Mike was the selling agent for a condo we recently purchased. I set out to rent it myself but was pleasantly surprised with all the unsolicited help Mike gave me along the way!
Mike is truly top notch. He goes above and beyond what is asked of him and really makes you feel secure in what is normally a daunting task. He is warm, personable, optimistic but realistic, and puts a lot of work into making you feel taken care of.
Mike is a keeper. Rest assured you’re in good hands. He will go the extra mile for you. If he is available to work with you, jump at the opportunity and don’t look back.

We purchased our first home from Mike in SoMa San Francisco and the experience has never been better and easier.
As a listing agent, he is not pushy and he is always available for us when we needed him. He responded to our texts and emails in less than 15 minutes. Mike is really layback and honest. He always speaks his mind and he tells us what he doesn’t like about the units that he is showing, leaving it up to us to decide if we like it.
In my opinion, his attitude of selling/​buying homes makes him the best real estate agent/​broker. We highly recommend him and will work with him again in the future.

Mike helped me sell my loft in San Francisco at the beginning of 2016 and I can’t say enough good things about him. Having worked with 4 different real estate agents in the city in the past he really went above and beyond to take care of me as a seller.
He met with me and listened to what I wanted to get out of the sale and understood that I had a compressed timeline with a pending move to Hawaii. He set expectations high and then went on to exceed them. He had a sound strategy for getting the best price for my property. I was a little uncomfortable with the strategy (personally would have preferred to be more conservative) but in the end he got me 20 percent over asking and an all cash offer, so no complaints here.
He was patient with my nerves and his organization and extreme attention to details kept everyone including the buyer and his agent on schedule and continued to push the deal forward.
I would whole heartedly recommend Mike to anyone looking to sell or buy a place in San Francisco. I think you’d be hard pressed to find a better agent to fight for you in SF.

My husband and I just sold our loft, and Mike was our agent. We met him originally in 2003, when we bought our loft, and even though he wasn’t our agent then, he went out of his way to be helpful and offered insightful information about the loft and building. Since 2005, we began renting our unit out and asked Mike to be our agent and manager. Naturally, he was also our first choice when it came time to sell. Mike has a great personality – very friendly and honest. He guided us through the process of prepping our loft so that it looked amazing and showed really nicely. He was extremely dedicated and worked round the clock to ensure everything ran smoothly and efficiently. We highly recommend Mike if you’re looking to buy, sell, or rent a place in SF – he’s the best!

Mike helped us with both buying and selling in San Francisco. He first helped us with buying our current home during a crazy market where every offer is over asking and often all cash. He gave us great advice on how to approach this market and decide on the right amount to offer and also to counter with. And although we are seasoned home owners the advice was greatly beneficial in the type of market we are in right now. We ended up getting an accepted offer despite all the other offers that were equally if not more attractive. He also has a phenomenal reputation in the industry with other brokers here which we feel helped to convince the sellers to choose our offer over a less seasoned broker and offer. His reputation (shared by other brokers I spoke with) is that he has high integrity and operates with openness. We can’t agree more. While we were in the midst of buying our home, he helped us find a great tenant for the home we were moving out of and made the experience stress free. He only presented qualified candidates and even separately rent out our parking spot since our tenant did not need it. Most recently, he helped us sell our home which is where the real amazing part comes in. He recommended a staging company along with some basic improvements to the condo which my husband and I attribute to the amazing interest we received in the unit. On first pass, we were taken aback by the upfront investment we were going to make to prepare the condo but we have such great faith in Mike’s real estate know-​how that we decided to go for it. We had over 40 interested parties visit in a single day and that was before it was on MLS, purely from photos posted online. And we received multiple offers a couple days after it went on MLS on the first open house. Mike gave us guidance on how to make our decision on which offer to take and when to provide our answers back. There are so many details to this selling process, and he took care of all of it. We did not need to get involved, he did everything and literally just contacted us when we needed to sign or make decisions. He is considerate of our time, we are both extremely busy and with a young infant on top of that. The experience was truly a pleasure. Our condo sold for the highest in history in the building and went well over asking (think over hundred thousand upwards!) and even sold higher than the unit upstairs that is larger than ours. If you are considering a broker to help you buy in this crazy market, you cannot go wrong with an industry veteran like Mike who knows everyone, and if you are looking to sell, I can’t say enough! Highly, highly recommend!

Mike is the bestest festest. We originally started working together back in 2007 when I bought my first loft. Ever since, we have been working together on numerous transactions throughout the SF Bay area.

So believe me when I say that Mike is the most genuine guy I’ve met in all of SF (and I don’t mean that lightly!). He has high ethical standards as an agent! Mike is incredibly knowledgeable about the SOMA real estate market, and guided me through the process showing me not just what was on the market, but recently sold properties, so I could get a feel for what types of properties were selling for how much money. I had my heart set on a modern condo loft, but when I through him a curve ball and fell in love with at single-​family live/​work building, he smiled and guided me through the purchase process expertly. Mike knows a lot of people who help out with the process, from inspectors, to mortgage brokers, to laborers to do work on the place after move-​in.

Spent an entire weekend looking at over 30 apartments and Mike was by far the most genuine and down-​to-​earth Realtor I met with. He took his time showing me several units, including his own personal place so I could better get an idea of what a place might look like furnished. He also didn’t make me feel rushed while touring and made sure every question I had was answered.
