I started seeing Kate around 37 weeks pregnant when I found out my little one was breech. I wish I would have found her sooner! Continued seeing her postpartum too. The combo body work and acupuncture is amazing!!! Can’t recommend her enough.

Kate Maxey is a true healer. I have been going to Kate Maxey at Lightfeather Acupuncture for one year. Last May, I badly sprained my ankle weeks before a hiking trip on the Big Island. My western doctor told me to cancel the trip because I wouldn’t be able to walk. A friend recommended Kate who I went to immediately. A few intensive sessions later, my ankle had totally healed and I hiked that whole island without any problem. I go to Kate at least 2 – 3 times a month and each time I leave a session, I feel grounded, rejuvenated and healthier. Kate is gentle, focused, calm, and really knows how to heal. Her work environment is so inviting– a real refuge from the city outside. Whatever my health needs are, Kate addresses them. I love seeing Kate and feel truly grateful to have her as my acupuncturist. I absolutely recommended her and believe you will find her to be wonderful, too.

Having received acupuncture for quite some time, I don’t believe I have truly been healed, moved, and changed to the greatest potential before meeting Kate. She came highly recommended and I’m SO glad I made that first appointment weeks ago. I’m now completely addicted and look forward to my weekly sessions of restoration and healing. Kate is a warm yet strong, and highly knowledgeable and intuitive practitioner. She is a great listener and truly cares about your well-​being. I have never felt the slightest bit rushed, which I think adds a lot to the whole experience. Kate’s integrative approach is seriously unique and the best I’ve ever experienced, so if you’re considering acupuncture treatment you really don’t need to look any further. Kate is the jam!
