I never really liked that location. I only go there just to pay my bill and once in a while I go to get something else.

— Horrible staff employees that one Asian lady that used to work there. I am glad she doesn’t work there no more. I tried to buy a phone that slides and she wouldn’t sell the phone to me due to a lack of reasons. I have NO contract with you guys. So why can’t I buy a phone without getting some type of lecture about having some sort of credit?

Marisol is the new manager at MetroPCS store on 16^th & Bryant location. Marisol had messaged me a minute ago in the hopes to better assist me to make sure I have a better experience with MetroPCS. Thank you, Marisol but I will be taking my business elsewhere at a different location. Thanks though.

I have been shopping for a phone from San Bruno to San Francisco and finally found the phone i was looking for at Metro PCS in San Francisco on Bryant Street. On my lunch break from Johns Grill, i stopped in to shop for a new phone. Manny, the manager showed me the savings i could make by purchasing the right phone with the right service plan and how much i could save. He explained all the technical aspects and advances with the LG Stylo and even did a comparison analyses of other companies phones. And i agreed and purchased a great phone at a great price. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Manny for your professionalism and excellent salesmanship… im a customer for life!!!

I went to this metro Pcs store to get some help with my new phone that I had bought a week ago, and the employees were really attentive and very nice most important to me they had lots of patience in explaining all the features of the phone, employees are courtious, respectful and very professional.. I do recommend going there if you are looking for a new phone or even swapping to try a different carrier.

The counter people here are rude and indifferent. If you are upset, they could not care less. There are no refunds or contracts, so the best you can do is just quit and move on to another carrier. The 800 number is the worse off shore customer service I have even encountered. They are reading from a script and can’t speak any English or deviate from the script in anyway. If you do they are instructed to pretend that they can’t hear what you are saying.

Terrible customer service, if you want anything done. Do not go there. Go to the one on 900 Van Ness.
I was ready to drop Metro PCS forever after talking to one of their associates I felt cheated, and very disappointed after more than 10 years of being a customer. The «assistant» just did not care, did not like her job, did not have a good day… any could be true but my experience was really terrible.
And the worst part is that this is a branch not a distributor, and they simply do not want your business.
They pretty much told me that I could just throw away my $ 400.00 year and ½ old Samsung S3 (yep, not an early adopter).

All of the staff should be fired, notorious for arguing with customers, they keep your Sims card when trading a insured cell phone. Store opens at ten a.m. staff in the back office of the store applying massacre, eyeliner and lipstick. Computers booted up after the doors open. Bad supervision. Bad customers service. Cooperate, I suggest you keep a close eye on the inventory at this store. SOMETHING JUST AINT RIGHT!

Seriously some of the worst customer service and management I have ever encountered.
Today was my wife’s second attempt to get a new phone as her old phone is falling apart. The first attempt, after her work, was a FAIL because the hours on the website said that this store closed at 8… we arrived at 6:55pm when they were promptly locking up for the day.
Anyway, back to today. Wifey went in to get a new phone. The first person that ‘helped’ her could barely look up from playing solitaire and was disinterested in any form of help. She would later find that this idiot is the manager. Sigh. She was then ‘helped’ by Diana, who told her that she could not buy a new phone today as they were out of inventory and that the few phones they do have are for new customers… not long standing customers. And they aren’t really sure when the new phones are coming… nor do they care. WOW. How the hell do they even run a business?!
So I called and luckily enough was able to talk to the stupifying human, Diana, who basically seems to not give a shit at all about any of it.
Stay away from these people. They only make the world a stupider place to live.

I came in here once with my dad to remove one of his credit cards from automatic payments. The staff members are polite and efficient in helping my dad remove automatic wireless payment from his credit card account. They were prompt in helping my dad process his request. Only two staff working but they are very friendly so this is always a good thing. This is how efficiency and excellence in customer service should be demonstrated. If you happen to be at Potrero Center looking for a Metro PCS store, come on in to this one!

terrible place. unfriendly guard watches your every step. stupid mean spirited workers are trained not to help you but to speak to you like a robot and are very unfriendly. not a pleasant experience at all. a place to avoid!

Maritza is the best! She goes out of her way to please a customer. I met her when I was having problems with my phone. She listened then gave her advice. She never seemed bothered by me or my questions. She actually seemed to understand. Maritza is the reason I gibe this store 5 stars!

No different than any other Metro store. They refuse to answer the phone which means you have to go to the store. Manager has his head up his bu**, and lets face it, Metro is the worst cell company in the USA. Time for a change that’s for sure.

To be avoided.
This is a «Corporate Store», which means it s should be the same as calling in — it is not just an authorized reseller.
Which means, when you sign up for a new phone/​service, you should be able to walk out of the store with the $ 40 plan — i was told by Alba– who only spoke to her monitor, and avoided all eye contact — in front of my 3 companions, that I could only start with the $ 50 plan, and that i had to call to change it after the first month.
A lie.
I called the moment i got home, and was told by MetroPCS support that:
1. Corporate Stores can start you at $ 40/​month
2. i didn’t need to wait 1 month to switch to the lower-​priced plan.
Come on, the reason we go to Metro PCS is for the low cost plans — don’t pull an unauthorized bait and switch and think we won’t notice, or won’t go to the trouble.

Customer service here is awful. I came in here one night to get a free movie ticket based on one of their current promotions. All you needed to do was show them your ID, and you will receive one admit-​one movie ticket to any Cinemark theatre.
Here’s where problems and obstacles arise:
— At first when I came up to a rep, he told me that you needed you be a new customer and open a new account in order to receive the ticket. I told him otherwise. He conferred with other staff members who told him that he was wrong. So in other words, all the employees don’t know anything about their own promotion. Anyways, I was able to just show my ID while they go to the back and retrieve a pass for me.
–Secondly, after I received my pass, An Acquaintance who arrived about 2 minutes after I did wanted the same promotion so she was right next to me ready to show her ID. The rep said that it was one per family. I told him I was not related to her at all. The rep then said since we came into the store as a group, it was only one per group. How ridiculous is that? I asked the rep where it says on the promotion that was the case. He said it doesn’t, but it’s what his manager told him to do. Do I sense a form of discrimination here?
— I said I wanted to speak to his manager and was transferred to Yentil who basically said the same thing but this time it was her manager who told her. I asked to speak to her manager, and she said he’s not in right now. She also said it was corporate who told her manager to tell her and her employees about not giving passes to each person in any group that comes into the store that are talking with one another. (Ridiculous I tell ya!!) So in other words, if I came behind someone who I don’t know into the store and happened to speak to that person and both knew about the promotion, only one of us will get it???
— Anyways, I asked for the corporate phone number and the store managers name (Hong Le) and number. I was told to just come back tomorrow. End of story and goodbye.
So to anyone that is reading this, I’m telling you this is what kind of people you’re dealing with. Making up rules as they please even though it’s not even written down anywhere. I think I’m gonna be taking my business elsewhere, and I’m telling you guys to do the same otherwise you’ll be screwed over just like the acquaintance of mine was screwed over.

Very professional service which I did not expected to get from Metro PCS office in this location, I love their phone which are cool and even stronger then other phones even so it not the most pretty one you can find. I gave four starts this the service was good, the phones were strong and the fix cost of $ 65 for four weeks in the best you can find. I left one start off this you can not talk outside the bayarea or San Francisco Location.

this was the most helpful metro store i’ve been to yet. i had to get my samsung replaced under warranty because it just basically fizzled out. and they were totally helpful about it and didn’t ask me 50 times if i had taken the battery out and tried to turn it off etc. which is what i encountered at all the other metro stores i tried to have help with my problem… but they just took it in back, looked at it for a few minutes, printed up a receipt, and left a message a couple days later saying my phone was ready to pick up… now i have to get over there and pick it up!
** update: that phone broke on me about a week later.

Lousy service, charge you extras for every little thing, and the management is ran by moronic 20 somethings who don’t understand plain English if their life depended on it. I have no real problems with the service its just the morons at this store. Especially that pip squeak Filipino manager, most useless manager I have ever encountered.

I think I am not exaggerating when saying that I have seldom felt so small and helped so unprofessionally as here!
I love their international calling plan (even though you should not walk and talk and rather stop at a spot with good reception…), but that’s about it!!!
I am sure my complaints are specific to that store on Bryant, but… that is pretty unheard-​of! Not only did they not only NOT set-​up all the services I asked them to when I got my phone (auto-​pay etc), on my contract it says NOTHING but my name and the final amount I have to pay each month. Was he too lazy to check a few of the boxes? Too lazy to write down minor important things like my password, phone # etc. Also, he offered all these things I could do (like transferring my contacts) and in the end virtually NOTHING worked.
Also, their store stinks and you don’t feel save.
That’s not all:
Another time I came back to complain that I did not receive international text messages. He looks at me and says: «Babe, international text message are ALWAYS a problem, go and ask AT&T.» I have had other carriers in the past and received ALL messages!
Last but not least… I went back (why, I don’t know…) to get a car charger for my phone. And… they didn’t have it! They also don’t have the headphones that come for free with my phone. Apparently «they don’t make them». What? Anyway… the charger! «We don’t have the charger you need!» That’s too bad! Wasn’t to happy after everything else… but it happens. «Oh wait, I found one last one!» Great! Came with it from the back, in a plastic bag, sold it to me, did not wanna give me my receipt. What’s going on here??? And… wouldn’t you know it, he sold me the WRONG charger!!!
After allthat, I took a loooooooooooooong way home, I needed lots of fresh air!
I do love the calling plan, but I would NEVER work with them otherwise!

I shoulda got a pager.
Because that’s all my phone really is.
But alas my fellow impoverished citizens with poor credit — they have us by the proverbial balls, no?
Seems that all college gave me was a one way ticket to the ghettofabulous lifestyle.

Ok, I should state that sometimes I have those moments when I think I am a great writer who has not been discovered yet, or who by mistake went for a wrong major at univ (education, btw) So today, I mean right now I am having one of those moments. I want to write. I want to write and be as honest as possible. About this place.
Well, let’s start then. Two weeks ago, to be specific on Sunday evening, My phone (which I turned off for the whole day so I can have some privacy) would not turn on when I pressed the red power button. I kept pressing and pressing it. It just died on me, BASTARD. DIED ON ME ON SUNDAY NIGHT WHEN NEXT MORNING I HAVE TO GO TO WORK AND NEED IT LIKE HELL!!!
Anyways *fixing my hair* I thought it might be the battery, I took it out, turned around, looked for something I do not even know what and after realizing it looks fine from outside, I put it back in and pressed the red button again. It just did not turn on. That’s it. The Phone ist Kaputt! It was hella broken for no reason.
I knew it was the phone, but my honey kept telling me «Trust me, IT’S THE BATTERY» I tried to convince him that it is not the battery, that something’s wrong with the phone, but at the end I gave up. Hey, whatthehell. He is a man, I am a woman, I sometimes tend to believe that he has more knowledge about wires and hammers than I do:))
I went to the store next day –the one on Bryant street.
My first impression –We are all used to thinking that MetroPcs is for illegal immigrants or for people with bad credit. The locations of some Metro stores leaves us wishing for better. Most metro stores are located in some scary neighborhoods with crackheads wandering around and asking for some change and spitting on your shoes. But this one WAS CLEAN. It was located in a clean neighborhood. I was surprised after not being able to locate actual spit marks on the signs outside the store. TRUST ME, THIS IS RARE!
Anyways, I walked in, and there was a line of people waiting to be helped. It was moving super fast. something like 8 people were «customer supporting» some 5 customers. It is a big Plus!
I entered and was greated by this very nice security person who called me baby (?) *then I realized he calls everybody baby* He told me someone will take care of me. And someone really did. I bought my battery, and before I was left, the person who was helping me told me «Keep the battery and the receipt. Try it on ur phone and if it does not work, bring it back for a full refund… and if you bring your phone with you, I will run a test on it. If it is broken, you might get a free phone» I was like HHHUUUUUUUHHH? A free Phone?
The word «U might get a free phone» sounded like the sweetest music for my phone free ears. I brought my phone next day (the battery did not work) got my money back, the person looked at it, asked me why the record shows it was used before. I told him it was a gift from someone. He asked me for the person’s name. I said the name and he looked at me and said «Oh, that makes it clear. So the phone was URS from the start! Let me talk to the manager and we will try to get you another one». He went back, and while he was away, another very nice person came up to me and asked me if anybody is helping me and if I have any questions. I was starting to get uncomfortable. HEY, I AM NOT USED TO THIS TREATMENT! MOST metro stores treat you as if you owe them something. They move slowly and slowly put their phones down making you feel like you are bothering them in the middle of their conversation. But these guys were different. They were all smiling. WTH? People smiling at a metro store? I won’t believe this if I was not the person who is actually telling you all of this. Anyways, he came back with a new phone and took my old broken phone and that was it. I left the store with good impressions and a brand new phone. And you have to note: I have no insurance on my phone. they just gave me a brand new phone which was not even under my name from the start. Their records only apply Samsung’s factory warranty on the person that bought it. How sweet is that? And all the time they talked really nice to me.
They were so nice to me, that I feel like breaking my new phone, so I could go through this whole nice treatment thingy one more time.

my foster* dog, twinkie ate my cell phone. actually, he ate it twice in two days. chewed it to death. this does not mean he is unadoptable, it just means he hates technology and refuses to accept change at such a ridiculous pace. i mean, what was so wrong with telegrams? that was twinkie, not me. i am totally down with change and would do all of my communication (including sex) over a computer if i could… damn my want for human affection!!! anyway, i frequent this metro pcs for new nokia cell phones often. the old school nokia phones are THE BEST, btw. i drop my phone at least five times a day and often try to talk on it in the shower and that shit just keeps on ticking. only the iron jaws of the twink could murder such a great phone but what can i say? ABC, Always Be Chewing.
ANYWAY, whenever i head into this particular metro pcs, i am greeted by a very cheerful staff who usually cuts me some sort of a break because i’m crazy dog lady and they feel bad for me and i bet there is a little part of them (just as there is a little part of you) that prays they will never end up like me. in fact, two of the girls have adorable pit bulls and we always trade photos of our dogs and talk about how cool they are and how stupid the majority of the population is regarding pit bulls. it is fulfilling. then i get my new phone, take it home and twinkie eats it. again. such is life. or um, such is my life.
minus one star because you can only service in san francisco and like, parts of north dakota.
