Nikki Fancher, LAC

I started seeing Nikki over a year ago to help out with my anxiety. Since then she has treated me for everything from a chronic pain disorder to shoulder pain from repeated motion to getting the blues during winter. She is the most knowledgable and kind acupuncturist I’ve ever seen and I don’t know what I’d do without her. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment!

I love coming here. Nikki always brightens up my day with her humor and wisdom, and I walk away feeling so much better. Coming here always calms me down and I trust her completely (which I don’t say easily at all). I’m glad I listened to the other Unilocalers and gave this place a try!

Nikki is amazing, I don’t know what I’d do without her. She came very highly recommended to me by my previous acupuncturist who moved away. She’s helped with everything from digestive problems to pain from a previous surgery. She’s incredibly talented, nurturing, and very intuitive – I always end up leaving feeling like I’m somehow cheating by being able to instantly feel so great no matter what I went in feeling like. On top of it all she is very gentle and would be great for anyone fearful of needles, she has a special technique that makes it so you can barely feel them. Seeing her has really changed my life!

I was an acupuncture novice, with no experience that it did anything for me; I had a treatment once, several years ago, in a spa setting to help my allergies.
My experience here completely changed that – results abound. Nikki is extremely intelligent and an excellent puzzle solver. I’ve been seeing her a little more than a month for endocrine related issues and a slowly-​recovering injured foot, and am already seeing results. I cannot wait to see how things improve from here, I have utmost faith in her skill and am looking forward to working with her more.

I have had chronic knee pain for a couple of years, after tearing my ACL. I had tried a few different treatments since, including seeing a «backwoods acupuncturist outside of SF». It was crazy, I felt uncomfortable and it didn’t really affect my knee. After trying deep massage and pilates, my girlfriend suggested I go see Nikki. After my initial acupuncture experience, you could imagine I was hesitant. But I went. And I am so glad I did.
Nikki is awesome. She is kind and normal… a regular person, who is incredibly talented at what she does. She has a great reputation amongst her peers, and everyone that I know who has received treatment from her, has been so pleased. Nikki helped me to work through some of the pain I was experiencing, and gave me some different exercises (that no doctor had suggested) for me to do on my own.
I am no longer a skeptic, but I am certainly loyal to Nikki. You won’t be sorry if you go see her. She will make you feel great!

wow talk about a relaxing time !!! Nikki is fantastic she really understand how to use acupuncture to relax you completely. It is the best nap I have ever taken in my life. It feels liek I am sleeping on a cloud and the world is a fantastic eutopia. If you have a crazy day and need to just relax, you have to see Nikki as she will put you on cloud nine and get you back in balance. She also helped me get ride of my cold faster also. Ohh I can not wait for my next session.

Nikki is a truly gifted acupuncturist. Not only does she have an amazing technique that provides an environment that makes you feel comfortable and receptive to the treatment, she also explains, in great detail, what each treatment entails. This is absolutely necessary when I need to feel comfortable about referring a patient for treatment.
Since this is foundation to her practice, I send all of my patients who need acupuncture to Nikki. I know with full confidence that they are getting the best care and support that is truly complementary to the work that I’ve already started.

Nikki Fancher is amazing. I have been seeing her for a couple of weeks and am always looking forward to my next acupuncture session. Nikki is amazing and I recommend her to anyone and everyone. She is an extremely patient, thorough, compassionate, funny!, smart healer who takes a lot of time to listen and explain everything. Definitely very reassuring especially in a world where western doctors give you five minutes. She has extensive knowledge, though, of western medicine and has worked with me to get the treatment and information I need from my western docs. Nikki also has a wealth of good referrals to share, for everything from therapists to docs to pilates instructors. She will send you down some excellent paths.

I have been seeing Nikki Fancher for 5 weeks now and I am officially HOOKED! I am so happy with the results.
I originally went to see her for low energy levels (often feeling sleepy midday), allergies, digestion and a few other things. I am happy to say that all of my goals of acupuncture were COMPLETE after only 4 weeks in what Nikki thought might take 8 weeks. It turned out that I was suffering from massive allergies (that were even worse than I had thought) that were making me feel tired, among other things.
Nikki is amazing! She is extremely friendly, calming, and knowledgeable. I feel comfortable telling her everything. She had me do some blood testing to make sure that everything was good with me. She takes a holistic approach, which is wonderful. So we talk about acupuncture, but we also talk about nutrition, my work, other things going on in my life, and everything else. She doesn’t just stick me with needles & leave the room. She takes the time to explain & answer my questions & hear me out. She is a great listener too! She also has a great rolodex of other health & wellness professionals that she can refer you out to, if you bring up something that is not within her scope.
I am recommending Nikki to all of my friends, colleagues and clients. She is a star!
Now I have a few new goals in mind for the next 4 weeks: weight loss (pre-​Mexico vacation!), upping my vitamin D levels and lowering a few other things that came up in my blood testing. I am excited for this next round, as I am confident that the results will be just as great as the first round. With the help of her custom blended herbs & the other herbal supplements Nikki has given me, I am excited to knock these goals out. I am already feeling great after week 1 of 4 of round #2!
In learning more about the clients Nikki works with, she said she can also help women & men with sleep, pain, and fertility issues. Apparently IVF is WAY more effective when coupled with acupuncture. And I have also heard that she can help give women in their 30’s, the eggs of a 21 year old :) And she can also help women lactate. As for pain, she does «cupping», which helped take some tension out of my neck & back one day when I was in for my treatment.
Nikki is reasonably priced. Believe me, to me her effective treatment is priceless… absolutely WELL WORTH the investment. Once I do this next round of treatment, Nikki has suggested that I revisit her practice on a quarterly basis; which is perfect & totally reasonable.
For the record, acupuncture DOES NOT hurt! It actually feels kind of cool. And if you «aren’t OK with» or «are not into needles» these little things are hairline needles. I didn’t think I was a «needle person» either, but these do not bother me whatsoever. I sometimes forget they are in when I am laying on the table taking my 30 minute «nap» while the stratgeically-​placed needles work their magic.
Nikki amazing! Go with an open mind and see her & enjoy! It is a relaxing & totally wonderful experience. And the Mission neighborhood is a fun one to visit with lots of culinary delights within a block to treat yourself after a blissful treatment with Nikki :)

As a medical professional, it is important that those who take care of me share the same values of respect, compassion, support and kindness. I have learned that patient-​practitioner relationship can truly be the most integral contribution to the healing process – quite possibly more integral than medical odds or a practitioner’s years of experience. This said, I trust wholly and confidently in Nikki Fancher’s work. Nikki is able to penetrate through to the core issues with a steady, loving focus. Her bodywork is simply Divine!
