to recommend Noah Fierro at Opes Advisors. He helped my wife and I with getting a home loan in a quick turnaround time.
Long story-​short, we were referred to a loan officer through Bank of America. Their mortgage policies and rules now-​a-​days make it almost impossible to get a loan, which are protecting them from being burned again when the housing bubble collapsed in 2009. My wife and I were asking our friends on who would be good, and they recommended Opes Advisors. Then we got connected with Noah. He looked at our unique situation and was very assuring that he can get this done. As a first time home buyer, there is a lot of anxiety that comes with it as you are gathering all of your financial records to send to the underwriter.
Noah is honest, straightforward, yet encouraging at the same time. Again, he is very good at reassuring because, simply, he cares. That’s what makes a difference in customer service that separates him and Opes from the big, corporate banks.

I am writing to commend the services of Opes Advisory as rendered by Noah and Jaren. I was referred to Opes Advisory by my boss who used them at one time and who spoke very highly of Opes’ services. I contacted Opes online and received a call back from Noah within 24 hours. I explained to Noah what our situation was, and what we wanted to accomplish regarding a Refinance. He took me under his wing and provided a comprehensive set of options that would work best for our Refi, we had some hurdles through the process that were beyond our control and they both -(Noah and Jaren) were instrumental in coordinating with all the entities we had to deal with and never gave up on us. In fact, they went out of their way to ensure we got what we needed to proceed. Jaren was very patient with me whenever I felt discouraged and ready to give up, he always made me feel like I was his only customer and made me feel ok, if he believes than I have to trust.
We finally arrived at the end of the tunnel with more than what we expected and Noah was present at the signing with a smile on his face. Thank you both for all your efforts and EXCELLENT and professional customer service and always going above and beyond the call of duty.

This review is coming from the perspective of an agent in San Francisco. Noah is someone that will go above and beyond your usual lender. Noah truly cares more about the individual and their financial situation, more so than getting you into contract on a home. Noah and I worked together on a very complex situation with an HOA in the Mission that would only take special financing. Noah was able to get the building approved prior to the offer date, pre-​approve potential buyers AND close on time (30 days per the seller’s request). He brings an incredible team of specialists to the table, an assistant, plus a financial adviser to help you better under your situation. I cannot recommend a person more highly than Noah Fierro, a must meet!

Buying a dwelling in San Francisco is a deeply intimidating process: the swarms of people at open houses, the tight deadlines, the constant feeling of despair that anything will ever work out. No matter what it’s going to be tough, and the only way to make it easier is to get some good people on your side. Thus I recommend without hesitation that you seek out Noah Fierro and the team at Opes Advisors. I genuinely believe we would not be in our awesome house today without his tireless and effective work on our behalf.
Our situation was tricky: a matter of justifying wacky Bay Area compensation practices to banks fearful of government audits. Noah eventually had to shop our package around to 12 banks before he found a willing partner. Noah really went to bat for us, and I was impressed by how individualized the process was — Noah believed in us, and finally managed to find a bank that was willing to bet on us too. He actually did most of this work before we actually had found a house, which I recommend as well — the bidding process is stressful enough without fully having your financing straight, as in this market one often needs to waive the financing contingency to be competitive with other bids. I think Noah would have been great even if our file was totally straight-​forward, but if there’s anything non-​standard about your file then you owe it to yourself to get someone with Noah’s experience and perseverance.
Once we got our bid accepted the fun wasn’t over — Noah, his assistant Jaren and the rest of the team at Opes Advisors did everything they could to make closing in a few short weeks possible. The banks don’t always feel the same sense of urgency in getting everything in place that we did and Opes Advisors made everything happen in a timely manner.
Call Noah early in your housing search — you won’t regret it.

Noah and his assistant Jaren were absolutely amazing in our home purchase. He was able to close quicker than normal, so that our offer would be accepted instead of another. He had connections to the seller’s agent to help persuade him in going with our deal as well. Noah pulled every string and connection he had to make it work by our deadline including getting us bumped up to get our keys by Friday instead of waiting til Monday (we were living in a garage with our stuff in storage, so it was a bit urgent). He worked nights, weekends, and on his vacation to make it happen for us. He had great communication throughout the whole process, which is a key for me in these situations. I highly recommend him.

Noah Fierro and his Assistant Michael Thystrup were truly phenomenal! I certainly lucked out when I found Opes Advisors and Noah through a strange turn of events regarding a property I ultimately passed on. But today I closed on the house of my dreams! I was leery of Opes at first because I had always dealt with banks I was familiar with, but after talking to Noah the first time I realized there was no way I would be working with anyone else. He immediately found me a fantastic rate and locked it in when he saw rates starting to go up. All along throughout the process both Noah and Michael have constantly communicated with me and always clarified everything. A traditional bank gives you their set rate, a mortgage broker like Noah finds you the BEST rate out there… and on top of that, they have so streamlined the process that everything moves along like clockwork. Pretty amazing as this was not the first property I have purchased, but it certainly was the easiest! I recommend Noah and the entire Opes Advisors team on your next home purchase.

We were really apprehensive as we started this process and Noah took exceptional care of us. He gave my husband and me a competitive quote going in, informed us that he uses local title companies and other local associates, AND has a great handle on the unique San Francisco market.
Once we got going, I received a comprehensive list of items needed and Michael followed up, keeping me updated on what was still needed. It all went quite smoothly. More like they made SURE it it went smoothly for us!
When it came to the point of signing with the title company Noah actually shuffled around his schedule to be there in person so he could explain all the documents we were to sign. The process has been remarkably low stress!

We were referred to Noah Fierro by our very trusted real estate agent. This was after a terrible experience with a mortgage co. who promised to fund our loan irregardless of an unusual co-​ownership agreement we have with a friend. Yet after their underwriters read the agreement, and after we were out $ 650 for an appraisal, they decided that they could not give us the loan unless we changed the agreement. This was not an option so we sought another loan broker. They would not give us a refund on the appraisal fee even though they promised they would get the loan through.
We told Noah all this upfront. He did some research first and found out that his company could give us a loan. My husband was really skeptical, especially when it came to putting the money down for the appraisal. But Noah was involved at every step. He kept us informed. He moved quickly. Because of the agreement there were some significant glitches but Noah and his company found ways around these bumps. All without causing us undo stress. My husband and I were amazed. They even went so far as contacting our lawyer for an addendum to the agreement and, true to their promise, they paid for it to be written, notarized and recorded.
When Noah promised to get us the loan, he meant it. We got a competitive percentage rate on the loan. The service was caring, professional and true to their word. I even told him it was like «old fashioned» service when the customer mattered. Man, how I wish we had used Noah and Opus Advisers first. I highly, highly recommend them.
