Super chill spot, nice lounge, good music. Drinks were a little pricey and never paid $ 10 for a shot but I was having fun so it doesn’t really matter in the end.

This is the second time I’ve been here, and I think It might actually take the cake for my least favorite place in SF yet. The bartenders really go out on a limb to make sure you feel as uncomfortable as possible. I’d use the word prick, but that’d be an injustice to pricks everywhere. I don’t know his name, but if you like tall gothy bartenders who haven’t matured since jr high, this is the place for you!!!

If you are looking for a great club to go to on the weekend, Mercer is a great idea! YAYS: –The Djs play great music(this is the best plus! good vibe music!) — location has surrounding parking –pretty safe in the design district, after the club gets out –the venue has a great lounge area with couches for groups — bartenders are cool and get everyone — dance floor to get your groove on! — Security Guard is cool and fair, does a great job If you are looking for a great spot to throw a private party… check out MERCER!

My girlfriend invited me out Saturday night to Mercer. I was tempted to stay in but I’m glad I didn’t. Mercer is a breath of fresh air in the SF club scene. A diverse crowd, cool venue with a dance floor and separate couch area for large parties, and full bar. What else do you need? Oh yes, good tunes. This night my girlfriend’s bf was djing spinning hip hip and old school rnb. The crowd was definitely into it, he spins here the 3rd Saturday of each month. The only real downside is the bathroom situation. One male, one female. Though I will say the line goes quickly. They have a fairly large drink menu and the bartenders make some pretty awesome cocktails. They accept cash and cards but you can’t start a tab! :( There’s an ATM near the front door. Cover is around $ 10-$ 20. Mercer is worth checking out if you’re in the area.

That new-new! Tons of street parking, quiet neighborhood. nothing really nearby. Seems super safe, however there is only one security guard. I would say the dress code is really semi-casual. Girls can walk in with jean shorts, chucks, combat boots, tanks… Don’t be «that girl» doin too much wearing stellettos and a dress that shows your cameltoe… BESTPART: Came on a Saturday night, they played all hip-hop/r&b & oldies. Mercer definitely got the club goin upppppp!

This place is pretty dope — really cool vibe, good sound system. Average drinks. Met a cutie here and now we’re SMASHING! So maybe I’m a bit biased…
