I saw Christine for three appointments before I gave birth. Christine helped me alleviate soreness in my back and stiffness in my legs — the pain I had been feeling for weeks was gone after two sessions. We then tried to help move the baby into position as I was very eager for the baby to come. The day after my third appointment I started having contractions and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I highly recommend Christine! She’s very knowledgeable and has a gentle, relaxed manner which is calming especially for a first timer to acupuncture like me.

This review has been a long time coming. I hesitated because Christine is already in high demand, but she deserves a five plus star review! I’ve been going to Christine for about a year and she has helped me tremendously with insomnia, and also an achilles injury that she’s been treating me for. Her treatments always leave me feeling relaxed and that my chi is cycling the way it should be to help me heal from my injury. Christine is an extremely competent acupuncturist with excellent credentials, also having studied under an esteemed practitioner in China. I feel that I’m in good hands and have finally found my acupuncturist. I’ve visited a couple of others before her before settling in with Christine. She’s patient, smart, funny, a perfectionist and experienced. I look forward to many more treatments with her.

Christine is a fantastic acupuncturist. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and taught at the chinese medicine school and studied in China. She is thoughtful in her treatments and is genuinely concerned about her patients. I’ve seen her for various tune ups, colds, allergies, stress and back aches. Every time I leave I feel better and trust in the treatments and herbs she has given me. Would highly recommend her!!!

Christine has changed my life. I was apprehensive about exploring acupuncture and come from a family of doctors, but after seeing many physicians with minimal improvement, I was ready to give up.
Under Christine’s care, my physical health has changed DRAMATICALLY, with measurable and undeniable results. She is highly educated and experienced, and her evaluation and treatment planning at each session is thoughtful and well explained. She is particularly knowledgable about women’s health, but she has also provided invaluable thoughtful, constructive advice about both my diet and lifestyle. As an aside, since going to Christine, I have been free of sinus infections and colds which I used to experience fairly often.
Over the years, I have come to see Christine not only as an exceptional clinician with demeanor and bedside manner second to none, but as a trusted friend.

I have seen Christine in the past 4 years. Having insomnia, stress, pain, sprains, irregular heart beats, headaches, etc. After a few sessions with Christine, you’ll be either as good as new or on your way to recovery.

I first started visiting Christine for treatments more than 10 years ago while experiencing terrible repetitive stress injury (those long hours of the «dot com» days!). I had tried physical therapy in the past and found it gave me temporary relief, but nothing long-​lasting. I was willing to try anything given how much discomfort I had.
The early treatments were very intense and I was probably going at least twice a week (and also getting body work/​adjustments from a great chiropractor). Within a few weeks, I noticed I was finally experiencing relief! Needless to say, I’ve been getting treatments from Christine ever since for one thing or another. E.g. in 2006, at age 40 I started thinking about having a baby. Everyone warned me it would be difficult given my age. Christine worked with me slightly adjust my diet and take Chinese herbs and, along with the acupuncture (and some help from my husband), I was pregnant within about 3 months! It worked again with the 2^nd child a few years later.
I have had the opportunity to receive treatments from many types of body therapists, including other acupuncturists, over the years. Without hesitation, I can say that Christine is one of the very few unique professionals who has — and listens to — strong intuitions but balances that against what her client is saying and feeling. She uses all the tools in her tool kit, including listening, consoling, encouraging, guiding, cajoling. This, along with her unbelievable knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture and other healing arts is a rare find.

Christine is THE acupuncturist to see in San Francisco. I can’t say enough positive things about this woman’s skill level and competence, not to mention her caring attitude and genuine interest in maintaining her clients’ health and well-​being.
Before seeing Christine, I had found another acupuncturist here on good ‘ol Unilocal.I saw this woman for six months before finally admitting to myself that I knew I wasn’t getting the level of care I wanted. At every week’s appointment I felt like I had to remind her anew of what was going on with me, her treatments were always very rudimentary, and her bedside manner was lacking. She was always distracted and never really seemed engaged with her job, or me.
Switching over to see Christine was like someone opening the curtains to let in the light. All of the sudden I had someone who not only paid close attention to my aliments/​issues, but adjusted her care according to those conversations. Christine has helped me overcome infertility, allergies and different body imbalances, all with specialized care and attention. Her vast and specific knowledge, along with her expertise in fertility issues, make her an invaluable resource for any woman who is trying to conceive or any individual looking to restore or maintain a healthy body balance.
What also makes Christine unique is that she combines her expertise in Chinese medicine and herbs with her knowledge of traditional western medicine. When dealing with specific medical issues, this creates a bridge between the care you’re receiving from your doctor and Christine’s. By incorporating both types of care, Christine’s care helps you make the most of both traditional western and eastern medical approaches.
Hands down, Christine is the most educated, professional, and caring medical professional I have received care from, ever. If I could give her ten stars, I would.
